At present i am working with 3-5 year olds we have a class in the morning & a different class in the afternoon. They are out for about an hour to an hour & a half long depending on the weather & successfulness of the activities.
We may be working with older children in the future as i think the 6-8 year olds would benefit greatly from it, its great for building confidence, independence & self-esteem.
As you can proberbly tell i'm really enthusiastic about it & its great to finally have a job i enjoy!! I have this plan to come over to the US one day & work over there at this & then i would be closer to Disney!! You see my whole life revolves around coming home to Disney!!
Gotta go & do some college work - i've nearly finished my 2 year course & then i'm qualified & will get more money....and yes youve guessed it - i can afford come back to Disney!!!

Hi all!! Once again I am not getting emails that people are posting, maybe DH is erasing them???

Curt- you are now the 4th healthy adult I have heard about having pneumonia, what a crazy winter!! Glad you are getting better!

Thanks for all asking about the potential adoption. We did choose an agency that we will work with if we do adopt and are leaning toward albania, bulgaria, and guatemala. DH really wants to adopt a little girl from China. However, we have decided at this time to work with an infertility specialist to find out why i keep having miscarriages and what a @#*#!^* that has been. Back and forth to the doc for poking and proding. I have one more major test and some more blood work to do and hopefully we'll have an answer soon. Then, depending on what they recomend to solve the problem, we will decide if we want to try that avenue or adopt. Thank God for the two we already have, my heart really goes out to those who have to go through all this crap and don't have a child to come home to!

I need a cruise SOOOOOOOO bad but we just can't plan anything until we know how and if we will be growing our family. I miss the Sea and all of you guys. NJcruiser and I are hoping to get together end of March when she is in Chicago for business, I' m really looking forward to that!

Tracey, Thanks for sharing the information. I'm glad you have a joy you really enjoy. That is so important. I've had a job years ago that I was miserable with it and the people I worked with, and it just wasn't worth it. Ever since then, I said I would not be in that situation again! Luckily, so far, I haven't.

Kim, Good luck with everything. I hope the poking and proding give the answers that you need to make a decision. I'll continue to keep you and John in our prayers.

I'm so happy that Diane, Rick and Matt are going to cruise with us again this year. I told our Matt and he was overjoyed!

I have been so bad and haven’t been checking this thread (or any others) in weeks. I’ve been traveling a lot for my job 6 out to the last 7 weeks (and next week too) and haven’t had any time.

April – we’ve done Carnival quite a few times and really like it. It’s been all 7 day Caribbean cruises so I don’t know anything about the shorter ones. But for us, the cruise is always what we make it … and I LOVE my vacations. Are you still going on the 11/26/05 cruise? We just switched to the 12/3 so our Matt could hang out with Gailyn’s Matt. The boys are still talking about each other.

Curt – sorry to hear you were sick and hope you keep getting better. The kids are going to be in BIG trouble when you get your voice back!!

Amanda – I saw one of your other threads has thousands of responses so far. You are a very popular lady!!! You got us started with a good one .. hope you have the same luck with the others.

Gailyn - Matt is so excited about seeing his buddy, but he's getting confused. He told someone that he's seeing Matt when he goes on the boat with the big fin (that's our May Carnival cruise). He's going to be disappointed.

OKAY .. remind me never to complain about a little cold weather!! We keep getting blasted with snow here on the east coast. But it’s March so it’s almost over … right???

Kim – I’ll send you a note. It’s looks like the “end of March” trip is just the night of the 21st. Hope you are available. It will be really great to see you!!

April - I did carnival two times before I was married with girlfriends and loved it, (what I remember of it if you know what I mean ). Two of my friends went last year with their families and loved it and both have been on multiple cruises with other lines. You'll have a great time!!

We are sailing carnival and although I know it's not DCL I am sure that we will have a great time.

We have friends who sail Carnival every January without the kids. I don't think they've ever cruised with their kids but always said they would go DCL or RCCL if they did. Otherwise, for just the two of them, they prefer Carnival or one of the lines that has more adult fare. Steph and I sailed NCL when it was just the two of us (many, many years ago--I think there was still fear of pirates boarding at that time) and it was nice to have mostly adult activities.

Yes, I sent your pictures at the same time as Diane's and Kim's . Send me your address again to make sure I had it right, and I'll go to Costco in the next couple of weeks and get copies made. I think there were only a couple. I know there was one at the beach of the adults on CC .

Kim and Diane have fun in Chicago. I hope to take Nicole this fall for her birthday and go to American Girl . Kim, do you have any hotel recommendations? Any baby news??

I can't believe all the snow we keep getting. If we get just a few more inches this season it will be the snowiest winter on record! Isn't that aweful!!! When will it end, JUNE??????

I'm so glad that this thread is still going. Even though I don't have as much time to check it, I love hearing how everyone is doing.

Hi guys, i'm not a happy bunny today! My brother & his family are in the air now as i type this, winging there way across the atlantic for 19 nights in Florida including 3 nights on the Wonder. Boy am i depressed!!

Amanda thanks for offerering to get me the Buffy videos, but i'm all up to date now, it was a very kind offer though.

The shooting at the court house made headline news over here in the Uk too, and today i saw something else about a shooting in a hotel, cant remember where in the US though.

I've just been reading a thread comparing RCCL, Disney & princess cruise prices, i may seriously think about RCCL, i supposeits better than no cruise at all!! Any info antone???
Well i'll go back to looking at the clock & wondering what my brother & his family are doing now & this time tomorrow & this time next week Arghhhhh

Amanda - our Carnival cruise is on May 8th and we're doing the Mexican Riviera. We've cruised on Carnival 4 times and loved them all. We've enjoyed all cruise lines - Celebrity, NCL, RCCL and some others that aren't around any more. In fact ... I love every and any vacation!!!! Carnival is a lot cheaper and the dinners are better than Disney, but there are often long lines (I remember them from lunch). Disney is geared for the kids and everyone on the ship expects to see kids running around. Not so on Carnival. Anyway - we have no choice this time because my parents love Carnival.

Tracy - it's been over 10 years since I've been on RCCL and it was just DH and me so I can't help you much. I so know that I enjoyed the cruise, but I love them all so that probably doesn't count.

Curt - that would be great if you guys could make it into the city for a visit with Kim and me on the 21st. Keep us posted.

We had a blast last year, I think this is the best time of the year to go and we booked again for the same cabin, same date.
Going on a family Princess Cruise in June- Hoping our 3 year old won't be disappointed with the kid's program.

Gailyn and Amanda, thanks for asking about the baby front. My last test is this Wed and then we meet with the doc (probably next Wed the 23rd) to get all the results from the last 4 or 5 weeks of tests.

Amanda, i thought of you and your family the other day with the courtroom shootings, how SCARY!! I'm glad that's over and you guys are all OK.

Gailyn, American Girl is supposed to be great. My inlaws just stayed at the Doubletree to attend the St. Pat's parade and they like it. Let me talk to my friend that lives in the city and get some more recomendations for you near AG store.

Tracey, we did RCCL in 2001. We were on the explorer (voyager class biggest ship) and paid 725pp for a balcony!!! This was our favorite vacation second only to our honeymoon!! We actually (don't shoot me guys) liked this cruise tons better than Disney. We did Disney for our son but the ship and food in our opinion were way better at RCCL. We did Princess in 2002 and it also was not as nice as RCCL. We will definatly do RCCL again and then do Disney in a few years when our youngest can go as well since he missed this last trip. We are huge RCCL fans and I also think Carnival is great for the money.

My Lovely thoughtful brother keeps texting us from Florida.
Monday they told us they were at MGM's & were going to 50's Primetime for dinner (as recommended by me!)
Wednesday they had been to blizzard beach & Epcot (said mission space made them feel sick! - wimps )
Today they are at DC with the dolphins.
I turn on the tv to see a holiday show covering disney & the cruise - the cruise never gets mentioned over here! Someone is torturing me up there!!
I've heard the tour operator who we like to use as brought out there 2006 brochure early so i'm off to see if i can find it - wish me luck

Eeeks, we were banished to page 2 ! We can't have that LOL!!!

Did everyone have a nice St. Patrick's day???? We didn't go to the parade, it was too cold and Matt and I have bad colds. The kids were sad that they had to go to school because it seems some schools were off.

I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend of lounging around and watching DVDs with the kids .

I'm starting to get excited for our December cruise. I've been slow to get into the spirit for some reason. Knowing that Diane, Rick and Matt will be cruising with us again has bolstered my spirits .

I'm starting to plan our '06 Disney trip. Don't know if I'll talk Greg into an '06 cruise, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. We're going to WDW in March and then again in October. The October trip will be the longer of the two and we'll do MNSSHP again. We've done it 3 times and love it. The weather is also great in October and the crowds are low. I think that the Disney Vacation Club is one of the best purchases that we've made. It's easy to plan a trip knowing that lodging is taken care of. Anyone else planning to go to WDW then?? We'd love to see our cruise pals again!!

It's still freezing in Cleveland! I'm so tired of this weather.

Anyone have tips on Western excursions or favorite things??? We're really not sure what to do at Key West (with the kids, not the adults !
