Anyone on line right now?? DH and i just talked each other into upgrading from our cat 11 to a balcony. Any thoughts on whether we should do cat 7 - navigators or cat 6 balcony? Son is only 4 is open balcony safe. Think we'll stay on deck 5 now that we've heard from everyone how quiet it is.

I really wouldn't worry about the Navigator verandah vs regular. Both are very safe, and the door to the verandah is very difficult to open-sort of a backwards working handle! No problem keeping your 4 year old from getting out there unattended. I would doubt there are any Navigator verandahs left - there are so few to begin with, they tend to go fast. Having a balcony is very nice! Go for it! You'll love either type (Rooms are identical)

OK we are in 5630 cat 6. Actually, we could have gotten a 7 there were more of these than cat 6, but i saw you are in a cat 6 so you must like it. I don't really understand why you would want to be in a balcony that is covered and not open. I wish i could find a good picture of one of these balconies. Anyway, glad we'll be your neighbor!

Kim - your DH doesn't need to be with you to check in. But he'll need to keep a picture id (driver's license). Then when he returns to the terminal he needs to go to the check in counter (without waiting in line) to show his picture id and get his KTTW card. You'll need to tell him which counter you used so he can go to the same one - he can find you in line before he goes to the counter. We did it last year .... very easy.

Well, I heard today that our documents arrived at the travel agency, but not sure when I will get them - I don't mean to sound annoyed because I am not - I just want them

Problem is, that my MIL is the owner of the travel agency and she is in the hospital - she and my FIL closed the business for the week, but I hope they will mail us our stuff -

Do the documents tell you what your dinner rotation is?

Ok, I got home and was looking over our documents. Was reading the Helpful Tips on the "Please complete the following": The first thing it says to complete is the “Bahamas Immigration Form (1 per guest)….. For the life of me I can't find this form in any of the paperwork
Does anyone know if this should be in the booklets or a separate piece of paper?
I was going to call DCL but thought I would ask here first.

Nice pictures. I can't believe how Max has grown in just one year! Matt is really looking forward to meeting him and Matt and Chase and everyone he's been emailing.

We will be at the port early as well around 10:30 or 10:45. Maybe the kids will meet early and stay entertained while we're in line. That would be wonderful. I picked up "sonic boom" green Mickey's at Home Depot (out of "aileen green") and will have names on them and attach to our luggage. I'm not very creative, but I did stop at Michaels and got stickers to spell names.

Going to Office Max today to get magnetic paper to make door sign.

Can't find a over the door shoe holder with clear pockets!! Any suggestions?? The one I bought at Target is not clear and so I'm leaving it home.

We're staying at Ron Jon the night before the cruise. We got a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $138 per night using a discount code that someone on these boards posted.

ONLY 4 MORE WEEKS!!!!!

Denise--you are doing a great job with the updates. It seems to change regularly and I'm sure it will change even faster now as the docs appear to be arriving.

Gailyn--I found over the door shoe hangers with clear pockets at Big Lots. We have a couple of huge ones in Indianapolis so they carry a good variety of items.

Today I'm putting together the oft-needed first aid kit so I can see what we need to purchase (little things like sutures, splints, backboards, head bandages). So much to do and, thankfully, so little time.
