Well,we did it! Signed up for the Ca-Fl repositioning cruise in Aug/Sep 05. Suprised at the rate we got, but they sure climbed fast. Anyone else doing this or any of the other California cruises too? Now I've got two to pay for! Didn't really want to retire anyway!!!

We are going on the 11/27/2004 cruise! Hubby(36), me (44), our boys Trey(5) & Tanner(3). It sounds like the 5 year olds will have a great group, there don't seem to be alot of three & four year olds. This is our first cruise, we have been to DW several times and thought we would try a cruise! I hope the kids love the club, my hubby and I are looking forward to some alone time. We will arrive at DW Animal Kingdom on 11/24/04 for three nights then off to port on Saturday morning via HappyLimo!

I amm sooooo jealous! That is the cruise I wanted to take In looking at the rates, I just cant justify spending that much on a vacation, or taking the kids out of school for that long. I woud love to go. I can only imagine how great it is going to be! Lucky you!

Congratulations - I'm sure you'll love the 14-day cruise. I just did a 10-day to the Panama Canal in March, and it was great. We went thru the first set of locks, then spent the day in Gatun Lake before returning back thru the locks. For me that was enough - going all the way thru is a long day, and the sights don't really change <g>. However, one day when I'm retired I'd like to do a transcanal that goes from FL up to Vancouver (or reverse)...but that will be 21 days or longer. For now I'm stuck with 7-10 day cruises, but that's not exactly a bad thing!

Thanks everyone for the welcome and adding me to the list. I think this is the first time I wished summer was almost over and it has not started yet! I forgot to give my cabin number, it is 5513. Someone aked about Happy Limo, they quoted me $260.00 to pick us up at the airport drop off at Animal Kingdom, pick us up at Ak on 11/27 and take us to port, then pick us up at port on 12/4 take us to the airport in time for a 11:45 flight back to St Louis. The nice thing about them is the pick you up at the luggage claim and stop at a store for snacks and drinks if you want. Their website is happylimo.com or 1-888-394-4277. Hey how do I add a counter to this?????

Just checking in. Welcome Sue, BAREFOOTER and all the new cruisers!! I'm so happy with the long list of kids! I hope my 5 yr old DS and 7 yr old DD will spend some time in the clubs.

Denise, we are checking in at the Ron Jon on Friday the 26th around 1:30 or 2:00pm. Our flight arrives at MCO at 11:30. We then pick up our rental car and drive to the port.

BTW, the travel agent at AllSeasons Travel gave us a rate of $79 for a one way rental of a minivan. Is that a good rate??? I have no idea.

Someone asked about the rate at Raddison and Ron Jon. At the beginning of March, we received a rate of $139 for a King whirlpool suite and a rate of $89 for a double at the Raddison by calling.

Then, we read about the Ron Jon resort on these boards and the DISCOUNT CODE 102 FROM THE FEB ISSUE OF FLORIDA TRAVEL MAGAZINE. Using this code, we booked a 2 bedroom unit at Ron Jon for $138.75 plus tax. Much cheaper than the two rooms we would have booked at the Raddison.

Anyone thinking of going on the California/Mexico cruise summer of '05. I think it's a 7 or 10 day. AllSeasons Travel just sent me an e-mail about it last week.

Izzinmac, what is the date that you are sailing summer of '05??
