I'm not in 2575 - I'm in 2572. I couldn't handle not having a porthole for 7 nights, lol!

We'll be at Villas at Wilderness Lodge prior to the cruise - I'm arriving the Wednesday before, and other friends at the resort are preparing Thanksgiving dinner the next day for 8 of us. Sheila will join me sometime Friday, I think - then we'll drive to the port to board the Magic on Saturday. Can't wait to see the ship decorated for Christmas, and Castaway Cay too!

I called DU yesterday and spoke with Chuck. Very nice, very helpful. He gave me our cabin numbers and apologized that they had not sent a confirmation. Anyway....

We are now unsure of where we are staying Friday night. Chuck suggested renting a minivan at the airport and driving to the Radisson. With a car we could do some sightseeing. We could also stay at the new Ron Jon Resort. I don't know...too many choices.

We arrive in Orlando around 2:00. I suppose we could also stay at the MCO Hyatt. I will obviously have to give this more thought.

Right now you could get a studio at Ron Jon for $75 with the discount code or a 1 BR for $140. It has an onsite restaurant, great pool and movie theater. No shuttle though.

A 1 BR sleeps 6. Four in the BR and a pullout in the LR. Here's the room diagram. When you call, tell them you have discount code 102 from the Feb. issue of the Florida Travel Magazine to get 25% off if it's available during your stay.

Hi, guys! Thought I'd check in to update our list with the "real" names of those who are cruisin' with me (I'll split them up into cabins to keep the confusion down):

1). Eric and Linda (Pops/grandpa and Mom/Grandm)-young spry 50-somethings plus myself-Tracy (age 30-YIKES!)

2). My younger sis Tiffany and her new husband John-twenty-somethings. My nephew Micah will be celebrating his 12th BD on this cruise (even though his real BD is Sept. 4th)

3) My older sis Terri and her new husband Todd-ages in the mid-thirties!-and my older nephew Matt (will be 16 years old by cruisin' time!)

4). My brother Todd and SIL Janet (both in their mid-thirties) will share the room with my sweet niece Moriah (age 14 at time of cruise)

Wow!!! Some sort of thought or idea or information always sneeks into my daydreams at some point during the day to make me smile....and dream....and practice snorkeling in my bathtub!!!! *straps on googles and prepares to dive on in!*

By the way, we are going to Orlando for Spring Break in 4 weeks!!! Can anyone think of anything we should check on while in town?

Has anyone been watching for the Hyatt MCO on Hotwire? I would really like to book that cheap since we aren't going to be there long. Plus that gives us more money to spend on the ship!!!!!

I think the idea of everyone meeting up on board is great, count me in! We dont know our cabin number they dont tell us until we check in, might see if tour operator can find out for us, i know we are in a cat 11, but we might try and upgrade at check in, dont mind if we cant were not planning on spending much time in our room!!
