Curt & i were discussing Dec 07, although we are hoping to go Christmas 2007, if my new job make me permanent i will have to go in school holidays Oh well thats a price i will have to pay, but at least i will be able to afford to go!!!

I will e-mail Curt & tell him we are having a mini reunion on here

Popovich - would love to hear about the halloween trip as we will be there for that next year & i cant wait to go to MNSHP, never done it before.

Hi everyone! It's great to see the thread again! I was so sad when it disappeared about two months ago. Tracey--thank you for e-mailing and letting me know that we've got a mini-discussion. We've got some news--we just took in a three-week old foster child. She was released from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and we picked her up last Monday. Steph met the mom today and said that she is in rehab and is trying to get the baby back home, so we're keeping a perspective on all of this and realize that the baby might only be with us for a few months. Unfortunately, we're not gettting much sleep--I'm getting kind of unshaven and they're wondering at work if I'm really Snow White or not (someone correct me on this--but people at work claim she didn't have a five o'clock shadow). Still looking at possibly '06 for a cruise but waiting for prices. That's all for now.

I can't tell you all how fun it is to hear what's going on with everyone, it makes me smile!

We will receive the referral of our daughter any day now, so I check my email about 100 times a day. This cruise was so neat for me, thinking about adoption, and then meeting some of you wonderful adoptive parents really made me want to move forward, and now here we are.

I would DEFINATLY like to cruise with you all again, I'm really leaning toward sept,oct,nov,dec "07 so keep me posted on all of your plans!

Diane - when are you back in Chicago? I really need some advice on how to get through the madness that is adoption.

Kim--how wonderful! Congratulations! It's great to hear from you again. I'll be in Chicago Heights on Friday and I thought about going Thursday and paying a visit, but I would have had to carpool and couldn't have gone anywhere. Plus, Steph probably would have killed me, so I'm driving up Friday morning instead. It's so good to find out that things are going well!

It would be nice to see pics of everyone on the cruise last year & perhaps some recent ones too (with new family members Curt & Kim!).

Tracey--I'm not sure how to post pictures. I went to the FAQs, but it didn't help much (but I know how to put in an emoticon now). We officially became a large family yesterday and traded in our somewhat stylish minivan (or as stylish as a minivan can get) for a very ugly 15 passenger van. It looks like someone took a white van, put a big gob of black paint on the front and ran it down the road as fast as they could to create pinstripes. Generic white with black stripes just isn't my thing. We look like we're driving a utility truck--I had two people stop me on the way home and ask if I could install a satellite dish for them. Anyway the "White Whale" made its maiden voyage yesterday and I only went over six curbs, took out two mailboxes and scared four little old ladies walking down the sidewalk half to death. Steph didn't fare as well-she only got to scare two little old ladies. I win! But its nice to be able to haul seven children legally along with the dog, musical instruments, toys, sports equipment, cookware, large furry creatures we can't identify, eight diaper bags, six changes of clothing...you get the idea. I'm just now getting around to reading all of the other posts. Amanda and Darci, I'm jealous! You're getting to go back within the next year. That is wonderful! We're still hoping for December '06 although we've got some planning to do in the interim. Keep us posted--at least we can kind of live the cruise through you guys!

oh Curt! How precious..to fix the size sign into your accoutn. Look for that picture, click edit, and then resize usually the one that is checked ( I think it is 50 % I am not sure though) is the best one and about the size of the picture I posted of Nassau.

tracey use the little yellow picture of the mountain in you reply and paste your picture address in the littel box that pops up
