11/27/04 the sequel.....

This is our 2nd year on the 27th cruise. LOVE IT! Last year we booked on board because we had so much fun! We so got into the holiday spirit.
I can't wait to meet everyone else!

Did you take little ones before or are you taking them now? I've read some contradictory reports about bringing toddlers and infants but then I think - it's Disney and I know it gets hectic but we all love it.

Right now I am mostly worried about getting seasick but if I survived labor twice I think I could handle this too.

Another question..Do they have Xmas decorations already for this date?

Yes, we took our litte one who was three at the time. She had a blast! She loved the club, shows and excursions.

Regarding christmas decorations, yes! they are everywhere. That's why we love it so much. They do all sorts of holiday activities including a lighting of the big tree in the ship. Our favorite holiday activity was decorating gingerbread houses.

It looks so nice, your pics are great. I haven't seen it in person and I already love it. Now I can't wait... I am Xmas freak and so is my daughter! I was a little hesitant but someone told me if you went through labor twice, i think you are strong enough to handle seasickness.

BTW, sorry to keep asking you questions but I want to make sure I pack the right type of clothes. Does it get chilly during the day or only at night? I hope is not too cold so my daughter will be shaking when she comes out of the pool! I'm sure she won't mind, though.

Just a little breezy on board. The only time it was cold was when were leaving in FL. FL had unseasonably chilly day-70 for the high. The pool was warm and DD was toughing it out. I just had a light shawl for night time, really didn't need it- once we got to the blue waters it was warm at night.

If you DD is young and still likes to wear the princess costumes make sure you bring them for her. On formal nights and Golden Mickeys a lot of the little girls and boys dress up in their costumes for pictures- very cute.

Thanks for all the info. Did you use Flounders? I want to reserve but not sure what times would be more useful. What are the activities during the day that you wouldn't want to bring a 9 month old along. I am guessing the shows at night but don't know about the day. At what time are the shows?

We are waiting for our referral of our daughter, we are adopting from Guatemala.

My 2y/o, who did not come with us on the cruise, keeps walking around the house seeing the picures. He says, "me Mickey boat too!!" Maybe we'll join Curt and darci in "07??

Its Curt & me that are planning for Dec 07, we are keeping in touch by e-mail.
I got the teaching assistant post at the school & am on 1 year temporary contract & hoping to be made permenant, if i am i will definatly be on that cruise!! Should find out around May next year.
I have picked my wedding dress & we are looking forward to the wedding at Clearwater Nov 06, i am trying to talk DH (to be!!) into adding a 3 night cruise at the end of our wedding/holiday, he says i can book if i save the money, so i am pretty motivated right now (hes still paying the credit card off for last year!!).

Hi Kim!!! Hi Tracey!! Imagine my surprise at seeing our thread way up there on the list. More recent than the one for my 12/3/05 cruise!! And it isn't the people who hijacked the thread thinking it was for 2005 (Wonder, I think).

Kim - any idea when you expect to get your referral? Or are you in the wait stage (of hurry up and wait!!!)

Tracey - WOW .. your wedding is getting close. Just a month away. When you first told us it seemed so far away. Do you have everything planned and ready?

Everyone - I sure wish we were all going on the same cruise again!! What a group we had. The new one just isn't the same. Of course Gailyn is there but sometimes we talk to ourselves for days (sometimes a whole week). There is hardly anyone talking on it.

Hope everyone is doing okay and getting ready for the next vacation or adventure - whatever it might be.

As Diane said, this year's cruise just isn't the same. Our thread isn't very active. I hope that it picks up now that we're only two months away.

Tracey - I confuse easily!! With the wedding in Nov 1006 you have lots of time for planning and the anticipation.

Amanda - the boys had fun with Max too - remember CC and the sand big hole (was it a swimming pool?), but I agree that the connection between Matt & Matt was unbelieveable. But won't it be a kicker this year if they take one look at each other and run the other way. You never know with kids.

It is great to hear from everyone (or most) again. When is everyone's 2006 and 2007 cruises?

waiting on 2007 rates and itineraries. If nothing spectacular, we are going to try Freedom of the Seas.

No cruises planned for '06. We're going to Hilton Head in April, over Easter break. One week at Marriott Grande Ocean time share and a few days at Disney's HHI Resort. Then renting a house in Outer Banks for a week in June. WDW in October for Halloween party or in Dec. for Christmas Party. Might do NYE at Disney since Christmas is on a Sun or Mon. then stay the first week of Jan. since our Disney time share is cheap points in Jan.

I'd like to do one of the new DCL itenerarys in '07. Maybe the 10 Southern Carribean or something.

What about everyone else??

We are going this December and next December on the Magic. We have quite a group going in '06. We may have like 23 people. Some of them I don't know. Friends of Friends of Friends kind of thing.
