11/26/2011 EARLY Bananahead reunions cruise

:grouphug: Hang in there Kathy.

Greg - good to hear you are having a fun time:thumbsup2

 Everybody

Howdy,

Just checking in real quick. The internet went down at the resort the other day and now it seems to be running really slowly?! :confused3

We went from a single to triplets in 24 hours huh.....yeah, I've still got it! :lmao:

Gotta run, the kids want to head back down to the beach again....I'm feeling like another Pina Colada. :cool1:

Later.......

Hi Everyone-Thought I would drop by and say hello. :) It's been a fun and busy summer. We are leaving again tomorrow for another camping trip. This time it is close to home. We are camping on the St Clair river and get to watch large ships go by. One time we even saw a great lakes cruise ship. That was cool to see.

Kathy-Sorry to hear your mom is not doing well. You are in our thoughts and prayers.:grouphug:

Greg-Sounds like you guys are having a great time. I will have to check out your videos you posted.

Dawn-Have a great time in WDW! We may be in Kalamazoo while you are gone:guilty: I am bummed we won't get to see you.

Denise-Enjoy your time with your grand daughter. Did your house sell yet?

Well off to get a few things done before bed. Have a great night:banana::banana:

Drat--double drat. :sad1:

We are sooo looking forward to our WDW trip. It's been since 2006 since we have really "done" Disney! Can you believe it!?!

Have a GREAT time camping!

Hi Everyone!

We went to the Air Zoo this morning. For their 30th Anniversary, they are having no general admission. We had never been. They normally charge $19.95 per person. It was ok, I'm glad I went, but I am very glad that I never paid to get in. Greg, this is somewhere that you probably would LOVE to go.

Evening all:

Hi Lorna...good to hear from you. Glad your summer is going well, and I just cant believe that school will be starting up again....
Have fun camping..
Nope, house still on the market...

Ok Dawn, whats an air zoo?

Going to a wake tonite, just waiting for my ride. My friends grandfather passed away...it's a good hour drive from here and right in the middle of rush hour....gotta love it.

Greg: No comment!!!!

Later all

I guess you compare it to an animal zoo. A place with alot of different animals. This is a place with a lot of different stuff regarding "air". Lots of old airplanes. They had alot of war stuff and alot of stuff about NASA and rockets too.

Greg I have been there a few times. KSC is awesome. Too much to see it all in one day. Best strategy, especially with kids is to do the bus part first.
Just after you go through the main building, turn right and flollow the sidewalk to where it turns left, then just a few feet will be the place for the bus tours to start on your right.
Buses will come about every 10 minutes and they will take a family photo to look at later if your interested. Ours was great.

There are a few different stops on the tour, you get off and take how ever long you want at each stop then go back out and grab the next bus. One stop does have a place for burgers and snacks too.
Once the bus returns then explore the main area and such.

You wont see it all so to see the most of what you can, doing the bus first will get you the most for your time and the little one can rest between walking on the short bus rides too.

Keep an eye out for Manatees when your near water on the bus, gators too and lots of eagles and eagles nests high in trees.

Morning all,

going to be hot here today. Hotter next week.

Got last nights dishes to do, but will try to check back later,

Dawn,
have an awesome trip, give Janel and the kids a hug for me and give Greg a kick in the seat of the pants for me. :thumbsup2 Thanks,

Kathy

That sounds fun! I wonder if they take you into the Shuttle assembly building to see the space shuttle?

I've gained so much weight from this all inclusive resort in Jamaica that if Dawn did kick me in the seat of my pants I'm sure I wouldn't feel it! :lmao:

Greg, sorry you dont go into the assembly building but you do drive right past it twice.
when your done with the bus tour and walk to the back of the restaurants towards the astronauts wall off to the right is an actual space shuttle and you can walk into it, both the front (living area) and the back cargo bay area to see how tiny they really are. So even though you wont seeit beign assembled you can go in an actual shuttle. Take photos too.:goodvibes

By the wall there is a walkway area over some water, often in the water there are gators, so look closely. On a good day we have seen 3 or 4 big ones.

If you get tight for time, forget about the IMAX shows. You can see the same stuff on the TV many times, not in IMAX form but the same info. Best to miss them and see the rest of the place.

when you see the Rocket garden and how tall they are, a couple years ago many blew over in a storm and had to be put back up again. Glad i didnt have to do that:lmao: There is also a mini play area by the rockt garden for the little ones to burn off some energy.

Dont expect great food but it will fill you up at the regular restaurants. They are ok.

Hey, I'm not that cheap and easy.....I won't bend over for less then $100.00! :rotfl2:

Feels good to be back in the USA! Jamaica was really nice to visit, but wouldn't want to live there.

We went to Aquatica and Sea World today and had a blast. I was worried that the lines would be terrible, but it really wasn't that bad. The new Manta ride at Sea World is awesome!! :woohoo: (we only had to wait in line 15 minutes)

I'm off to bed....going to Universal in the morning. :thumbsup2

Good Morning!

Going to get the lawn mowed this morning before the heat starts coming in. The heat is finally getting here and we'll close the pool Sunday :confused3
