11/25/07 4 Night Wonder - anyone else?

Well... it looks like we won't be on this cruise after all... But it's for a good reason. We're taking the 7 Day Magic cruise that same week!

We were planning on spending an extra 3 days beforehand in Orlando and when I started adding up how much we would be spending it was within $350 of taking a week long cruise. Which is what I really wanted to do in the first place. So DH and I talked it over and decided to go for it!

Hope everyone has a good time! Maybe we'll pass each other!

Have a great trip! You should have a great time!

Just DH and I are going on the cruise, and then spending 3 nights at the GF. Then, our extended family joins us for the next 5 nights on our DVC points over at SSR - there will be at least 15 of us at that time!

How about you - are you spending Thanksgiving at the World?

We are staying at SSR from Sun-Thurs after the cruise too. There are 8 of us and we are doing some GG events.

Is everyone traveling with a Passort? Am I still the only hold out that doesn't own one? I keep meaning to get in and do it, but somehow time escapes me! The thought of spending $500 on Passports is less than thrilling, that's for sure! I kept saying I would do one a week (since March) but still haven't done that either! LOL What can I say, never do today what you can put off until tomorrow, right?! ;)

I hear the back up for getting one is tremendous and that we should seriously apply early, but I just haven't gotten there yet. Now with only 129 days  to go I guess I should really snap out of it and do it!

We already have ours and it took us quite a while to get ours. According to my travel agent they will not allow adults to travel without one anymore when leaving the country by any means but they are going to make concessions for children under 13 I believe. I wish I would have known that before I spent all the money on the ones for my kids!!!!

Just bumping to see if there are any new additions!

It's getting closer! :yay: :yay:

We'll be on the 11/25 Wonder! This is our first Disney Cruise and first cruise with the kids.

We have 4 daughters (16, 14, 12, and just turning 4 at time of cruise). Our 12yo will be staying in a cabin with friends and their 12yodd.

We are all SO excited. :yay:

:welcome: to DIS...it's our first Disney cruise too:banana:

Okay, I know I started a "Who's cruising after Thanksgiving" thread earlier but I see I need to get in on this one also. This will be our 1st cruise of any kind and we are so excited!!! :cheer2:  Me (41), DH (42), and DD (10). Can't wait to see you all there!! Let's keep in touch until our time arrives and see how each other's plans are going!! We're flying into Sanford on the 23rd late afternoon and maybe going to Cocoa Beach on the 24th or just sight seeing, then trying to get a good nights rest before we head to the Disney terminal Sunday morning. Then after the cruise we are driving to WDW for our 1st ever MVMCP. We've been to WDW 4 times, (DD has been 3 times) but never been when all the holiday decorations are up!! Congratulations to all of us first timers and also to past cruisers!!

Hi mickeyluv...I couldn't find your post...we are flying into MCO on the 23rd and then going to Cocoa Beach on the 24 for the night...my dd's wanted to spend some time on the beach in the sand...We are pretty excited about seeing everything decorated for Christmas too...I didn't realize until yesterday that they should also have the Wonder decorated.

While on vacation in Disney last week, my DH surprised me with this cruise to celebrate my big 4-0 which falls the day before Thanksgiving. We are flying in on Sunday AM from LGA and attending the MVMCP on Thursday when we return. This will be our 4th cruise, 1st time on the Wonder, and we have another one booked for April vacation with my entire family, compliments of GG & Pop-Pop :) I'm a lucky girl princess:

I just wanted to remind any Castaway Club members that we can pre-book reservations starting Monday AM. I've got a note on my computer for Sunday night. I'm not sure if I'll go to bed and set the alarm for 2am or just stay up.

We haven't cruise before and can't make any reservations until Sept 11...do you know what time they open online? We really want to go to Palo's brunch and are concern we will not get a reservation. TIA

I thought I read at 2am. I'm going to try starting at midnight. I'll let you know how I make out. FYI, I'm on the East Coast.

HI Jaime! Sorry, to take so long answer your post...We were also thinking of spending some time at the beach on the 24th. How old are your DD's? We were talking today and I told my DD that she might meet a friend on the cruise to hang out with at the kids club.

BTW-I am in the middle or reading a trip report and this particular family meet their fellow cruise mates with whom they had been DISing with on a their pre-cruise thread like we are all are doing. Is their a 11/25/07 Cruise Dis meet set up yet?...or is there such a thing?

Hi...my dd's are younger...3&5...my friends ds's are 4&6...they are travelling with us.

I haven't seen a DIS meets set up but we would be interested in one.

I was just talking to a CM who said our dining time is 8:00 with formal night on the first night...she said it could change...does anyone know what this rotation could be?

We read on a trip report that last year the first night of the cruise they had a tree lighting cermony and Mrs.Claus reading stories...my dd's would love this! I hope it is on our cruise.
