Well, it is important to Lisa and I, anyway.

As much as I hate to do it, I think we are going to pull out of this cruise and wait until 2008. I really got to thinking about it this weekend, and as much as I love Disney, I would like to do some other trips this year. I don't know if we will make it to Europe or not, but I would at least like to see some parts of this country that we haven't visited before.

We will miss seeing all of you this year, but that will make the Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats reunion tour all the sweeter.

I will still post on here occaisionally!

I can relate to that. What started this whole thought process is that Lisa has never been to Charleston, SC (I was born there), so I am taking here there for a long weekend for her birthday in March. Then, I am watching the Travel channel yesterday, and this show is talking about things like Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Grand Tetons, and other places that I have only ever seen from airplanes. So, being the outdoors person I am, I am sitting there going "I want to go!". I know, I am a weenie!

Plus, I just had to shell out bucks for a new computer this weekend since our old one died a couple of weeks ago!

That sucks Bob but I don't blame you a bit. We do what we need to and want to. Hopefully you'll be there on the 08 tour. We'll have an extra helping of the salmon mousse' for you at Palos. Woo and I were just discussing other cruises last night and we both agreed they would happen sooner rather than later. I doubt we'll ever get cruising out of our systems---we're hooked. But new vistas are always gonna be fun to explore.

Grand Canyon is worth the drive, too. I still remember it from my childhood, aka, a long time ago. VERY impressive.

I feel your pain about the new computer. Hubby is currently shopping for a new processor and such for his. He is feeling jealous over my new laptop (the old one had a broken keyboard, was overheating, etc.) and so he needs a new set of internals to run his one hobby of Terragen.

sorry to loose you this year, but will be looking forward to seeing you and Lisa next year

You will love yellowstone, grand canyon, Tetons, I have been a few times and they are great!!! Be sure and check out the lodge at yellowstone, it is beautiful. You may need nose plugs for part of your drive through there, the geysers really smell BAD!!!!

If you ever get to Oregon, be sure and check out Craytor lake. As beautiful as the post card pictures are they cant compare to the beauty of the blue lake there. The Painted desert there is great too.

Our country is chucked full of many great places to see. Mount Rushmore is great too and Chief Crazy horse monuement too.

I hope you'll get to see lots of it over the years. We have been very blessed to get to see so much of it during our lives and hope to see a lot more.

Let us know where you go and how you like it.

I will try to keep an eye on everyone so they dont get in too much trouble on the 07 cruise. Dont want them to get banned before 08

Dawn: I enjoyed your Kalamazoo snow today! Fortunately, the drive from Lansing was dry up to Battle Creek, then just wet roads all the way to my destination in Kzoo. Tyler (4) was so surprised (and in awe, I think) at how deep the snow was! Couldn't keep him out of it! I'm just glad I didn't have to shovel it.

Holly, want snow? Going to get another 6 - 10 inches by tomorrow morning. It is already coming so if you want to help shovel!

Very rarely are our schools delayed or cancelled here in Kalamazoo--we are Comstock. The school districts have mostly "in town" kids not like some of the outlying areas. Off hand I can't even think of a gravel road. Ice is far more of a problem than snow.

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've checked in. Don't know why! Guess it's all the 'this n' that" that's been going on here.

I found out my mom has lung cancer They say it's small and they are going to discuss the treatment.
Our daughter is going to be a mom! The bad part about that is
I'm going to be a grandma again! I'm feelin' older and older as the days go by.
There really isn't anything bad about it! She's so excited and I'm happy for her.
I couldn't wait to be a grandma and now they are poppin' out all over the place!

We, Steve and I, are not going on the 07 with you guys I really want to travel up the east coast and see Williamsburg. We are going on the 08 though!
I hope you all have a fantastic time. I'll check in from time to time to see what's up with you all and to make sure you don't forget us!

We spent the last two weekends at WDW. It was fun. Last weekend Steve and I went alone and stayed at Ft. Wilderness. This past weekend Stephen and family came and we stayed at Ft. Wilderness. Our daughter and her husband stayed at the pop century. (I think that's what it's called) We had a great time. We brought Bailey (our dog) and he stayed in the kennels. And guess what! Bailey got a magical moment! Our dog got tapped for a magical moment! That was too funny! He got a chew toy, a chew bone and a ball! Now I ask you, why didn't I get the Cinderella castle stay! It was still kind of exciting, even if it was for the dog!

CONGRATS for your daughter and you too-according to my grandmom you can never have too many grandkids

Just got my car back from being inspected.....it FAILED cost me $460 and I still have to take it back at the end of the week for an ordered part and do re-emissions test and hopefully it will pass

Holy cow! I sure don't miss that lake effect snow! We're supposed to get only 1-3 inches, but that's fine with me! I can't stand snow. But all Tyler talked about at day care today was how deep the snow was in Kalamazoo yesterday.

Hi everyone,
we did get very cold, low 30's but didnt hit the 29 that was predicted here.
we lucked out with some cloud cover which helped to keep us a little warmer here.
I have a few quick errands to do this morning, 2 I can use a drive through but the 3rd I have to get out of my car. Brrrrrrrr!!!!

Wish I had kept some of my winter clothes from Oregon. I could sure use them today.
