Dawn-I am from Michigan too. I was on the last nana head cruise in November. Sorry to say we won't be going this November: . We will be going again in 08. My brother lives in Portage. Not to far from you. He just moved there from Kalamazoo. We are in White LAke.

Wendy, Kathy and Bob-I sure wish we had your weather here!! I am ready to get out of town again. We do head to Florida in April

Lorna, When are you heading to Florida in April? We will be there March 31st through April 7th. Wish it could be longer but I've already took the boys out of school in November for 10 days. They don't have any problems but I better not "test" the system! I keep pondering about home schooling them. We'll will be camping at Fort Wilderness this time. The boys don't remember camping there so that's what they wanted to do this time! I don't mind just a little more work for me is all. Dawn

Bob, relax, we do have helmets, in fact 2 each!!!

When we bought the ATV's Greg insisted they throw in a couple of good helemts or he wouldnt buy the ATV's, so they did. They are the ones with the full chin protection and face shield. $150 each if you were to buy them, so we got a great deal!!
But they are very HOT for Florida most of the year so we also bought 2 open face helemts with shields and we bought goggles for extra eye protection. Plus we signed up for a safety class at the end of the month!!

At our age you gotta think safety first!! One good crunch and you may never fully recover or it could take a long, long time.
See I'm not as dumb as I look I know that could be debated

Okay, I have officially changed our cruise to the Reunion cruise. Only problem is that we had to drop down to a Cat 9 due to cost. A Cat 9 this year is costing us what a Cat 7 cost last year. I may try and do an upgrade at the port or something, or keep an eye out for sales. But, as of right now, we will be down in "steerage" as Wendy calls it.

Great to hear Bob. We're booked in a 9 as well just as we were last year...but remember we upgraded at Port. There were plenty of upgrades available to cat 4 and a few 3's left (one of which we snagged). I would bet there were 6's as well though we didn't ask about those..

Hello all. Sorry haven't been posting...It's just been crazy over here. I have been paying closer attention to all the possible West Coast Cruise posts because I don't want to miss a detail. I know they will go fast. I already have my TA on alert. I have also been planning my sisters birthday weekend (this weekend), followed by my husband's birthday weekend and superbowl Sunday (both the same weekend), followed by a trip to Disneyland. I think everything should be back to normal by mid-February. I will catch up reading this thread by this weekend I promise. I know I have missed a lot.

DH's stress test turned out to be perfect ...blood pressure is still a problem though-got to 212/98 during the test

Found a few flights that are cheaper if we fly from Philly to Miami rather than Orlando-we have to rent a car anyway so instead of driving 1 hour we will need to drive 3 hours-no big deal-saves me over $300 if we fly to Miami...

Okie - Why don't you wait until the dates are released by Southwest? We didn't book ours for last year's cruise until sometime in September and we paid something like 140 a person.

For those who are new Shell is putting together a cruise list, so please PM her (Woogal) with your families information.
Things like all your names and ages of kids, room number, early or late dining, e-mail address so she can send you a copy of the list, how many cruises you have been on, whre you are from and if your celebrating anything special on board. Just stuff like that to help us all get aquainted better. A family picture is also helpful so we all know what we look like.

Shell, do you have all the banana heads pictures from the last cruise still, or do you need new ones from us???? I am Just trying to get you lots of things to keep you busy. They say keeping busy helps with depresssion after a tramatic event.


It is very foggy here today. Pat, do you have this terrible fog?? I can barely see across the street.

Well I woke up with a terrible head cold today. Looks like Minnie has it too. Her poor little nose is runny and her eyes are full of matter. She is sleeping more than usual too. But if I say the magic word, WALK, she is up and running full speed. So it cant be too bad for her.

We have Catherine (young lady on our last crusie) as a house guest for a week. She arrived late last night. It will be nice to have someone else around here during the day besides Minnie.


Linda, are you back yet?? How was the trip?? We want to know all about it!!

He did buy her ticket for her, so i get the feeling something is going on.

Guess time will tell, I would be happy if she was, because she is very nice.
