Thanks for the information about the weather Kathy. My dh was just saying it was too bad we weren't cruising this year. Good things come to those who wait, right?

Today was a normal work day for me - nothing too exciting here. I woke up up with a sore neck from sleeping on it wrong, so sitting on the computer is a little painful. Think it's time to get some Bengay and get to bed.

Ahoy there!

It's "Speak Like a Pirate Day" - arrghhh.

I'm really thinking about having DH and myself dressing up pirates this year for Halloween so that we have our costumes for next year's cruise. It looks like there's a lot of pirate stuff to choose from.

I know this may be a silly question, buy do ships impose a weight limit on luggage as they do on airplanes?

Howdy all ,
well I made it through another day with the pups. They were quite good today actually. I think they are getting all tired out from all the play the past few days.

Poncho is terrified of thunder and of course we got a thunder storm this evening. he ran and hid in my dogs travel carrier. Luckily it is a large one.
It is so cute to watch him, he sneaks his nose out once in awhile then back inside again, eventually he comes out to see if it's safe. then he plays some more until he hears a boom again then he is off to hide. Our dog cant figure him out. She just sits and stares at him.

well like I said we got thunder today and along with it came lots of dearly needed rain, it is still raining, which is a good thing.

hope everyone had a good day today and didnt work too hard.

Hope you're enjoying your evening. We're having a pretty quiet evening. Right now, we're watching one of our favorites "House". we just love that show

Poor Poncho! One of my goldens is terrified of thunder and fireworks. Once my dh was walking him and someone shot off fireworks. The dog took off at a dead run, dragging my 6 '7" husband all the way home.

Thanks for the information on the luggage weight. I hadn't seen anything, but thought I'd ask.

well it is still rainy here, but suppose to clear off later today and be 89 degrees. so the dogs can tkae DK for along walk tonight.

Other than that it is pretty quiet around here this morning.

My head clogged up so I have been up since 3:30 a.m.
hope to relax this afternoon if the dogs will lay down for awhile.

Just thought I do a quick to see how everyone is doing this morning.

Today we're only supposed to reach the mid 60's. What a change from the 80 degree weather we were having on Monday. I think fall is definitely here. At least it's sunny and bright...

I'm hoping the weather stays nice through the weekend. On Saturday we're celebrating my brother's birthday and he's going to ask his girlfriend to marry him. Then on Sunday we're celebrating my DS's 13th birthday. He wanted to go golfing with his friends and then pizza afterwards. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out.

Well, I guess I'd better get back to work. Check in with you all later.

Sorry I haven't posted recently. It's been a very sad few days. Pompom passed away. We knew it was coming but still weren't prepared. We are still going to Disneyland tomorrow so I am trying to focus on that. I will check in when we get back and try to give you a full trip report.

Thatis why we didnt have a dog for so many years, it hurt so bad to loose one. I know that day will come sometime with Minnie, but hopefully we have a few years to enjoy.

my internet went down this morning so I am late checking in today.

we are going to hit upper 80's today. Tomarrow is DH's birthday so I will be baking a cake early tomarrow and we are having his birthday dinner tonight, because he has to go to the airport at dinner time tomarrow to pick up DS. So tonight is home made taco pizza.

well the Pizza came out great.
Now Greg is going to let Poncho swim for about 30 minutes, then he will take both dogs for a walk to tire them out for bedtime.
That also gives me a break from all the running around and playing.

I forgot the Wonder was on a special cruise today, I was waiting to watch it go out past the 2 palms camera tonight when I remembered it wasnt there.

we had a beautiful day here today.

Well tomarrow is Friday so you guys will have time off. Anybody got any plans this weekend??? Dont know if we will do anyting or not, saturday I want to get my house cleaned up after Poncho goes home and give Minnie a flea bath.
WOW!! What an exciting weekend I have planned.

Kathy - Happy Birthday to your husband! Hope your cake turns out well.

I bet Poncho will be happy to see your son tomorrow. Minnie probably won't know what to do without her playmate.

Where is the Wonder off to? I've seen the Disney ships on the webcam, but I've never watched it leave. I'm guessing that happens on Saturday, but what time? I'd like to see if I can catch it one day.

Tomorrow night, we're going to try to finish painting the bedroom my DS will be moving back into. We have one coat on, but it looks like it needs another one.

This weekend is another birthday weekend. We're celebrating my brother's birthday on Saturday and my son's birthday on Sunday. My DH picked up my DS's birthday present today and I got the cards. The cake has been ordered and we just need to put the goody bags together. Since it's a golf outing, I'm leaving the goody bags to my DH.

The Winder had 2 special cruises this month, one 10 day and one 11 day. that is where it is right now.
Normally you can see it on Thursday and Sunday and the Magic on saturday. They are always suppose to leave at 5 p.m.
The regular port cam rarely points the right direction to see Disney ships so I go to www.twopalms.com
The ship usually goes by from 5:20 to 6:45 depending if they got off on time.

well Randy will be back tonight, but kinda late so I expect him to spend the night and go hom ein the morning. He lives 84 miles from us.

suppose to be another sunny day today.

Kathy - Thanks for the website. I bookmarked it and sent it to my DSIL. She originally sent me the link for the regular port cam. It's weird how exciting it is for us to see it on the webcam. I can't imagine how exciting it will be to see it in person for the first time.

Not that we're excited about the cruise , but every Monday I send my DSIL a countdown for the number of days remaining until the cruise. Another month and we'll be sitting at under 400 days

Right now we're planning on driving down the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Not sure of our plans before we get on the ship, but maybe we'll go to DW.
