Good morning

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Up early to get the turkey in the oven. Not enough sleep last night - but got a lot done (bills, laundrey, house ready for guests...)

Hope the kids sleep in. DD was up late doing homework so we don't have to take it on vacation. Not one complaint though. Must know it is worth it.

I can't believe after almost 19 months of posting we are finally going to meet.
Christine has been with me posting since almost day one

we seemed to of scared off many families along the way but a few brave soles have stuck it out over the months.


Today will be the last day to up our post count and it will be the busiest day for everyone.
So I will not threaten with the whip if you cant post today, but if you have 5 extra minutes I hope you will say hello

It took me almost 45 minutes to update myself this morning - and here I thought the posts would go down . . . Not so much!

Had a very busy day yesterday - got all my pre-Thanksgiving cooking done, got my flu shot, got last RX for allergy ridden dd, post office, lunch, last trip to Target (hahahahaha), took dds for pedicures with me and then crashed early last night.

DDs woke up at 6 am - don't they realize we are on vacation???

Good news that your mom is out of the hospital - I hope she gets through the rehab part quickly - it is so hard when someone you love is feeling down - here are some for her

Kim, I can imagine how you are feeling after finding out about your friend - remember she is in a safe place and hopefully they will take good care of her, help her find someone to work with her to find her way out of the deep dark hole. It is a permanent solution to hopefully what is a temporary problem/situation. I tell my clients that I can work with them on whatever is going on - but they have to be alive to do that! I will be thinking of you both

We are leaving in the morning - driving - even got some new movies for the dds - that they don't know about yet!

Gotta go start some , check in with the pet sitter and do some more prep for Thanksgiving - we have company coming in at 1 p.m.

YES!!!! I totally agree with the DWTS meeting!! I'm thinking we can get one of those darn TVs in Diversions to show the GOOD stuff! As far as predictions ... Helio!

Well, Joey and Christine should have landed in MCO about 1.5 hours ago ... let's hope they got some sleep on the plane since they like to do WDW Commando-style (no, not commando like Brit )

I talked to Kim this morning and she is doing well, all things considered. I think more than anyone, she needs this vacation! I guess it's up to the Nana Princesses to show her a good time!

Josh told me they get into OIA around 7 p.m. so they probably wont get to the radisson until around 8:30 to 9:00 p.m.

well the turkey is cooking, pie crust is made, cream cheese is warming to room temperature for making dip later.

everything is chopped and sauted and ready to assemble for the dressing too.

Just need to put the holiday tablecloth on the table before DS arrives later this morning.

I am going to do a little packing this morning while turkey is cooking.

It is starting to smell sooooooo good in the house now

will check back again soon, gotta see just how many posts we can get by tomarrow when we leave.
