Reservations at WDW? I didn't realize we needed reservations for the table-service restaurants...good thing I was looking at the website today. Has anyone eaten at the Liberty Tree Tavern? If so, how was it? What about the Cinderella Castle "Dreams come true" dinner? Any suggestions?

Anyone have a favorite restaurant at Downtown Disney? We need to find a place to eat on Thanksgiving...and my mother is desperate to have turkey on Thanksgiving. :confused3

Joey and I loved Liberty Tree Tavern. I our opinion it's the best character meal in all the parks. They serve Turkey, Ham, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce and Mash Potatoes. If we weren't going to our Uncles in Tampa on Thanksgiving, that's were we would have eaten. Don't know if there will be any reservations left since it's seems to be a pretty popular place to eat on Thanksgiving.

Hello Everyone:cutie:

Just downloading some music (that I paid for :teeth:) and thought I would check in. Sorry didn't post last night, I was at our Cafe...eating:scared: gosh I am just never going to fit into my gown. I think I am going to try to find a pair of Spanx. I heard they work really good so maybe I think I'll just finish this piece of cheesecake for breakfast:rolleyes1. What I can't waste it there are people starving out there...Paris?...Nicole?....Twins?

Judy and I will be the Spanx twins since we can't decide whether to be anorexic or fat. I'm thinking fat!:rolleyes1

Howdy yall!!
Just finishing up my brain, looks like I dont have any artistic prowess after all.

It's not the asthetics that are important anyways, it's the labeling that counts...

Hey, can we be the Fat Triplets:dance3:

Uh..not Jaime...but Jeff here. Thanks - I had no idea you could do this. Just looked at our Disney Visa points and found out we have almost 500 Disney dollars. Woo hoo. That'll pay for the spa villa!

Yea!!! I checked out bill this morning and we have 474 points...see you in the Rainforest!!! Wooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooo!

Regarding Pirate Night...I found this Velvet Jones "So You Want to be a HO" skull and crossbones nightgown/dress that my twin Ashley said doesn't make my butt look huge. But, then again, DD just threw a plastic pirate head thing at me, and I could be in disguise. ARGGGH!pirate:

Speaking of Ashley, she just called and said, "Meet us downttown on the riverfront. We're going to sit outside and eat chicken fingers." So, let's review for Christine who's worried about being fat: Krispy Kreme donuts, a slice of pizza, and now, fried chicken on the river. NO shame! This would be a good time to be bulimic!:lmao:

Mary Kate (with a little swirlie crossing the T)

You said the magic words, Christine. Good things come in threes. Or is that bad luck?:rotfl: Hello, my sister!

Hi Gang :wave2:

Just back from a trip to Wooster (in case you wonder where I got my name from) to refill Guido's incontinence Rx and eliminate the gray roots from my hair :rolleyes1 . I told my hairdresser (as I have many times before), Oh, just do whatever makes you happy! Well, this color will take a little getting used to ... I wish I could describe it, but maybe it's best that I don't.

It will wash out ... it will wash out ... it will wash out ... in time ...

Excuse my dumbness...but do they just charge it to a credit card?

Yeah...I'd just give them credit card number it works the same way as if you are buying a gift from them to give to someone on the cruise...not sure if you can pay any other way...

Hi Josh! Good luck with your brain!:rotfl:

At first I was going to say that I couldn't think of anything to change. Then I remembered a slight irritant:

I think the children's programming during early and late dinner times needs to be tweaked a bit.

A couple of the popular activities (for the 5-7 group) happen ONLY during late seating. I do realize most families with younger children have early seating, but there are plenty with late.

For example, the Nestle Cookie baking happens during late seating on formal night. Can't really send DD to make cookies in her fancy dress!

This type of thing happens on a few other nights as well. They should either coordinate start and end times so late diners can pick kids up from the Club enroute to dinner, or use that time for free play or arts & crafts. (The same should be done for the early diners.)

Of course, if my child hadn't insisted on eating with us every night, this wouldn't have been a problem!!

We noticed this too...was thinking Kierra & Alicia would only want to eat with us some nights because of it...

If you can't get what you want, keep calling. I've beenknown to make several dinner ressies then cancel what we don't want. Good luck!
Meals at the resorts are fabulous, too! Look into those for the turkey, etc.

Hey guys. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We are all home bound this weekend. Everyone but Staci is laying around sick. The kids were all out of school Thursday and Friday, and according to the school, there were a lot of other children out with what ever is going around. I am popping advil and sudafed and hanging out on the couch. Cass, Savannah and Cierrah are all in thier rooms watching TV. I think we are all going to watch the Jungle Book later since we picked it up last week. Other than that, we have lots of Disney Tivo'ed so we may watch the Disney Cruise Line show again (for the 100th time :) )

Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Just got home from a training seminar and now off to Boy Scouts............I did want to say that if you are thinking about making reservations for Thanksgiving you need to do it NOW. Alot of places are sold out. We decided we're not doing Traditional this year. We'll probably eat at the food court or Casey's. Something fancy like that. Although I heard if you get in a pinch, the food courts do sell a Thanksgiving Platter. :confused3 Never had it so I don't know if it's good.

I'll be back later, they're yelling at me. Oh yeah, forgot to tell you.......

Today is my 11th Anniversary:sad2:

This worked for us on our last trip...I tried to get a new ressie for BOMA's and had no luck until the day off...went to guest relations at MGM in the morning and they called over and got us in...however we were there in off-season.
