You guys did it!!!! I zonked out early and you carried on the torch!!!


I cant remember who asked now but YES I am wearing my pirate clothes to dinner on pirate night, I always do. Greg will have a pirate t-shirt on and a head bandana that they give you at dinner.

For anyone who is new or shy and just thinking about doing this, PLEASE DO IT !!! it is so much fun and lots of people will be in pirate attire all night. That is how the theme of the night get started, so the more who do this the better!!! Be sure and check the Navigator and get your picture with Captain Jack (if they still do it) while dressed as a pirate, that is such an awesome photo!!

well today the lighting is going up, YEAH!! right now I am just relaxing and watching Tom ansd Jerry cartoons.


Everyone did such a great job yesterday, do you think we can make another 100 posts today?? saturday is usually our day for the least amount of posts because everyone is so busy, so lets see what we can do. I will post more around lunch time, i will be busy until then.

Friends of Pat and Steve, Pat posted a few photos of the new baby on the 08 thread, they are soooooo cute, check it out.

Here's a question for everyone: if you had the power, what would you change about DCL? I for one would change the drill at 5 o' clock. Stupid maritime-thingy...

officially in the Navigator it says suggest dress on pirate night is Pirate attire or tropical attire.
so those who don't want to dress like a pirate will dress topical and keep with the theme of the caribbean.

A few years ago, before the POC movies it was Tropicalifragilistic party where everyone dressed tropical.

Sorry I have been awol lately but DS had exams all last week and we were busy studing. Today we are going to a wedding and its at 2pm and my Tigers paly at 230, so Mike is a teeny bit peeved at me that I am going to bring a small radio and listn to the game with earphones. But di have permission of the brides mother who is my BFF at work, LOVE YOU BEST WOO, since she is a huge LSU fan also.

Hi Josh! Good luck with your brain!

At first I was going to say that I couldn't think of anything to change. Then I remembered a slight irritant:

I think the children's programming during early and late dinner times needs to be tweaked a bit.

A couple of the popular activities (for the 5-7 group) happen ONLY during late seating. I do realize most families with younger children have early seating, but there are plenty with late.

For example, the Nestle Cookie baking happens during late seating on formal night. Can't really send DD to make cookies in her fancy dress!

This type of thing happens on a few other nights as well. They should either coordinate start and end times so late diners can pick kids up from the Club enroute to dinner, or use that time for free play or arts & crafts. (The same should be done for the early diners.)

Of course, if my child hadn't insisted on eating with us every night, this wouldn't have been a problem!!

I actually print off the "Least crowded parks" pages for my days and then to my cross referencing that way - but just with regard to restaurants. Since we are staying at the GF, I want to try some places we never have tried (Narcacooses, the GF Cafe and maybe the Luau if we can get in). My DD9 wants to go to the Sci Fi place at MGM but she is a fraidy cat and so is the little one- and thus I'm afraid they will get freaked by the b-movie horror flicks and need to leave immediately. So I think i'm going for Mama Melroses or my favorite, Brown Derby.

Definitely skip the Luau...expensive and somewhat cheesy. Save your money for Narcoosee'...have breakfast/brunch/lunch in the GF cafe and DEFINITELY do the Brown Derby. I love it for lunch! Nice break from the rush!

I haven't decided...Lily is for sure dressing up (we already picked out her outfit) and I'm debating about whether or not the rest of us will dress up...I'm thinking if I can find a sparkly bandana, that might sway my decision.

Reservations at WDW? I didn't realize we needed reservations for the table-service restaurants...good thing I was looking at the website today. Has anyone eaten at the Liberty Tree Tavern? If so, how was it? What about the Cinderella Castle "Dreams come true" dinner? Any suggestions?

Anyone have a favorite restaurant at Downtown Disney? We need to find a place to eat on Thanksgiving...and my mother is desperate to have turkey on Thanksgiving.

Hello Everyone

Just downloading some music (that I paid for ) and thought I would check in. Sorry didn't post last night, I was at our Cafe...eating gosh I am just never going to fit into my gown. I think I am going to try to find a pair of Spanx. I heard they work really good so maybe I think I'll just finish this piece of cheesecake for breakfast. What I can't waste it there are people starving out there...Paris?...Nicole?....Twins?

Busy day today. It's my friends daughters Homecoming dance. We treat her like a barbie doll so there will be lots of grooming going on. Josh, I promise I will post a picture for you...she's hot. I'm the official Make Up artist and fashion consultant so I have to go to the hair salon followed by MAC than back home to make sure everything works out with the dress than follow them for pictures...but hey once they are off we are going to a cool1: with lots of alcohol so I excited.

I didn't do any of this for my Homecoming. I wasn't formal at all...in fact only the band geeks would go It was just another night to hang in a parking lot and drink wine coolers for us cool people...with poofy sleeves...and big hair

I'll check in tomorrow.

PS: We won't be in full pirate costume for dinner but we will be wearing our DCL Pirate Night shirts and pirate Mickey Ears
