Here's a question for everyone:
If you work outside the home, what do you do?
I dont' work outside the home as my office is in my home. But I have my own Public Relations and Writing consultancy. Started my own business about 2 years ago (on the 17th of this month) after 25 years of corporate drudgery. Best thing I ever did.
You know Kim... I'm like a little older than you. If I show you my high school photos then that will become quite obvious..
(curly mullet hair)
I'm a band geek, too! Marching band, symphany, 2nd chair clarinet. I never challenged for 1st chair because I didn't want to sit on the end.(believe it or not, there was a time I hated drawing attention to myself).
I have found very few people who work for the Government know what they do............Hey, it's a Government job, don't think I really have to know to much about what I do
Of course you're going to post that picture later huh...?
There was a really bad ice storm the first year I moved here, 1997. A lot of people in Omaha didn't have power for a week! It's not that it never gets cold or storms, it's just that it's so much less than what I experienced "up north".
I could -- but you'd never know it's me! We're all wearing sunglasses and our faces are completely covered!!!
OMG!!! I had a mullet in my HS graduation picture! And I found a pic from a few years later where I had a permed mullet!![]()
Mel-I don't know how old you are; but you look VERY young in your picture.
Yep... that's my graduation picture. Permed mullet. It was all the rage...![]()
Well, the money we spent on perms now goes to hair color. . .![]()

I've got this link to Virgin Island's cruise ship info.
http://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/cruiseship/
Maybe that helps!!
Hey, I'm going to post something that actually pertains to the cruise:
What's the link for which ships tender & which ships dock @ St. Thomas, and how soon will we know about our cruise's fate??
Also -- anyone who has last year's Navigators (from our cruise) -- anyone notice the typo on the front page of Thursday's Navigator?? Maybe I could get a job proofreading on board. . .![]()
