Judys right! We need to get all our coordinating done or we'll be up the caribbean without a paddle!

Btw, Jeff...I can't believe you didn't know where the desk was....we were all standing right next to it at the indoor sailaway party, at least I think so. I remember everyone crowding around that tree.

Time to get my pic o' the day up and running. This kind of obsessive photojournalism cannot be rivalled--I documented EVERYTHING. I'll hang my head low. I'm sure none of the disney sites have this pic.

LOL love the pic. And I was just being dense about the desk because Shell used a fancy word to describe it. :rotfl2:

Ya never know, Melanie! I think that one was just outside the bar, so it's terribly convenient after a few mojitos! :rolleyes1

Good point! I've just been doing some figuring and am hoping to do some flounders reservations for 2 of the nights so that Mommy & Daddy get that opportunity! I'm thinking Monday & Thursday nights for our attempts at being grown-ups.

When is it we (castaway club people) can make reservations? Is it after midnight on Friday (tomorrow) night? or Saturday?

I am so glad to have crazy for Disney people to talk with...no one gets Judy and me when we bust into Dis talk. Everyone asks if we talk about Mickey all the time...uh, YEAH! :lmao:

I want to hear all about the Dis Fairytale wedding. Judy and I are going to retire and be Disney wedding planners one day. LOVE the carriage. ..was it spectacular?

Judy called DCL and they told us that we could book online Sunday at 3 AM EST. S:banana: o, of course, we're probably going to meet for booking and eat an early breakfast. We'll toast the cruise with toast! :rotfl2:

I wish I had a friend like that with a similar obsession. My friend here at works humors me and listens to it all. Sometimes she laughs though when I bring up cruise stuff out of the blue in a conversation.

If you've ever seen the HBO show, Big Love, you can imagine how we kid my DH that we are sister-wives! :lmao: :lmao: The DD's even cut up about it, although it took them a while...

Yes, having a Mickey buddy is the best...one of us is always in a great mood! All we have to do is start talking about the next trip, and, well, you know...

Yes is was spectacular. At the time they didn't have the wedding chapel built yet so we got married in a rose garden at the Yacht Club then we took the carriage to the back gates of Epcot and took pictures all around the area including the beach. Then for our reception we had the back room of 1900 Park Fare reserved for brunch so I was able to get my pictures taken with Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. At first our families didn't think it was a good idea but after planning our original wedding and realizing there was no way we could afford to invite the 250 people that "just had to be invited" we said let's just get married at disney:love: . I was the best thing we could have done and our families loved it.

Great picture!!!

Jess & I also had time to admire the Beat Street restrooms (we may have even peeked in the guys' room. . .:rolleyes1 ) during Pirate Night when the PGThree were in Diversions watching Illini basketball and the rest of the ship was getting ready for the Pirate Party!!!

The things we do for entertainment!:rotfl:

Wow, Christine...sounds like such a magical wedding! How many guests did you have??? Please post your Chip and Dale wedding photo! Then, I'll get my Fairytale Furrytale fix!:lmao: :lmao: Sarah and I love the chipmunks!

Thanks for sharing the wedding photos and story. Riding in the carriage must have made you feel like a true princess. What a great experience!

Pics of restrooms....hmmm....watch out guys!!

I ALMOST had a picture of the day today. I looked out my kitchen windows and saw a hummingbird. I quickly grabbed the camera to take some pics. As I was focusing, the hummingbird zips over to a monarch butterfly that was resting on a leaf. It must have thought the butterfly was a flower because it flies right up to it and they immediately get into a fight. I am clicking away on the camera thinking "oh my god, this is amazing!'. They each go their separate ways and I can't move my fingers quick enough to view the pictures on the camera screen. Then it happens....I get the message "NO CF CARD" and I almost cried. duh!! Jason was with me watching the whole thing and then he practically yells at me for not having the card in the camera. Just what I need...a lecture from a 6 year old about being stupid!!

      That would have been such a cool set of pictures!

Hello fellow ship mates . My family and I will be joining you all in November, very excited . Now my question , is it cheaper to book a Disney resort on the ship ,or just book it now. We plan on going to the world for 4 days after the cruise . thanks the Mcgills

Welcome Gto Guy and Family~~~~

I don't think you can book the World on the cruise, never heard anyone doing it at least. Have you checked Mousesavers.com for rates, etc. ? You will get a big welcome from all of so be sure to let us know all about your family and if you dare.... join the Nanaheads and get ready to celebrate the Magic!!!!
We as a group have lots of information, opinions, and yes... obsessions, so if you are new to cruising Disney, ask away! There is NOTHING we would rather talk about, right everybody????
I look forward to hearing from you.....

Welcome gto guy!! Glad to have you on board.

Our group is staying four days at Disney after the cruise too! We went ahead and booked everything now and I would suggest doing the same. The Saturday that the cruise returns to the port is the same Saturday that Regis and Kelly tape the Christmas parade that airs Christmas morning. A cast member said the Magic Kingdom is crazy busy that Saturday but the other parks will be fine. I would book at least a room only reservation now and you can turn it into a package as you get closer to the trip. That's what we did since we are still trying to decide if we want to get the dining plan or not.

Ok, so I have to ask...do you have a "goat"? My hubby drove a GTO when we first dated back in the early 80's and he sometimes wishes he still had it.

Welcome fellow Iowan! I don't think you can book on ship. I think you'd definitely want to book ahead of time! The only thing I think is discounted on the ship is you can book a future cruise.

:welcome: GTO :welcome:

Glad to have you with us!!!:thumbsup2
I agree with the others, i have never heard of anyone booking a resort on board.

Ok, we have a cruise list of all of us so you can get to know us better without reading ALL the posts here. Woogal (shell) is in charge of it. I'm sure she will be in touch about it soon so we can get you and your family added to it.
Also we are having a meet the first day at 2:45 p.m. in the Promenade lounge to meet. Many of us have cruised together last year and this worked great for us. It really is fun to put faces with names from the board.
And we have an official banana head t-shirt that we have been buying to wear the first day. it makes it easier to spot everyone around the terminal and ship to get aquainted.
Shell will give you the site to order that too. I hope you will joln us by getting the t-shirts too. Last year I think there were about 50 of us running around with the shirts on and it was great fun!!
WE starting meeting in the terminal before boarding because of the shirts!!:goodvibes

I hope you will post your first name and the names of your family so we know what to call you:confused3

I am looking forward to meeting you in just a few short weeks!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Please ask any questions you may have, we are happy to help!!:yay:
