I just asked my son if he could find the hidden Mickey and he grinned and pointed to Jeff's head and the ship's stacks!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

The funny part is that when you meet me, you'll see that I kind of have naturally Mickey Mouse ears of my own! :lmao:

Glad it's not just me.... I was starting to think I'd been hanging out on these boards WAY too much!!!:lmao:

A follow up to my cruise questions from the other day. If you have to book activiites like the Wine tasting and Tea with Alice while on board..how do you go about doing that? On the first day? And if so, where? Same place as where you book Palo if you haven't done so online? We were lucky on the last cruise to have upgraded to concierge and they took care of that for us. Since we won't likely get a chance to do that again, I have no idea how you book this stuff. Also, how do you know in advance the schedule for these kinds of activities - or don't you? Advice?

I know this may sound ridiculous, but re Orient Beach in STM, we'd love to go but don't want to have to have any serious talks with DD8 about the nudity, etc. Topless is not a problem to talk about as she is already aware that's how most of the world goes to the beach..but as for full nudity... Wondering about opinions here from those who have been. Should we do it or go back to our original plan to hit a beach on the Dutch side...

Hey Jeff... You kind of look like Mickey with the ship's stacks behind your head!!:rotfl:

I thought the same thing when I looked at the picture

Been a busy day. I had to go to the dentist:scared1: first thing this morning because I had a toothache. Forturnately, I don't have to get root canal...yet:scared1: but it appears a nerve is dying and I might have to get root canal:scared1: in the near future:scared1: Can you tell I am scared to death of the dentist:scared1:. I have been very blessed and have only had two cavities in my life and have never had to have a tooth pulled...It sucks getting old:sad2:

OK enough about the dentist:scared1: ...here's my picture of the day (sorry no cool hidden mickeys):

The famous shouffle...it was OK but not the best dessert I have ever had:confused:

Jeff,
tough choice there for the beaches. I know you will do what you feel is right for your DD, but I wouldnt have had the nerve to take my young kids there. I wouldnt be ready for all the questions to follow.:headache:
My kids had very loud voices and would of said something innocently that would of embarassed me to death, i just know it!! They did that enough without being exposed to a clothing optional beach. But that was just my kids. You may be ready for all those questions, Good luck!!;)

sorry I dont know about the signing up for wine tasting or tea with alice. Hopefully someone here will know. But if nobody knows, post the question on the discussion forum page and I'll bet you get several answers right away. That is what I do and I always get help.:thumbsup2

I made tacos for dinner tonight, of course Greg is late but they are easy to keep warm. Pixie is up and running around, almost 100% already. I sure wish I could recover that fast:woohoo:

catch ya later,

kathy

Wendy- That's a cool photo. I've seen a lot of "hidden mickey" photos on here but that's by far the best one I've seen so far.

Sharon- No kindergartener this year but probably next year! I think it will be toughest when my youngest goes though! He's always going to be my baby.:sad1:

Kathy- We were awoken early this morning too by our 4 yo who asked to "watch a movie" at 2 a.m. He was wide awake! Not sure WHAT that was about!!:confused3

Photo of the day:
Did someone mention dancing?
Here's the story. Right after we boarded the Wonder we went to get our dining reservations changed. While we were doing that DS who was 2.5 at the time jumped up on stage and started dancing for everyone in the room.

Great photos today.... and I'll probably get ridiculed for this but Melanie, is that spot in the upper left hand an explainable thing? (sorry, I'm into the spooky stuff and it looks a lot like what some would call an "orb"). Everyones allowed to have a hobby (even Woo has accepted my weirdness, so be tolerant).

Mutt,
if you like spooky photos you should see some peter took on a ghost walk at a small town here in Florida. there are orbs, faces in windows, where there wasnt anybody:confused3 all kinds of weird stuff:scared1: :scared1: He didnt know any of it was there until later when he looked at his photos. they went back the next day to look at windows to make sure there was a manequin in the windows and such, there wasnt. Pretty cool.

Ok...non-weird pic of the day....Woo on the last day of our vacation...waiting for our plane outside of Orlando airport.

I'd love to see those, Kathy...see if you can "scare" up a few. (bad, bad mutt) Honest, though....I love examining those things...that and I dont think I've ever seen a pic of Peter.

pluto:

i'll ask Peter to download them so I can send ya a few. He has Friday off, maybe I an get them then. I see if I can find a cruise photo of him too.

Kathy

Bill,
here is a pic of Peter and his friend Catherine. they were on our cruise last November. You probably saw him around the ship without knowing it.

sorry it's kind of dark.

Jeff: Just checked the Navigators. In order to sign up for any of the tastings (beer, wine, martini, tequila), you simply "pre-book" at Guest Services and they give you a ticket to get in. I'm pretty sure I just signed up for it the morning of the event. As for me, I'm planning on doing the martini tasting again and will probably try the tequila. You know, it's just for the research :rolleyes1

I'm going to assume that Tea with Wendy (was it Wendy or Alice? I thought it was Wendy) is done basically the same way.

Here's Bill tying his shoe on St. Maarten

Good gracious! You guys have been busy...I swear, you are hilarious! Let me start by saying that I ADORE the Mickey office.  Judy and I are so jealous.

The great Mickey cloud pic is more than I can take...on a workday. I love a dancing baby!!! See how the spirit moves???? My mom's favorite story is when she lost me at six years old in Disneyland. Of course, I have the pics of me playing the drums on stage with the Native Americans, proudly wearing my first pair of mouse ears...see how it starts???

I'm here with Sarah and Rachel...we ate dinner, but Ken is still not home...he went in at 5 this morning...good times.:confused3

Rachel and I are fighting over the hot caramel corn...she has NO idea what she's in for. Don't get in the way of my sweets, now. Picture the ninja nana here!

I guess when Sarah goes to gymnastics tomorrow, she'll have to do a banana split!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kathy, sounds like things are looking up...hang in there.:thumbsup2

First we are not fighting Robin eating the whole dag-on bowl!!!...anyway..haha Sarah will have to do her banana spilt.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: to Robin..

ummm I certain am in love with that dancing baby!!..thats great!:thumbsup2

Soo excited for the cruise and we still have another like 3 months!!!..crazy yet good stuff:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: ...be back tomorrow probably...peaceout:hippie:

Thanks about the office! I, too, adore it. I work from home and my previous office was in our living room. When we moved Jason upstairs this spring I immediately took over his bedroom as my new work space. I had been planning it for months so I had plenty of time to order and accumulate fun things from disneyshopping. It makes going to work easier when it's in a fun space. :)

The hidden mickey clouds and the dancing baby both made me smile today. Thanks for sharing! I wondered about the mysterious circle on the stage too.

You know normally I would photoshop something like that (I work in the field so I'm a little obsessive that way) but I was too busy or lazy or both. I'm sure my photographer husband would come up with an explanation for it, but yours is a lot more fun! Maybe it is the Wonder Ghost!

You know I didn't get to a Disney Park until I was 30. I cried when I saw the sign I was so excited. My kids are so spoiled!

Maybe it was the ghost of a cruise ship dancer inspiring my child.

We have a running joke around here that I expect DS#1 to grow up to be a "ballroom dancer on a cruise ship" because that way Mommy will get free cruises. We have a neighbor whose son does just that and she got to go on a World Cruise a couple years ago. Maybe he heard me say that one too many times?

DS#2 is going to be an NFL football player.

Thanks Shell. Silly question. Where is Guest Services? Is that the "front desk?" :rotfl2: I know, I'm clueless.

I'm going to do Wine and Martini. Not a tequila fan..and beer I can take or leave.

I'm not sure who tea is with. I think it's with Alice now..but on our August cruise last year it was with Wendy (or maybe the other way around).

Happy Wednesday night. I'm working on 4 major stress projects - it's like working for a living again. Looking forward to getting at least one of them off my plate tomorrow. But one is going to linger right up until the banana meeting in Michigan. Shell, you still in for that?
