It's a beautiful day here too Cheri! I'm going to take my 3 mile walk at lunch today. (It rained yesterday).

I love this time of year. I wish I was Guido though and not in this air conditioned office. Oh to live the life of Guido....

I haven't posted a photo of the day in a while so I'm going to find one in a little bit and post it.

Gppd Morning Everyone! Another beautiful day in Michigan...and it's October. They are predicting 88 for Saturday!

I was too tired to watch DWTS last night. I'll have to check online.

Melanie, you asked about WDW the first week of December. After Thanksgiving weekend and the first two weeks of December are the weeks we've have gone to WDW for 20 years, it's wonderful. Last year was busier than usual (maybe everybody is figuring out what a good time it is!). The weather is perfect, 70s - low 80s and no rain. Skylar is now entering the upper grades and since we're cruising we won't be able to spend as much time there during this time. Can you believe I asked the boys which one they would rather do (WDW or cruise) and they chose the cruise!

Finally back from the deathmarch. I dont wanna play healty anymore.....grrrr.

When I'm off like this, I usually just make a big pot of soup and have it for lunches. Its wedding soup this time.....think I'm gonna go have a bowl and see how I did. I might even give Guido a lil bowl of it... he likes soup ('specially dogfoodjuice soup)

And what about MLK weekend? Is it bad all weekend or just on the holiday itself?

Thanks in advance. I think I'm going to book air today even though it's much more than I'd like to spend.

We went in 2004 during the MLK weekend...we never noticed any real crowds anywhere...we went to both Universal and WDW for 10 days...the most was about a 15 minute wait.

It was a little cool but overall I thought it was a great time to go.

Dawn she is beautiful! We were just looking at that cake yesterday at the grocery store! Alicia noticed it and went crazy for it.

Thanks for the info about December...we have always wanted to visit then and decided to spend a few days thier after the cruise. I haven't been to the parks when they have been real busy so I hoping the crowd will be about the same...we usually wait no more then 15 minutes for a ride...we did go once in Sept however and the waits were alot longer then in Jan or May upwards to an hour for a ride...

MLK isnt too bad but any saturday at MK is crowded and of course any 3 day weekend will be a little extra crowded.
On Easter the least crowded park is Epcot. In fact it is always the least crowded unless they have a festival going on like now.
I agree with dawn, the first couple of weeks of December are great. not too crowded, decorations are up and the weather is usually pretty good.

the photos are AWESOME!!! She is adorable!!! A few more years and she will be fighting the boys off!! Love the theme! She is starting out right in life, you cant go wrong with Disney.

Why do you wanna make me wanna cry with those pics... I can actually feel the decking underneath my feet.... that round at the bottom of the staircase near the Mickey pool.... walking through the labarynth of deck chairs and seperators on deck10...seeing the crew painting and shellacing on deck 4....and I can still feel the door handles of almost everywhere...the verandah door..the door to the stateroom.....<sniff> <sniff> 53...too many days....53...too ma-

Oh the humanity..... As I sit here with the sun shining in my window, I sit and LONGINGLY look @ that picture. Your right Mutt, can feel the deck under my feet (or is that the cheeto I dropped?) I can smell the ocean breeze, while I sit patiently waiting for the Cabana Boy to come around and ask I want something to drink. Then my DS son finds me and drips all over me while asking if he can go to the Arcade. Gosh there went the daydream. Anyway great picture. Post more of them.

Mutt, yuckie on the dog food whatsitsname. My dogs would love you. You will have to come visit.

TTYL. Love ya all, only 50 short more days until I leave Misery (missouri) and feel the warmth and the smell of the ocean as I pass over the bridges leading into Cape Canaveral. I always have to roll the window down and smell, even if it does wake the kids up.
