Kathy, I am trying to convince Mike to do a trip to Disney at MArdi Gras, whih is in February. Maybe we can meet and have lunch, hopefully Pat and steve will be free. I'll keep you updated.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one having problems booking last night. I, too, was freaking out because I kept getting the message about the trip not being paid in full or a problem with one of the birthdates. I eventually gave up and tried to go to sleep but that was impossible. My mind kept racing thinking about all the things that may have gone with our reservation to prevent me from being able to book. So I go back online this morning and I get right in and everything I wanted for Palo's is not available. grrrrr.
I ended up with Sunday night from 6-8. I was so frustrated that I didn't even attempt booking any excursions or spa treatments.

I'm back...yes I was recoving from the party. Wow, just can't drink like I used to The Jello Shots do me in every time...or was it the bottle of Grey Goose...can't really remember. I haven't seen the pictures yet, not really sure I want too. I did really wanted to post yesterday but the thought of lifting my head off the pillow for more than 2 mintues was just too much for me to bear. I literally lost a whole day. Note to self: Take it easy on the cruise...I am not 21 anymore

Thanks for your comments on the cupcakes. It really was a lot of work and I'll tell ya if it still wasn't 100 degrees here they might not have melted and been eaten by ants I was so mad.

Robin, I would be happy to share any tips I know about fondant with Sarah. I'm still just learning myself but I have learned a few things each time I've worked with. It's not as easy as it looks on TV.

OK, that's it for now...have to go back to work.

I almost forgot to remember again...........Last night, everytime I went to book something- everyone I'm linked to for dinner would come up, so I just went ahead and booked us all together for everything. That way I knew I wouldn't be lonely....................

That sounds great Wendy. we go a lot in the cooler months. Be sure and tell Pat too so she will keep it in mind until you have an exact date. I do know that we would have to come on a weekend, not a weekday due to gregs work schedule, so try to have one weekend if you can.

It's about 68 and misty outside. Kathy, please don't wish for winter too loudly...just ask for cooler weather for you. I HATE winter! I'd be down there with you if I could.

I was up at midnight also booking the St. Maarten 2 Flags excursion and the Castaway Getaway Package. I too could not get into Palo for brunch. I'm not interested in a lonely dinner. By the way, it's only for 1, would anyone care to have me join you at your table?

Boys are registered for the Oceaneer Lab.

What a headache! I FINALLY heard from the passport office (by mail) re: the boy's passports. They wanted a current certified copy of the guardianship papers. Went down to the probate court got them ($22) and overnighted them to NH ($17). Just got a call today that says now I need a paper from the court that says I can get them a passport! Called and had to make an appointment for next Thursday! ($40 each for the order) and another ($11 each) for certified copies. But they couldn't have told me this back in APRIL. I wouldn't even had to go through this if they hadn't of changed the rules AGAIN! But now I have tons of money wrapped up in this paperwork all for a vacation. For crying out loud, how many grandparents have guardianship of their grandchildren now. LOTS! Thanks for letting me vent. GRRRRRR. I'm trying not to worry about it because I can still just have their mother sign the minor authorization. I hope everyone is having a better day than me!

Kim, I've checked into the DVC. In my opinion, it depends on how much you want to travel and where. If you only can vacation 1 or 2 weeks a year and want to go somewhere other than WDW. For me, I travel for lengths of time and probably about 4 times of the year. I can go to WDW cheaper with the deals the annual passholder gives me. For example, last November (the cheapest so far) we stayed at the Music for $39/night! They have discounts on tickets, things like Disney Quest or La Nouba, and on all different resorts...not just the value. This last trip I paid $69 for the value and $94 for the moderate. Saratoga Springs has discounts right now for a studio for $169 (discount applies for 1-and 2-bedroom also) and if you stay 2 nights you get a $100 dining card.

Christine, welcome back to the land of the living...hate those self-induced "viruses," don't we?

It's BEAUTIFUL but HOT here after the non-storm event. Three drops of rain and a little wind...nothing.

For all of you who need to lose 12 pounds, I'm with you. I think the key is actually doing something healthy, though. I do feel somewhat guilty about the milkshakes DH got for DD and me last night.

I can't get pics of the day at work, so every day, Judy and I have to go home and go back through so we can get our fixes. I am READY to go NOW! I am so impatient about this and all Dis trips...it's a sickness.

Dawn-I would be happy to share my table at Palo with you..........PM me and see if we can work it out. I agree about the PH discounts. That's what we've always done in the past as well. It's just the discounts are getting fewer and far between plus you get $100 off the PH with the DVC membership and can always rent your points out. It makes my head hurt really..............

Oh Please, of course they are...they have all that milk and calcium, and...and...all that milk and calcium. Oh and put in some strawberries, bananas, peaches just think a daily dose of fruit! Let's see what else can we do to make it healthy? Oh I know, count the carbs and NOT the calories!

Re: DVC

We bought BCV from a reseller a few years ago and it has worked great for us. We usually go to WDW a couple of times a year and we have just enough points for one of those trips. Allows us to experience other hotels but to also have one week "free." We also took advantage of the discount on the AP this year which gave us further discount room opportunities. Thinking about adding on another 100 or 150 points...but haven't come to any conclusion yet. If we find a resale that is BCV in the same usage month...we probably will do so. But not killing ourselves to find it....yet.

Okay, guys, Judy and I are enjoying drinks on my couch. She's already called DCL twice as we are in full blown Disney mode! After speaking to an IDIOT CM, Judy hung up and called right back. The first girl said that formal night was "whenever you're in Lumiere'S. That's when we said, "BAIL!"

So, Judy proved to me that Pirate Night is, indeed, St. Maarten night. Okay, sue me...I must have been on the Crown Royal that night!

Judy took the day off, so picture me scowling , Rachel (new braces) singing, and Sarah is doing homework. Yep, Josh, high school is busting her! She said to tell everyone that she'll be back soon, though!

Christine...I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THE CUPCAKES WERE ANTIFIED! I know you could have died. I'm sure that's the only reason you drank. I totally understand, my sister.
