The price has come down EVEN MORE to $134 per person. We just booked it! The rental car rates are pretty reasonable.

I guess there are some advantages to the slowing economy.

We are at the Beach Club. It is beautiful. It is absolutely beautiful weather.

My son saw the pool at the BC and now we have to go out and buy a shovel and pail. He is so excited.

The internet in our room was barely working. It was making me crazy.

We ended up spending about 2 hours in the room this afternoon while DS napped. He had a completely melt down at the pool. He wanted to play in the sand, but said that he couldn't walk on it. He was much better after a nap. Trying to get to bed for an early morning and the Studios.

I had a great time. Sorry I didn't meet anyone from the thread.

My son went to the club after much screaming. Then he didn't want to leave after we finished at Palo.

Did anyone rebook on board? They told me the person was sick that handled that, but if I filled out the form someone would call me. Anyone else hear that?

We had a good time as well. Seems like it went by WAY too quickly. Highlights for us were the 5K on Castaway, spa treatments (first time for me and DH -- and DH even went twice!!!!), playing bingo, and the dolphin meet (but COLD!).

We did get a quote for a 2009 cruise but it was too costly. I think it's time for this family to explore other cruise lines. It's impossible for us to book way far in advance, and they don't open the military discounts until the last minute and rarely when I can pull DSs out of school. Plus, I'm ready to do something a little different.

We had a nice time too, but wished the weather had been better. I think we'll stick with the longer cruises. This one just went by way too fast. Having to pack up after just 3 days was just painful! TCB, keep an eye out for the cat 12 discounts. Some are quite good.
