FishExtenders: I volunteer to organize this!
All you need is litle knicknacks to put it in the extenders for each person in the cabin like magnets, candy, disney cute things, pencils, etc,
Go to the dollar store. You have to go to each stateroom like a scavenger hunt to drop off the items in the extenders.
I just need a list of participants and their staterooms and how many adults and kids in each room.

(we also have a cabin for DMIL which is why we have 3 adults -- but she's not getting get our Fish Extender!)

What time is everyone heading over to the port next Sunday? DCL tells me that we'll be able to board between 12 and 1. Is that accurate, or will they really let people begin boarding earlier? Anyone have experience with this? I know we've discussed before, but my memory fails me (old age)! Thanks!

Oh, and I just cancelled my secret porthole room for the Eastern T-giving cruise 2010. Not sure when it will show up in inventory, but it will be there at some point if anyone wants to grab it.

The terminal opens at 10, then they usually let folks on around 11:30. We'll probably leave the hotel around 10ish (it's only a 5 minute drive), DH will drop us and the luggage off, go park the car, and take the shuttle back. Since our dining was already changed and Palo is taken care of, I don't feel the need to be first in line.

We're at the Country Inn and Suites -- I recall that someone else was staying there as well?

Yes, we're staying there as well. Think I'll plan on leaving the hotel for the terminal around 11:00.

Looks like DCL isn't doing the signed pillowcases!!!!! Look what I saw on another thread:

Oh, that pillowcase thing does not make my very happy. I guess I will bring it anyway and see what happens. I did a bag too, but maybe I will just get that one signed in the park before we get on the ship. I only want the Fab 5 on the bag.

I think we are going to try to get there around noon. Looks like the weather is going to be a little cold for swimming.

Most of the white is gone now. If we were 2 hours north that would not be the case.

I hope you have a safe trip tomorrow. We are not leaving until Friday. We had a much better coating of snow this morning. Hopefully our flight on Friday will not be delayed.

I read reports of people being able to do the pillowcases so I am going to give it a try. I hope it works out because I spent a lot of time making my pillowcase.

Sorry I can't do the FE. I don't have one and there is no time to make one. I am already trying to finish a Christmas themed Mickey bag in time. If I start another project than involves me going to Joann's fabric my DH is not going to be happy. I will try yo bring some stuff and fill the FEs with a couple surprises.

So, no other takers for the FE??? Nena - if it's only the two of us, I don't think I'm going to bother with to pack the FE.

It is really cold here. I am right on the Space Coast...maybe 20 minutes from the port. I think its going to be really cold on Sunday I hope not though! I just hope it warms up in Nassau and Castaway Cay. I am so excited. So are we all meeting at 2:30 by the Mickey pool? Deck 9 or 10

I will have to pass this time. We are leaving tomorrow and I won't have time to get anything together, plus I don't have a FE made. Sorry, I was really wanting to do that.

If it is warm enough I am sure my son will be in the pool at 2:30. If not, I might take him to the kids club. I really want him to get used to the club during the open family hours.

Well, we moved forward our date and we are flying out tomorrow. We are staying an extra day at the BC. I hope it warms up.

Just saw a direct flight from here via Air Tran for $650 for all 4 of us. We may opt to fly instead of drive -- hard to pass up a price like that!

That's good news about the flights! We are headed off tomorrow after school. The boys are packed, snacks and goodies are packed, stuff for the car is ready to go. Now to pack my clothes (but I've already picked out outfits, which involves many wardrobe changes) this evening. Just this morning, DH says, "huh, I guess I should pack something." Did he think the packing fairy was going to do this for him??? (He travels a lot with his job, and NO, I don't pack for him then!!!!) But he's off tomorrow, so no stress.

My DH is the packer of the family. He makes me crazy. He wants to know what we are taking a week before we leave. We are all packed and are leaving tonight. I was able to add another night on the front of out BCV reservation on points yesterday. I was pretty amazed.

The price has come down EVEN MORE to $134 per person. We just booked it! The rental car rates are pretty reasonable.
