DisneyFans, I am glad your son is doing well. We will still be thinking of you.

It's been cold here. No pool this week, unless it is in the inside pool. I was just at DL but I can't stop myself from wanted to go to DW. I know I really do not like DW in the summer, but I really need to get away. It doesn't help that my friend that lives in Floriday took her 9 month old to DW for the first time. Now she is addicted too. She wants someone to come down and go with her.

It was 56 yesterday in the middle of the day. It is suppose to get up to a blazing 65 today.

Unfortunately since I work it is hard just to take off. I would love to. My son really wants to go on the Toy Story ride. We have a picture from the DVC magazine and he keeps picking it up and say "I want to go there".

Your son is probably tired from all the tests too. I was a sick kid and I spent a lot of time in the hospital. I am so glad he was able to play more.

I told her to wait but she said it was driving them crazy and are going to use the money and plan another trip closer to home here were they don't have to fly anywhere. I said I could understand. The air now for us even leaving 4 days before the crusie is something like $400+ per person!! Yuck!! And she can't see paying $2000+ for air alone for their family.

Too bad your friend's cancelled. Southwest's schedule is coming out on the 26th. Sometimes that alone will cause a shift in prices. I am going to be very nervous waiting on Thursday morning. I can't wait to have my flight planned. I want to fly Southwest now just so I don't have to pay to check my bags. We do pretty good, but we usually check 4 bags.

Speaking of airfares, I saw a $315 fare on United direct from Dulles to St. Thomas at the end of July (Travelocity). When I went back the next day, it was gone! I'm on a wait list for the Westin on St John for next summer. I hope I can get a fare that cheap then!!

By the way, my dh was able to get out of jury duty so that we can go to Hilton Head in July as planned - phew!

Disney Fans, glad your son is doing well - hope it continues. Did they check for low blood sugar and all that?

I'm gonna check the Southwest fares on the 26th also, but unless they're fabulous beyond belief, we'll probably just drive. I kinda like having my car at WDW.

Southwest is making me mad today. I have booked the flight down and back. I was not able to use the free ticket on the way back, but that is ok. Now I am trying to book my companion pass and it will not let me do it online. I have been on hold with Southwest for over 30 minutes. I just want it done with. I ended up paying $550 for the return flight for 2 of us and my husband should be free if I can ever get it booked.

Well, I just checked the fares - not good enough for me. Looks like we'll be driving . . . again!!

Well, we are all booked. It ended up being $569 + one free ticket total. Not too bad for three people.

I am glad I booked the Beach Club for Friday night before the cruise because there were no frequent flier tickets available on Saturday. We are getting in earlier than I expected on Friday. Southwest flight times were totally different then they were before the new schedule.

We have decided to keep our car the whole time. I hope prices for parking don't go up at the port. I think $15/day is a lot as it is.

We got SW booked today too. It was still so much more than we paid in January. I suppose that's to be expected, but it's hard to do two coast-to-coast in one year. Wow! What a whiner. I just need to be grateful!!!!

We get in 6:00 Sat. night and will stay w/ my brother.

I got ADR's finally the other day. We're going to Jiko, Tony's, Le Chefs de France, Rose & Crown so far. I have one more table service to book.

Are we supposed to be getting cruise info soon (I remember hearing something about at 160 days out)?

I'm getting so excited now that I'm doing more planning. I also got put on the waitlist for a 1-bedroom at Beach Club. We're in a studio at AKV for now, but I'd love a 1-bedroom.

I don't think you get your cruise packet until a couple weeks before. I would be totally excited to get something.

My son started snorkeling yesterday. I was amazed that he could do it. He had his head under the water for over 5 minutes. This means we will have to bring snorkel equipment with us.

Does anyone know if they let you have pool noddles at the Beach Club pool? I was thinking about getting some when we get to Orlando and using them the week we are in Florida.

Yes, they do. As a matter of fact they sell them there (we always forget ours and have to buy them). You might want to call Beach Club to find out the price. I seem to remember them being pretty reasonable - shocking for Disney!

I checked air for SW and boy if we had it from Dallas we would be paying no different the AA?? I don't understand why SW doesn't have good deals from Dallas?? The only good deals I see from Dallas are to KCity, Austin and Huston.
But hope you all got good deals.

My DH has traveled a lot the past few years so since he is a AA- some kind of memeber ( I can't recall right now) we don't have to pay extra for any bads as long as we are all booked together. Which is a good thing!!

I think charging for extra for Disney dinning that early is not fair either. But what can we do.

My older DS ( age 8) has now joined a select soccer team and now we are doing that about 3 or 4 times a week. Crazy!! But he really seems to love it so far.
What is everyone up to July 4th weekend? Nothing much for us. Just going to take it easy, swim and cook out.

They were at the splash mountain ride and when her oldest son came off the ride thats when they told the family they he was sitting in the lucky sit!!
