If someone compiles a list that would be great. Otherwise, I'm fine with walking the halls. I already have things organized and hope to have everyone's stateroom numbers in a few weeks.:cool1: I plan to have bags already addressed with stateroom numbers and names for my FE gifts. I'm way too organized and probably a little anal.:lmao: I do see where knowing the general area of the staterooms would be helpful though.

The lynx is still missing. They bought Simba after they gave away their bobcat because it was too wild. I don't understand why people think they need to own a wild animal. :sad2:

And I thought Pit Bulls were bad. A lynx and an 8yo. This ---> :scared1: ,----- doesn't even come close.

I guess keep the pets and the children indoors eventually that thing is going to get hungry.

you are organized!!!! I admit we just have a big bag and inside it smaller bags with girl gifts, boy gifts, and adult gifts. And then we make several deliveries during the week so there is constantly a random flow of stuff. But If I could be as organized as you wow!!! I am envy you on that one.

I will just post my list that I am making for myself and it will be free for the taking.

That sounds great! I hadn't thought about knowing exactly where the rooms are. I had thought about making sure I had cabin numbers on everything, but not location. You learn something new here on the DIS every day!:goodvibes Having a map of the rooms would be quite helpful! I'll be adding that to my packing list (that I haven't started yet).

Susan, speaking of packing.....I think I am going to try and start packing soon. I'm in the process of putting away summer clothes and taking out winter. So I think I'll just put the summer clothes that I'm taking with me on the cruise, right into the suitcase. It will be here sooner that we think, I need to get myself organized.

Teresa,

That sounds like a great idea! I should also do that. Maybe then I wouldn't have to try everything on again before I pack it in November.;) I usually have my packing list started by now so that I can add things as the trip gets closer, but I haven't written one thing down. They are all stored in my head, and that is scary!:rotfl: I guess with about six weeks left to go, I had better start actually writing things down or I may end up on this cruise without something (like kids). I have lots of good intentions but just haven't really acted on any of them yet. I work better under pressure.:)

Michelle--The thread this morning on the main board about the days and the ports made me wonder if you had heard anything back about when pirate night was.

I can compile a list organized by decks if people want. I can make it up fancy with graphics and then convert it to .jpeg or .pdf for easy viewing. We also have a color copier at work so I can make a few extra copies to bring if you would all like.

The same with the TurkeyGang sign that Zandy made. If people need I can color copy and laminate some of those and bring them. That way people do not need to get magnetic paper.

I have the graphics programs to make what you described, but not sure if I have time.

I did already take the info from the website and group it by deck and color coded girls and boys because I am silly like that. I did not think to group all the aft, forward, and mid ship. Chuck is way more organized then I am.

The list would be a great help! Thank you.

Sandy - That cat is huge! Wild animals should stay wild. If people want a cat, rescue one from a Humane Society for Pete's sake. I hope they find it soon.
All of the staterooms linked to us are GTY so I can post those when we get it in a few weeks.

Well I am off to do a lot of stuff today in an effort to organize myself.

The list would be a great help! Thank you.

Sandy - That cat is a beautiful animal but wild animals should stay wild. If people want a cat, rescue one from a Humane Society for Pete's sake. I hope they find it soon.

Susan/Teresa - My weekend plans include doing my summer/winter clothes switch as well. On Sunday I'm going to the pumpkin farm! I have Disney stencils for carving and I'm going to do at least 1 this year. I may "hire" my DS and his crazy buddies to do some too.

Forgot to ask -
Anyone doing a trans-Atlantic crossing, Med. cruise or N. Europe ports cruise?
I'll be booking as soon as I win that lottery!

I did a Pirates pumpkin a couple years ago, let me dig around in Photobucket and see if I can find it. It was great fun. Found the picture, the one is of the Black Pearl and the other of the logo.

It would take the lottery to do those. I loved the thread on the main board, "Is Disney smoking crack or what?" That sums it up for me.

We're thinking 2010 but either regular DCL or RCCL. We're thinking of going in either Feb/March or November. I think the teens would like to try RCCL at least once. I'm not sure the Oasis is for me, it looks too big. Maybe one of the Freedom class ships.

I believe Pirate's Night will be Tuesday. Note that since Cozumel and grand Cayman are reversed on this trip, we will be leaving Cozumel aound 445 pm, which is much earlier than usual. However, my understanding is Pirate's will be Tuesday.

That's what Michelle PMed me. I called DCL this afternoon too and they said for the Thanksgiving and Christmas cruise it is on night four, which is Tuesday night. When I called in August they had said it would be night five, or Wednesday.

I'll update the website schedule. It pays to have inside info. :)

Stacie,

Since Pirate Night is on Tues, could you possibly switch my FE day to Monday or Tuesday? I have some pirate stuff to hand out, and don't want to deliver a day late.

Shell--
Not a problem, there are three people delivering on Wednesday, so that would still leave two.

DS took a super long nap this afternoon so I had a chance to update the website. If I forgot anything or made mistakes on anything let me know and I'll fix it.

I'm glad I have all of you...I was wrong, Travel Channel DCL is tomorrow (oops)

Stacie, Those pumpkins are great! You must have been the talk of the town! Did they take forever to do?

They didn't take too long. The key is to have good carving tools. I bought one of those kits that have the little saws and knives. DH got me an battery powered pumpkin carver last year but it didn't work as well. Do you have the tool that makes the little holes? Make LOTS and LOTS of little holes, it makes it much easier to cut it out, and make sure to cut things out in the order the instructions tell you to, we had to reattach a couple things with toothpicks in the end.

Stacie-that pumpkin does look great!! thanks for adding us to the list and not assigning us dates. I know that at least three of my group will deliver multiple times. Two others are "newbies" and they are unsure of how they shall tackle the FE thing.

I did email DCL just to double check before I got on here and I am copyng in what they sent:

Have a Magical Day!

Stacie-

Thank you for doing such a great job with the trip site and adding our info!! Like Michelle, we will be dropping off goodies in fish extenders throughout the cruise!! Mason loves going on a scavenger hunt and looking at all of the very creative fish extenders and dropping off loot!! :thumbsup2 Unfortunately for him he has the most crafty challenged mom that I know. As a result, his fish extender is thanks to ebay!!
