Hmmm...Are all these name changes just a cover for your career in the CIA?:lmao: or just changing the names to protect the innocent!! :rotfl:

Anyway, my question is when do we get our dinner rotation? I can't remember from last time if we knew ahead or just found out when we got to the ship? Thanks for the info.
Lorie

We find out as soon as we check in at the terminal. The dining rotation is typed on our "Keys to the World" cards.

Thank you Susan (DisneyPoor)! We'd like to add our family to the website. What do you need from us?

Our son is also into sports, including basketball. I read him your post and his response was "Cool". That's as excited as he get's:) http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
:)

I'm trying to PM you to give you the information, but for some reason I can't.:confused3 Maybe you need more posts??? I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else will know what's going on. If you can, PM me, and I'll PM you back with everything you need.:goodvibes Thanks!

Susan

Lorie -
I don't know if this will help you or not but Passporter states the following rotations;
All adults - day one:Lumiere's, day 2:Animator's Palate,day3:Parrot Cay
Young kids - day one:Animator's Palate, day 2:Parrot Cay, day3: Lumiere's
Older kids - day 1: Parrot Cay, day2:Lumiere's, day3: Animator's Palate

You can figure out the rotation according to Stacie's info but add additional days. So LAAPLAP would be for adults, APPLAPL would be for families with young kids, and PLLAPLA is for families with older kids. I don't have a clue what happens if you have kids of all ages.

Seadooken; Where are you?

mlemmons,
Just to catch you up to speed -
We are voting on date and time for our meet and greet on board. The choices are:
1. 3:00 on Sat prior to the boat drill and sail-a-way party
2. Sunday (AM or PM)
3.Monday (AM or PM)

Majority rules. The voting will end on Mon 9/2. Just post your choice on the thread and I will log in your vote.
I will also contact DCL after we have decided and get a room (and possibly refreshments if they will deliver) for the event!
We will also have a family grab bag at the meet and fish extender exchange during the trip.
Welcome aboard. :wave: :donald:
Judy

Hi Judy,

Count us in for 3:00. We will have livations in hand. I dont know how we did it, but we were able to get Palos Brunch on Monday. Tropical Storm Fay must have left a bit of luck behind:confused3

Ken - got you down for 3:00.
You were very lucky to get brunch. I was on the site at 12:15 and brunch was closed. I'm going to continue to check back. Hopefully they will open more ressies and if I don't get anything I will definitely be back on day 75 trying again.
Is Fay gone now? It seemed like she really hung around. We are dry as a bone up here. We have a 40% chance of rain tonight but it doesn't look like it will happen.

Fay is GONE. We had 70% chance of rain today and it poured a good part of the day. The rest of the week is supposed to dry out.

We had weirder storms than usual the past few days from Fay. I watched it pour on one half my yard, but not the other tonight. It only lasted about 10 minutes. Shorter than our normal t-storms.

Thanks for the info Judy and Suzanne. :love: I thought we found out upon arrival, but our first cruise came after a four month deployment for my husband and two hurricane evacuations so it's all a little fuzzy!!

And I guess it's a toss up for our rotation, although we have 4 teenagers and only two under 8 in our group. We'll see if majority rules or the little ones win out. At this point if I'm not cooking it the location doesn't really matter!:thumbsup2

Have a great week!
Lorie

Lorie,I am hoping for 3 nights at Parrot Cay - my favorite on the ship. But I agree with you - as long as I don't have to cook or clean up I'm ok with anything.

The sky just opened up and we're getting a downpour. Our poor plants really need it.

Hey Lorie -

I went online to book the Cozumel excursion and noticed the kids are booked for the Wild Side on our second stop at CC. Was that the only one open? I thought you said it was scheduled for the first stop, but it was later than I normally stay up when we talked. :rolleyes1

Hi everyone,

I missed a few days and had a lot of catching up to do. Besides working 4 12 hour shifts this past week, I've picked and canned 4 bushels of green beans and 2 bushels of "bird egg beans" We have 60 tomato plants that my dad planted, that we'll have to do something with, but right now, I'M DONE!!!!

I didn't get a chance to book our excursions until this morning. DCL didn't have Bob and Kenna as Castaway Club members. Since we have 2 rooms, Bob and Kenna are in the other room. It threw everything off. I couldn't get the Palo brunch or tea.---Not that we really wanted them, I just wanted to go in and get some good pictures of the restaraunt and the food. NOW I NEED TO RELY ON THOSE OF YOU WHO GOT IN THERE TO GET ME SOME GOOD PICTURES.

Stacie--Did you change your name again? I certainly hope you nail down a name for that baby before he/she gets here. HA HA

So what excursions is everyone doing? We signed up for the Glass bottom boat in CC at 9:45 the first day, then nothing the rest of the day. We plan to walk and enjoy the island and look at all the Christmas decorations on Friday. In GC, we're doing Boatswains and in Cozumel, we are doing Xcaret. Although, I can't get anyone in my family to go in the underground river with me. I think that it will be cool, but no takers. SO I'll just "float" to the ocean, and they'll have to walk.

89 days to go yeah, 89 days to go yeah.
(countin' down like those bottles of beer on the wall)

Okay, Newbie needs some help here. I am really trying hard, but all of the ABCs are confusing me. What are all of the initials. What is PL?LA?LL?:confused3 Please help me out. Thanks a bunch!

P = Parrot Cay
L = Lumiere's
A = Animators Palate

Hope that helps you, if you have any other questions just ask.:)

I am having such a hard time paying off this cruise. I called Friday and the TA's office was closed because of Fay, then when I called Saturday they couldn't put the payment through due to some rebate. They said it would be done first thing Monday morning and they'd call me to confirm. I waited until 1:30pm, finally called them and it still wasn't done. The guy I talked to said he would do it right away and we would be able to book the excursions tonight. DS wanted to be around when I booked everything so when he gets home at 4pm we'll see if it works. I really didn't think it was going to be this difficult. Geez, Louise!!!

I knew I should have done a check to see if you were vertical!! :rotfl2: Friday was the only one open when I booked, but we could try at the 75 day point to move it to Sunday. I thought maybe they were only doing it on one of the two stops.

Got to fly, we have open house for Rachael tonight and the little girls tomorrow night. At least soccer practice was cancelled for tonight so we can leave all the girls home.

Lora,
A friend went to Cozumel in June and did the underground river. She said it is nice. She and her boyfriend also went to a cenote and when they got there everyone was naked!! Whoo Hoo! :rotfl: They left and went for a bike ride instead! :moped:
No rush but when you decide, let me know your choice of day and time for the meet on board.
Judy

Hello all.

I would like to introduce our traveling companions. Russ, Jenette, and Reed (DD7) Collins. They just signed up on the boards and are patiently waiting for the time to start posting (chime in Russ!). Anyway, they have signed up for the FE (I hope it's not too late) and will be joining us in the festivities.party:
