I'm a little upset I stayed up this late for nothing. My friend did say Palo's was totally booked Monday for dinner and you could only book for 1 or 2 people for the brunch or high tea.

I got mine to finally work - the delay seemed to be when I tried to book Palo for 4 adults in our traveling party - 2 of which are newbies so they can't book yet. Once I picked other adults that were CC members, it went through - but the time I wanted was gone. DARN! But I did get Palo for one night and an excursion we wanted. Good luck everyone!!

DOn't forget that these are limited reservations released to us right now. I'm sure you can call in the morning tell them the trouble you encountered. Check out this other meet's difficulties.

I'm booked. The only thing I was locked out of was Palo brunch.
I booked Dolphinaris swim for all 3 of us at Cozumel, Personal watercraft tour for DH on CC and float rental 2 days at CC.
I think BFF is locked out and she is a return cruiser. I don't know what is going on with hers.
I will continue to check for Palo brunch.

All set! I had a little trouble when I went to submit and I got nervous that I lost everything. But, in the end, it was all there and I even got the kids registered. I got Palo for Wed night (we're planning to stay on the ship that day and relax), spa stuff on Monday, waverunners for Friday, and floats/snorkels and bikes for Sunday. We already booked our Dolphin swim privately, so I think we're all set. I may do some spa stuff on Wed, if they offer some good port day deals. I'm off to bed now. I just got in and was able to book Flounder's for the time my friend booked Palo's. I also got a couples massage with Flounder time (though much shorter than I hoped) and extra Flounder time on Thanksgiving. Now, off to bed.

I did have a little glitch when I first went on (the same with saying I owed money but showing a zero balance) but I just backed out and re-entered my reservation number and went through fine. Also if anyone else with a linked reservation to yours is in the system making reservations it won't let you in until they are finished. We did get our Palo reservations when we wanted and the Wild Side tour on Castaway Cay for our teens. We're going to wait for the adult excursions, still debating whether our youngest will be happy enough in the kid's program to be left for an extended period.

A shout-out to all you other Cat 4 families of five, we'll be seeing you in the halls. We requested our room number in the forward section since that seemed to be the best for us on the last cruise.

I had a lot of trouble getting logged in and making reservations! First of all, by the time I finally was able to get in, Palo Brunch was gone. It also didn't want to save the excursions I was reserving. I'd get to the end to confirm all of my ressies and part of them wouldn't be there. In the end it all worked out though. I just kept clicking back on Palo's and finally at 11:45 tonight brunch was available for Thursday at 10:30. So, I grabbed it! I forgot about it being Thanksgiving, but they don't do anything special for lunch, do they? I was thinking it was just supper, so someone please let me know if I'm wrong. I guess we'll just feel like stuffed turkeys and do both if Disney does do some sort of turkey dinner on that day.

If you couldn't get brunch, make sure you go back on and try! It appeared to be unavailable to me by 11:13 but was then available again at 11:45. Here's something strange though--I still can't fill out my online checkin stuff. I'm not so worried about that though.

How does 3:00 sound for the meet? That should give everyone time to get unpacked, change or make additional ressies, get a few boat drinks in hand and mingle. Please - if anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know. I know we still have time to vote and change our minds but it's already 10 to 1 with 1 undecided and it really looks like we're leaning to Sat before sail-a-way.

Brunch and high tea are all gone!!
Just reading some later threads and glad to see folks are getting their Flounders reservations when they want them.My BFF Linda is on the line with DCL right now because they don't have her as a CC member - this is their 3rd cruise. She was unable to book anything and is panicked about the availability of Palo nights.
I'm very excited that DS and DH want to do the dolphin swim with me! They never said a word before and now they're talking about it and looking at the Dolphinaris web site.
I think I'm going to book a pedicure at the spa, just need to decide when. Anyone ever use the hair or manicure-pedicure services?

Very tired today. Couldn't sleep after making my ressies. I was so excited and stayed up watching Iron Chef (one of my guilty pleasures) until 3:00.

BFF Linda and I have linked ressies and she was unable to access anything until about an hour ago. She had to call DCL,and have them fix it. Needless to say she did not get the Palo that she wanted. She's also having difficulty registering for this thread. She contacted administration and is waiting for a resolution. Hang in there Linda!!!

I think we have the voting for date and time of the meet open until Monday, 9/2. The thought was it would give people plenty of time to make ressies and change them if they wanted. It really does appear that it will be at 3:00 before sail-a-way though. I will contact DCL next Tuesday with our request for a room. I will post on the thread and Stacie will put it on the website and PM everyone. Stacie's contact at DCL stated in her e-mail that she cannot confirm anything until closer to our sail date. I'll let you know!!

My reservations were linked too. I wonder if that's what causes the problem. I hope DCL fixes that. It seems to cause trouble for a lot of people.

Like Susan said we had some trouble with ressies because of being linked but I think everything will work out. Got a Palo brunch for 2, I hope to be able to change it to 4, Palo dinner, and a couples cabana massage on CC. We got Flounder's time for Friday morn and each night during dinner except pirate night.

Shay--DCL told me on 8/10 that Formal night was Mon, Pirate night was Wed, and Semi-Formal was Thursday. The rotations I was told would be LAAPLAP, APPLAPL, and PLLAPLA.

The website is up to date with the fish extender exchange list. I can start listing excursions and reservations on the website, if you want yours listed e-mail or PM me.

Just to catch you up to speed -
We are voting on date and time for our meet and greet on board. The choices are:
1. 3:00 on Sat prior to the boat drill and sail-a-way party
2. Sunday (AM or PM)
3.Monday (AM or PM)

Majority rules. The voting will end on Mon 9/2. Just post your choice on the thread and I will log in your vote.
I will also contact DCL after we have decided and get a room (and possibly refreshments if they will deliver) for the event!
We will also have a family grab bag at the meet and fish extender exchange during the trip.

Boy was I getting frustrated last night. I got on right on the 9pm our pst. I was in and hitting my reservations and then my best friend got on her lap top to set up her son in his stuff and then we both had issues. UGH! So she logged out and it kept saying she was on when she wasn't. I logged off went back on still trouble, she logged on still trouble for her. We actually had to disconnect the Internet for a moment to clear us. Then I was able to get on and book our excursions and a Palo res. I was sad not to get a brunch, we wanted that or or a high tea but we couldn't get the high teas as only 1-2 people could get in and there are 3 of us . So Friday night at Palo it is. I hope I can get it changed later though. I went on just a moment ago to see if there was any luck and nothing. But I am happy we get to do the Dolphin swim, a submarine tour, 3 cabana massages, and our floaties. I don't see the banana boat ride, any one know why? Thank goodnees all is well

Hmmm...Are all these name changes just a cover for your career in the CIA? or just changing the names to protect the innocent!!

Anyway, my question is when do we get our dinner rotation? I can't remember from last time if we knew ahead or just found out when we got to the ship? Thanks for the info.
