Just one correction to the website. The cruise dates say 11/22-11/28, are they kicking us off one day early
No big deal, just thought I would let you know.

Lora--I forgot to answer you yesterday about food at the meet. I can e-mail and ask if they can provide some "party" food. Maybe a cheese/meat/cracker tray and a fruit tray?
I had tentatively scheduled the meet from 2:30-3:30, that way I thought those that board early would have plenty of time to eat and swim before the meet, then they could stop by the meet before heading to the staterooms to get ready for the lifeboat drill. Would 3:00 be better? Do we want two options on Saturday and then a mini-meet Sunday before the early seating/show like in the Promenade lounge? Or an event on Monday while we're at sea?
Got my cholesterol report back from the doc today. As if I did not need a second reason other than this cruise to loose some pounds. If I can lay off the beer for a bit . . . . .![]()
Getting closer..... so last night we PAID IN FULL!!!!We're ready to sail!
Just waiting for the 90 day mark ......
IKWYM As much as I would love to meet everyone on the first day of the cruise, there doesn't seem to be enough time. Add lunch, trying to change dinner times, and the safety drill to the things you mentioned and it gets a little busy.I would also rather have the DIS meet during a day at sea. To be quite honest, we've never made it to previous DIS meets because they have been on the first day. We get excited, the kids play in the pool, we go to the room to unpack and get settled in, and the next thing we know it's time for the sail away party. I think we might have a better turn out if it wasn't on the first day. But, that's just my opinion. I would, for once, like to actually make it to the DIS meet.![]()
