Hello everyone, First time poster to this board. I just put a deposit on the 11/22/08 cruise and I wanted to introduce me and my family.

This would be our second time on the Disney cruise, our first was on the Magic 11/04/06. This cruise will be a suprise to the kids.

Sima, If you still would like information to the Wilderness Resort, I have been there about 10 times in the off season.

I didn't know about the cruise meets, because I wasn't aware of this board until recently. Looking forward to meeting everyone this time around.

This cruise is to celebrate me turning 40 on 11/26, my husband turning 40 and 15 years of marriage .

Chatting with people before the cruise makes it that much more fun. That is SO true and we have even made some WONDERFUL friends from the DIS boards.

It seems so far away right now, but time does go by so fast!

Amy...Last year we were on the 11/06 cruise as well. My DH celebrated his 40th and we celebrated our 15th! You'll have a blast...again!!

Hi, everyone. We were on page 3, so I thought I'd bump us back up. We were on our way to Kansas City today, and my kids started asking me all kinds of questions about this Thanksgiving cruise. They are already pretty excited to cruise again!

We had about 4 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday morning, and today it is 65 degrees. Isn't that weird? I think our forecast looks like sun and 70's from here on out.

We had 3-4 inches of rain here in Jersey yesterday and woke up this morning to heavy sleet and heavy wind. WHAT A MESS!!!!

Me - 6th.

2) Are you cruising anytime between now and then (on any cruiseline)?
Me - Yes, Disney Wonder on March 1st and Disney Magic on Feb 16th, 2008.

3) Main or Late Dining?
Me - Main (6pm requested)

4) Favorite show on any Disney Ship?
Me - Hercules

5) Favorite Restaurant on and Disney Ship?
Me - Palo Brunch

6) Favorite Activity on any Disney Ship?
Me - Sailaway Party - means the trip is just beginning!!!!

7) Usual place you eat lunch at on boarding day?
Me - Parrot Cay

3) Late Dining - wasn't sure which to pick so we went with late dining thinking this way we wouldn't feel rushed on port days.

No school for us today. Roads are too flooded. Kids have dentist appointments today 1/2 hour away. Hope I can make it there.

Welcome GotDisney?, glad your joining us. I have a DD that will be 13 at the time of the cruise and a DS that will be 15.

Nothing new here so I'll bore you with baby news. DS rolled from his back to his tummy on Wednesday. Thursday we bought him a jumperoo and he is a crazy wild man in it, good thing it has a heavy base or he'd tip the silly thing over. Friday we took him in for a weight check and he is back up to 50% on the growth chart (he had dropped of at 3 months because of GERD). He's started eating cereal and thinks it is fantastic.

Our kids were supposed to have their last day of school on May 31st but now it's been pushed back to June 5 because of snow days. When does everyone else get out?

Susan--DD went to Casey's house on Saturday and had a great time. It sounds like they'll be joining us for this cruise.

SuzyMouse--Can you do anything to get RV to finish his trip report?

Is anyone working on planning their summer vacation? DH and I have Yellowstone, and the Grand Canyon left on our list before DH15 leaves home. I think this summer might be the Grand Canyon via Yellowstone. Who's been there? Do you have any must do's or travel tips?

We're taking a quick jaunt through part of the midwest this summer (MO - St Louis & Hannibal; IL - Godfrey, Quincy, & Chicago; IN - South Bend; OH -Dayton).

Good morning Travelling Turkeys!! Once again - WELCOME to the newest additions to our thread. One of these days, I am going to make a list of screen names and the people names that go with them. Maybe then I wouldn't be quite so confused all the time. Then again, maybe that's just wishful thinking.

The sun is out and I'm looking so forward to a warm day here in the midwest. I am hoping I can come out of winter hybernation for good.

GotDisney? - We were at Langly, VA compliments of the USAF some years back. Even though the kids were quite small we enjoyed season tickets to (shhhh) Busch Gardens I'm rather sure I mentioned a few pages back that the kids are back on the campaign to swing summer vacation voters to elect yet another trip there this summer. We were even there last year, but "MOM there is a new rollercoaster opening this spring!!!" My vote is firm for a day of whitewater rafting, but I might consider giving up a day of kayaking for a day of rollercoasters....if the price is right. We're now located near Scott AFB but are Ret AF at this point. I know, that makes us sound as old as dirt, but I promise not to wear sensible, orthopedic shoes for at least another 20+ years.

DS finishes school 23 May (2 days added because of snow days).
DD finishes school 25 May. She's at a private school, and this is the first year they finish before Memorial Day weekend. YEAH!! I hope it works out well, so they schedule next year this way too. She will be 14 at cruise time too.

We were just talking about our Hawaii trip this weekend. We're doing a cruise that goes to several of the islands. Are there any things that you can think of that we just have to do as far as excursions? We're pretty excited about the whole thing. I've heard it's beautiful. My DH has wanted to go forever, but we were trying to wait until our fifteen year anniversary, and now we're taking the kids.

Stacie--I wish we were closer so our girls could get together! I'm glad that Casey and her family are in on this cruise. Brianna really had a great time with both girls and cannot wait to see them again!

Are you showing Andy my picture every day so he won't be scared of me on this cruise? My DH still talks about that. He says he's never seen a baby not like me before. I'm getting a complex.

DisneyPoor: So much to do in such little time. Send me your itinerary so I can start a realistic (timewise) list for you. #1 tip if you rent a car and drive on any of the islands - DON'T use your horn unless absolutely necessary. It is considered very rude to honk your horn and can cause some road rage in extreme cases.
