We also have 4 other families trying to decide to come - how fun would that be?!

Trying to keep up with this group might turn into a full time job. Thank goodness I have nothing else to do except dream about cruising. To heck with the laundry and supper!:rotfl2:

Susan--By this cruise you will be Auntie Susan to Andy I'm sure. Ever since we came home he's had an incredibly shrinking space bubble. Even the old ladies at church make him cry.

We were just talking about our Hawaii trip this weekend. We're doing a cruise that goes to several of the islands. Are there any things that you can think of that we just have to do as far as excursions? We're pretty excited about the whole thing. I've heard it's beautiful. My DH has wanted to go forever, but we were trying to wait until our fifteen year anniversary, and now we're taking the kids.:confused3

A cruise sounds awesome as I said we only had 8 days in O'Ahu but I was happy (thrilled) for that. How long is the cruise and does it go to all the islands? We did a whale watching trip with Navatek that was really good (but we went at the height of the season) and we did an afternoon sail with Makani Sail which was great we saw dolphins, flying fish, and more whales. But I would say you would def what to go to Pearl Harbor it was very moving.
My 5 yr old enjoyed our trip the most. He wants to have his birthday party in Waikiki in October ~ fat chance of that happening!!!!

I have maps and a few books though they are only for O'ahu if you would like them...

Hello, Hello, Hello! I just booked for the Thanksgiving 08 double dip! Sounds like you guys have a great thing going here. Can't wait to read through the 19+ pages of posts!!

I was cracking up when I read that your 5 yr old wanted to have his birthday party in Hawaii!:lmao: Not too many kids think of that! Our cruise is 7 nights. We actually fly to Honolulu and will spend a night there so we can do Pearl Harbor. Then we'll board the ship. It goes to four different islands. I'm going to have to dig all of the paperwork back out to say which ones for sure.:confused3 I was so focused on our recent Disney cruise that I sortof put Hawaii on the back burner. Now, it's "Hawaii time".:goodvibes My DH has always wanted to go to Hawaii, and we will have been married for 15 years in 08, so we decided to go for it.

GotDisney--I'm going to dig out my stuff on our Hawaii trip in the next week or so and will let you know what islands we are going to for sure. Thanks for offering to help me out!

Stacie--Auntie Susan sounds great to me!:rotfl:

If I remember correctly the islands will be Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai. How long will y'all be on each island? That will give me an idea of which areas to focus on.

Welcome seadooken!!

The website is up to date with all the info that I've gotten. If you've sent me info and I haven't sent you the link let me know.

It said on the news last night that Iowa was one of the warmest spots in the country, we topped out at 74 yesterday. DS15 mows lawns for a "living" he is in denial that spring is here. No more playing playstation and doing nothing after school. The sad thing is we don't even make him mow ours because we'd get tired of waiting for him to do it. :)

Susan--Do you have any more days off before the end of the school year or are you in it for the long haul? Our kids only have off two more half days and that is for our Tulip Festival that they participate in with band and scouts.

Teresa and Michael...I spoke to Disney again... our table arrangements are ready. OK MICHAEL!!! I know you're here!!

Hi Stacie, If you could, please send me the link to the website.

Do all of you New Jersians (Jerseyites?) have you canoes out and your boots on? I hope you are all safe, it looks bad on the news.

Seadooken--I've been blackmailing people with the link to the site, once you send your info (see post #220) then I'll send you the link. :)

Nothing new here, it's a beautiful Wednesday morning. The big outing of the day will be going to the grocery store to get what else but chocolate milk for DS and DD and diapers for littleDS. Oh, and I should probably get some laundry done today since I skipped it yesterday. Hope everyone has a good day!

Susan--We definately want to link dining with you guys.

Does anyone know how to request servers? Can you do it beforehand or do you have to wait until you get onboard?

I KNEW IT!!!:cool1: Pressure works on him not me!!! Remember that. By the way Howard was looking over my shoulder as I was looking at responses to my trip report. Good thing he didn't ask me any questions!

dutch_girl_scout:No need for boats out here in Jersey...just a few towels for the water coming in my basement windows! Thank you for asking!

As far as requesting servers I'm sure you can ask...it won't hurt!!

We were lucky here in NJ, no water in our basement, but our sump pump has been working overtime.

Suzymouse sorry to hear about your basement.:sad2:

I actually requested either Evan or Gabor when I rebooked onboard. I will call and double check to make sure DCL has it in their system though.:)
