Woohoo! My Aunt Evie will be joining us on the cruise. She's always wanted to cruise and never been on one, PLUS she'll be celebrating her birthday while on the cruise. We're looking at her son/my cousin David and his girlfriend Suzanne possibly joining us also, but he hates to make plans so far in advance.

On a side note, anyone else trying to catch the meteor shower tonight?

cjckclan - Our two oldest daughters are in the same grade as your daughter and they were wondering if they might be able to contact each other and possibly meet when we will be out your way in July.

disneylover5 - your daughter is between our two oldest and our youngest daughter's age. Might we be able to arrange a meet at Tyson's or somewhere public since we are essentially just down the road from you?

Anyone talking about an East Coast meet yet? There seems to be a lot of us within a few of hours from each other. Maybe Baltimore?

Near Quantico - imagine being Air Force surrounded by a whole bunch of Navy, even more Marines, and a few Army.

Our church, Centreville Presbyterian, has a group of about 50 going on this cruise....lots of the kids are your kids age.

Another newbie question - how comfortable are those drop-down beds? Do they make the bed beneath them feel cramped or is it similar to being in bunkbeds?

They are very comforable....both upper and lower!! No need to worry about this at all.....lots of room between the two as well.

Susan--Tell your DD happy belated 12th birthday!! Glad you survived the sleepover.

Saturday was gorgeous here, DH and the kids got the garden planted and our favorite ice cream place opened for the season so we went there Sat night for a late night treat.

No I work on my closet. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates there!! I was able to get a lot done. Unfortunately I'll have to make this day up as well as the rain day. That should be considered a state of emergency...but I doubt that it will be!!!
