Well Jamaica is nice too...especially Negril...in fact in a few days there, I dont think we ever actually left the resort other than for a catamaran cruise....no, Michelle, even w/snow making machinery, i'd still need a longer driveway and one that has an actual pitch...but give me some back bowls w/black diamonds any time...but I am diehard skier - I have 2 sets of skis, one for groomed trails and a nice "fat" pair for powder and deep ungroomed areas...and Mason has been as high as blue-blacks and the top of one of Steamboat's peaks (blue, not black for that one)...Lisa likes the other activties in town more than the slopes.

Did you make it to Kingston? No side trip to the Marley museum?
I don't downhill (fear, even as a child) but I grew up on the border of Pa and NY. We use to cross country to school after a decent snow. I haven't in years, you do get a workout and I know my knees could no longer take it

The question is how long did you wait in line or when was the return on your fastpass. The traffic at that ride is huge. It is great though.

We are counting down the days until we go to Food and Wine...cannot wait!
We love the food, but not the prices :thumbsup2

We have three Cat 6 cabins on Deck 5...maybe we will be neighbors.

chuck I want to see you snow ski down your driveway......I'll get you the snow machines from the Celebration snowfall:lmao:

The waits were one hour long. It was the only ride where FP was up to 5 p.m. by mid-day. We could almost walk on any other ride. I was actually quite floored by the wait times for it. It is definitely worth getting the park early - get your FP then get in the stand-by line. ::yes:: We had incredibly low crowds during our week. It was the least crowded I've ever seen it.

I don't care where I'm at, but it would be nice to be on the same floor with the others traveling with me. As soon as I get a stateroom # you can count on me announcing it.

We also have a cat 6 guarantee so we are waiting as well for the number, though I note that if the family members actually get a cat 12, they will be on deck 2...if they get an 11, they will be higher up.

Believe it or not a one hour wait time is short for that ride. It typically lingers in the 2 hour time frame. so way to go. They used to have a single rider line, but it got abused and so they did away with it.

They didn't change our cruise to Alaska and someone forgot to tell me, did they?:lmao: Actually, that wouldn't be too bad. I need beach talk though! We're almost five weeks from our sail date. Come on, folks! Bring on the sunshine, crystal blue waters, and fru-fru drinks.:thumbsup2

All joking aside, I really can't believe we're only weeks away from our sail date. I'm kind of starting to panic a little. My DS needs new dress shoes to wear with his suit, and I have no idea what the rest of us are wearing. So, it's time to go through the closets and do myself some shopping. I hate it when I have to shop.:rotfl:

BTW--make sure you let us know stateroom numbers when you all get them. I am ready for FE's. That's one thing I haven't procrastinated on. In fact, I'm having to cut myself off. Everywhere I go I seem to find more stuff.:rolleyes1 DH is literally going to you know what when he sees what we're bringing. It will be so much fun though.:woohoo:

I keep getting new ideas for FE stuff too. I'm so time limited but I would love to put together some more things.
Wish I was in your neck of the woods. I love to shop, we could make a day of it!
I bought DS a new pair of khakis yesterday and he said he's not wearing them. He is threatening to order room service if he has to get dressed up. I tell him they will not deliver steaks to the room so if he wants a nice big juicy steak he'll get his butt dressed! They're not even that bad, they're cargo pants! He told me today "he" paid a lot of money for this trip and they have no right telling him what he has to wear. Of course my response (after I picked myself up off of the floor) was "who paid for the trip"? "It all comes from the family pot, Mom. So it's kinda my money too." See what you guys with little ones have to look forward to!!:scared: :scared1:

I sent our room numbers to Two by Four, but here they are in case anyone else wants them,

Lux Family: 5122
LeBlanc Family: 5124
Abrams Family: 5126

Can you tell we are already linked :)

Michelle ~ Did you book GTY?

Judy ~ Nope, no passport yet. I didn't really expect it today though.

I was just looking at the spread of cabins on the FE. It would appear that I will not be using the stairmaster in the gym. Walking up and down stairs delivering gifts will more than make up for it!!

They did away with it already? Wow. That stinks. I love that ride and always run there first, grab a fast pass, then do stand-by. Before it officially opened, we managed to ride it 5 times in one day by doing that. And I still love it.

Sandy - I have faith, it will be here soon!

Ken -So the rooms are all over, eh? I read on a website that one lap around deck 4 is 1/3 mile. That's some exercise! Unless I cheat and split the run 3 ways and make DH and DS help. I doubt I'll do that because I want to see all the great FEs. I know a lot of folks have worked hard getting this all together and I don't want to miss a thing. :fish:
I'm toying with the idea of taking tomorrow off. I could get a lot done, including packing and putting the lights on my FE. We finished writing our county's grant today (13.5 million) and sent it off to Washington. It was a grueling process and tomorrow would be a well deserved break.:thumbsup2

Yep too many people were getting in as single and then saying they were with the following. Or biringing kids in and being told the kids would ride alone with a stranger and say OK then get irritated. And it was causing the rest of the stand by line to back up. It was a shame....I think.

Judy,

As a taxpayer (granted a County 2000 miles away from yours). You have my permision to take the day off. If anybody questions you, please have them call!!

Thanks for the ok, boss! I was just picking out my clothes for tomorrow and said forget it. I shut the closet door and decided I'm off tomorrow!:dance3: :yay:

You really can get lots of exercise doing FE's...as for adding stuff, check out Oriental Trading Company...order online and it is not expensive...we will announce our cabin number once we find out what it is.

The other trick to exercise on the boat, especially when doing FE's is to stick to the stairs...we are usually on deck 6 which means 3 flights up or down anywhere we want to go.

But back to my other vice - World of Warcraft...the patch that sets up for the expansion pack came out today so lots of stuff to do...and that expansion pack hits 11/13, so i am going to fall behind on the cruise, but my laptop will truly be limited to work related email...now if they still had unlimited internet packages....then my wife would kill me if i tried it on the boat.

Chuck:cool1:

Yes I would and it would definitely be justified!!! :thumbsup2
