I spent the day packing. We will be so busy this week it was my only chance. I will be teaching all week so we come down to Galveston Saturday Morning. We can't wait....

We think alike! I threw away most of my outside Christmas decorations in January when we moved. I have spent the last few weeks making new ones. They are all laid out on my dining room table ready to go up the minute we get home from the cruise.

I'm going to start packing this weekend. My goal is to have everything packed except a few clothing items that I will wash later in the week and throw in the suitcases Thursday night.

We will be driving to Galveston Friday after I get off of work. It will be pretty late when we get there, but I thought it was better than getting up early and driving in the morning.

I have started watching the 10 day weather forecast for Galveston even though I know they really aren't too accurate. So far it is Sunny with a high around 70. I hope it stays and we have nice weather for the Sail Away party.

Exciting!!! 9 days!

I have finished putting up the Christmas decorations. All I will need to do when we get back from the trip is put up the outside lights.

My daughter is all packed. Now I just need to get myself packed and we will be good to go.

We live about an hour from Galveston so we will be heading there on Sat.

What time does the terminal open? Disney is out of terminal 2, correct?

Oh and Sunday at the Woodlands Mall we were picking up some shirts at the Disney store when we ran into another gentleman who'd been on the Alaska cruise and is on this cruise as well. His lovely wife and kids ended up walking him away before I thought to ask if he was on the boards...so are y'all?

My DDs turned 9 today. They are growing up way to fast.

Just 2 1/2 more days of work for DH an I. Then Galveston here we come!

I did share with my DDs that Mickey Mouses birthday is on Sunday. They both want to make him a card and deliver it while we are down in Galveston. They still do not know we are cruising. Now, if they just don't click that we have way too much luggage for one night in Galveston.

I'm about 50% packed. I only have the kids suitcases packed. I have two small suitcases for them and two large ones for me and DH. I'm looking at my pile of extras (pirate outfits, princess dresses, swimming gear, etc) and thinking I may need another suitcase for just that stuff. Good thing we aren't flying!!

I also have a carryon and a small backpack which I plan to use in place of a purse. DH will also have a backpack.

I am not sure how many suitcases we will have. LOL, so not organized. I am betting we will have two large suitcases, one small one and a garment bag. I'm debating the girls bringing their small rolling ones. Since I have one small suitcase with the pirate/FE stuff in it, I'm sure it will be less full coming home so they may not need their own suitcases to bring home any toys they buy along the way.

No horses - check. We travel with a matching set of curly headed 9 year old girls.

John and I just have to get through today at work. Tomorrow the girls go to school, then John and I run last minute errands and pack like mad/crazy people.

I was amused last night. My DDs do know we are going to Galveston tomorrow for a night at the Galvez, that is all they know. But they were asking last night if they behave if we would consider staying another night instead of coming home on Saturday. Of course I agreed to that deal.
