Hi, I'm 2 days out from my 60 day window - trying to figure out how soon I should schedule FP+ for arrival day. We land at 11:15 at MCO and are taking DME. Staying at POR. How much time will it take to get to POR, and then how much more time to get to MK or HS. Trying to figure out the earliest time for a FP+ at MK or HS. I welcome your feedback.

Should allow a good 90 minutes to get to POR.

Probably another hour or so on top of that to be safe.

Keep in mind, that your FP window is good for an hour, So you can make it a little earlier, and still have time

I agree with the 90 minutes to get to POR. Your room may or may not be ready at that time, if it is you might want a few minutes to get settled. I'd go with the 3 hours you noted, that will allow sometime if your flights a little late or you just miss a DME bus and have to wait for the next one.

We landed at around the same time and we're staying at PORFQ, I had a FP for 2:30 at Epcot, we easily made it and we even stopped into our room and had an order of Beignets.

You could also pick something for your first FP that tends to have good FP availability (Haunted Mansion, for example) and then if it looks like you're going to be on time move it earlier and if your flight is running late, push it back.

I'm guessing, as long as you don't run into any serious delays (flight arrives on time) and you move at a relatively quick pace. You'd be at one of the parks by 2:00. I probably wouldn't schedule any fastpasses til more like 3 though. Are you going to need to eat before you get to the park (would you just be picking something up at the airport and eat while you're waiting or would you try eating at the resort or sitting down to eat?)

So glad you posted this. Our flight will also get into MCO around 11:15am, staying at the contemporary. I figured I'd do our fast passes starting at 3pm?

Was thinking of doing the FP for stuff I could easily get another day as a 4th or 5th, etc if we happen to miss our window.

What would you guys suggest for MK? Girls will be 2 and 4.

3 hours from time you land is a pretty safe time to book a first FP. I usually put my least critical FP first though, just in case we do end up running a bit late.

We've gotten in at MCO around 11 and taken the ME to Pop. I think we made it to the parks around 3pm. We did grab food at the airport. Then changed clothes on our arrival because it was snowing at home and definitely not in Disney...

Now we had a 5:30 dinner reservation in Epcot and scheduled our FP for after dinner in MK. We cut it close but did make our first. People around us couldn't seem to get we were on a mission to see Neverland!

FYI, here is what I grabbed for our arrival day:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2:55 PM - 3:55 PM
Splash Mountain
3:55 PM - 4:55 PM
Space Mountain
5:40 PM - 6:40 PM
