Questions about the FE gifts. What are some things you all have done in the past. This is all new to me and I have no clue on what to put in them.

I have only done it one time, but people put in everthing from bubbles to pirate accessorys to christmas ornaments.
People who were crafty made neat photo frames for scrapbooking with and there were magnets and glow sticks, tatoos and candy.
Knowing what day you have can affect what you put in too...

Oh jeepers...been busy here in NY. GOt our flight, booked a land portion and even had a yard sale here. I am so glad you all talked about the Bahamas. We may stay on board as we are
1st time cruisers and we really want to see a lot of the ship. I am glad we are near some of you on board! We are excited!

We've been having a rough time. I was president of the local Society of Young magicians. The guy who started the club years ago just started assuming things and getting me removed. Well months later I just quit. I don't want those fights. A friend of mine once said "cancel my subscription I don't want any of your issues"

So then my sister from San Antonio calls me on Saturday morning. I've never heard her so hysterical and upset before in all my life. She was walking her 10 week old new puppy and it was mauled by a loose pit bull. Quick trip to vet's ER, when she called me, and the puppy couldn't be saved. She made it on the news trying to find these dogs.

The news reports the puppy as 10 months old but it was really 10 weeks and only 3 pounds.

My whole family was crying cause we have 2 of the same breed, toy poodle. One of which is only 8 months old - we call him Spike.

Well anyway, we're all doing better including my sister.

That is terrible about the poor little puppy.
You are better to be away from power struggle stress even though I'm sure you miss being a part of the group.
I'm glad to hear you are all doing better though.

I am in the midst of my tear-fest right now. my best friend and 3 God Kids left on a plane this morning. they are moving to San Diego. We have know it was coming for a while, but that does not make today any easier.
Tonight is going to be hard going home. We live upstairs from them (or where they lived) so it will be wierd pulling into the driveway knowing they won't ever be there again. (ok, i'm starting to cry again, so new topic!)

I think we all will really appreciate our vacation in less than 4 months now!!!

I look forward to watching the kids excitement being on a plane - first time for most of 'em.

I'm looking forward to the Limo ride to the boat from the Hotel. I'm really looking forward to the first glimpse of the boat in the distance when in the Limo.

I'm telling the kids all the time they are going to have to just go nuts - enjoy the trip to the fullest - cause we ain't gonna be doing it again anytime soon.....

Greetings fellow Nov. 15 cruisers!!!

This will be mine and my hubby's 5th Dis cruise! We live in CT and have no kids and are in a Cat 5 - we usually get a Cat 6 midship but there was no avail this time as we just booked this cruise this week! We are forunate enough this year to have enough DVC points to allow us to go on this cruise!!! This will be our second cruise this year; our May cruise was our first non-dis cruise but i just couldn't let a year go by without being a part of WDW some way or the other!

So...looking forward to chatting with all of you!

I have exceptionally poor typing skills (should have taken keyboarding in HS ) but I can run on at the mouth at times. If you don't mind type-os galore that is. Especially when I'm putting off housework.

I can not believe summer is almost over for me. I'm off this week. go back to work for a week, then I'm off for two weeks then back to school!!! I can not wait to get back to work, I'm so ready. lol Yeah I know I'm crazy. There are people out there who would love to have all summer off!!!

Well I think we are down to 117 days or 3 months however you like to count it~~~


Had a busy busy weekend. Friday night DH and I had a date night and spent the night away from home for alone time since my sister in law and her son moved in with us it's been crazy and we needed it. Then Saturday was my moms surprise 60th birthday party which was wonderful!!! and The Sunday I have to get up early and go work the bus route with DH so much fun!!!!

I work in the school system as a sect. Well one day we had a fourth grader come in (yes in trouble) and seen a typerwriter in the corner and asked what it was. Well the other sect. who is in her 60's looked at me and we both just started to laugh. It was so cute and funny. These kids today just don't know what they missed. lol

So let you all know how the weekend went. Friday night was awesome. DH and I had the most wonderfull, romantic date night!!! now you all get the point. lol Saturday we had my moms (aka Granny) surprise 60th party. WOW we got her good. It was a perfect day. NO RAIN!!!!! Today same as my Sundays always go. Church, Church and more church. and in between we did have my husbands niece from NC come for a visit and lunch. Talked with my mom and she and my dad( aka pudgy) went shopping for the cruise. They got all new cloths. I pray my dad leaves those ugly black socks at home. lol Pudgy has a habit of wearing ugly black socks with shorts. DH and I where laughing at him yesterday for it and told him he can not do that on the cruise.

Well one more free week of being home. I'm ready to go back to work.. Hey I counted up today that it is 17 weeks to go.

Um....I feel so archaic...typewriters - yes that was my keyboarding class as well. My Jr. year in HS I was taught on a manual typewriter with carbon paper and my Sr. year we had moved on to electric with correction tape built into the machine !!! Innovation at its best!!! And I'm a 1980 graduate!

Ok...I just found out that our fave Cast Member will not be on The Wonder when we will sail. HE has the nerve to be on vacation!! This will be 3 cruises that we will have not seen him.
