I am so excited. They have "Halloweenified" the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain at Disneyland. We are going to check it out tomorrow with the masses. Hope it's still not 100 degrees out!

Got a letter from my work yesterday saying that flu shots are basically mandatory. If we don't get one then we have to wear a mask to work throughout the entire flu season. Hmmm.... decisions..... :rotfl2:. Oh well, at least I have a job. Hope everyone stays well.:flower3:

Wow. I am now a big fan of Bing Cashback. I just ordered about $85 worth of stuff from ebags and earned $17 in cashback from Bing. Zounds, that's...wait...hang on...CPA doing math here.....20% back. :woohoo:

Swine flu has hit here...not fun. But hey, look at the bright side it wont be a worry for the cruise! We'll be done with our round.
Just trying laugh instead of cry.

Good Job! What did you buy? And what's Bing?

Good Morning, everybody!

We got all of our flu shots yesterday, and my husband and I finished up our Hep A's and B's. Looks like we are all set. We were also thinking about trying to get the H1N1 vaccine when it becomes available, but I have concerns after watching this report. See what you think.

I couldn't find anything about it - can you give us the jist of the report? I suppose there's a certain level of danger from any vaccine. . .

Each year they "tweak" the flu vaccine to match the expected types of flu to hit. I was reading yesterday on the CDC web page that the H1N1 vaccine is created and tested just like any of the other flu vaccines that come out each year. The dangers with the H1N1 vaccine "should" be the same as any other flu vaccine. Anyone allergic to eggs should not get it.

Called my dd and ds pediatrician this morning, they ran out of vaccine.

No idea when they will get more, didn't the Gov say there was more than ample supply????

Guess, I'll pay the $ 30 and go to the pharmacy.

Something just seems backwards though, pharmacy has plenty,dr.s don't????

IDK

49 days to go :banana::banana::banana::banana:

I just signed the kids' permission slips for them to get the flu shot there. This is the first time the health department is sending vaccines to the school. I usually take them to the health department to save on the copays. They have a nurse at the school that will be administering the first week of October.

Called my dr to set up mine and DH's flu shots and they are already out. The supplier of their vaccine won't be shipping anymore to them. They will be shipping out Swine flu ones. I guess I'll have to suck up the $50 and go the pharmacy as well. Just need to go search for earliest dates.

Good Morning, everybody!

I bought a luggage scale, passport folio that will hold all 4 of our passports, and a small Baggalini cross-body bag for the parks.

Bing is Microsoft's equivalent to Google and Yahoo. You can find the cashback portion of it here http://www.bing.com/cashback

Ye, gonna take the kids to CVS tomm.
My DD school will be admin vaccine the end of October, too late for my liking and if there is a shortage already, I see them running out.

I hate to repeat myself, but I could swear the CDC said there was plenty of supply for all Americans.

I bet if you put the Mouse in charge, we would be fine :rotfl:, actually put Denise in charge and it would have been done already:thumbsup2

49 DAYS AND COUNTING-:cool1:

Yes, I have been meaning to ask this ?. Do they make luggage to the exact dimensions of the Airlines checked bag policy?
Also, luggage scale is a great idea. What exactly does it look like?

I haven't used Bing yet, just for a few searches, but they did seem good.
I try to buy through UPROMISE so a portion of the money goes into a college account. It adds up slowly, but every penny will be needed.

Thanks

Ohhhhh....Baggalini:love: Must remember to pick one up at the car wash! Yes - they sell them at my car wash (we are very fancy here!)

Which Baggalini did you order?

This is the one that I bought. http://www.ebags.com/lewis_n_clark/balanzza_digital_luggage_scale_v2_0/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=122732

Ooooh, is that the kind where they hand prep, wash, vacuum the entire interior and wash the inside of your windows? Sweeeet.

Oh happy Friday everyone. I hope you are staying flu-free and looking forward to a nice weekend. Chilly here - and must be fall as our temps next week are only to be in the 50's. But, that means our trip is getting closer so I guess, in the grand scheme of things, that is OK.

got our appointments for flu shots - don't know if the h1n1 will be in yet, but at least we'll get started. I have asthma, so I don't dare take the risk of not getting it.

We're going out tonight (did I say that already?) Can you tell it's an event? lol

We have a car wash like that - it used to be a great place to buy greeting cards until they got a new buyer.

Wishing you all a speedy recovery.

Im a busy writer todaypopcorn::

I know we are all gonna be doing our own things mostly and mostly relaxing on the cruise.

If anybody is interested in a ping pong tourney or shuffleboard that might be fun.
Who is he kidding, I hear you say, I'll be in the quiet cove with my DOD:woohoo:

Actually, we got our ressies for exotic Rasul:lovestruc. It sounds very interesting if you look it up on some of the search engines:love:.

Guess that beats ping pong:lmao:

I think now that we are at T-49, IM getting anxious
