I read an article saying that the man "jumped". Then someone posted a comment "was the service that bad?"

Some people will do anything to get off a Carnival ship and on to Mickey's boat... can't say I blame him.![]()
Hi everyone. I'm back! Haven't posted lately, but have been keeping up. Starting to feel like bad mom because I am totally at a loss on the whole fish extender thing. First of all, I would have to acquire one (notice I did NOT say make one). Then I would have to figure out what gifts to give. Then I would have to figure out how to get them to the ship. I can barely figure out how to get the 3 of us there with all of our own stuff. I would like to send a box to the ship, but all of my good ideas involve food and you can't send food to the ship. Then I would have to convince DH that there really is a good reason we are bringing an extra suitcase full of party favors across the entire country. I know DS would LOVE it immensely. How are you all handling the logistics of this?
P.S. - Glindamood: Please don't hate me because my dog looks like a skunk!
After all our fair food talk a couple weeks ago, I thought I'd share this year's fried creations for the State Fair of Texas!

I'm a little scared by the fact that I think I may have to try the fried butter!

Long weekend for us too. We're off camping again...
I read the article about what happened with this guy and then some of the comments. They are truly hilarious, so I'm going Off Topic to brighten your day.

Clearly the result of Disney's acquisition of Marvel. Now Disney the Disney Cruise Ship Wonder has become Wondership, Defender of the Seas!
Good morning,
MCO Hyatt to Port to POFQ
I need your help!! I was going to book with Southern Elegance because they gave me the best quote way back in May but now they are telling me that they can't pick me up from the MCO Hyatt until 10:30. That would get us at port at around 12 (cause we'll be making a grocery stop) - this is too late - I'd like to be there at 10:30.....
There will be 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) so it definitely not worth it to use the DCL transfers. I know it would be cheaper to rent cars but we really don't want to drive..... any suggestions, PLEASE??!?!???
Thanks!!
Lisa

Do you need to make dining changes or Palo reservations? If not, there really is no reason to get there that early. Last year we stayed at the Hyatt and got to the port around 11:30 using DCL transfers. This year we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and the DCL bus doesn't even pick us up until 11:45. That gives us time for breakfast at Chef Mickey's in the morning. If it is important to you to get there early though, I would rent a car.

I'm one of those "first to the port" kind of people...I've already got my PALO reservations, etc. and I know I'll be waiting around to board. I just won't be able to relax until we are there and I can start my vacation.... (does that make sense
??)
As for car rental - too much stress for me. I know it's cheaper but I've already organized everything else for this trip for both families - I don't want to have to do this as well - hence, the car service.
Thanks for your input though!!![]()
2 months from today we will be flying to WDW.
While it totally sucks that summer is over and the days are getting shorter, at least we'll be doing Disney in November!!
We're heading to Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend with some friends. I'll definitely be getting my exercise by repeatedly climbing up 6 flights of stairs to get to the top of the water slides.![]()
