I woke up at my usual 5 am and got on. Was able to sign dh up for the zipline tour in Cozumel, and dinner at Palo on Cayman day. (I told him King Charming was going, so there would be another unchaperoned male, lol.) Started on my fish extender - all the parts are cut out and interfaced. The sewing will occur on Tuesday.

Sleep tight!

Interesting... I just went on to my cruise plans, and was able to change from 11:30am Palo Brunch on Monday to 11:00am.

Maybe sme other can get an ealrier time too. I'm going to keep checking the next few days and see if any of the 10:30am time slots open up.

Ay yi yi! Go away for a week and the board explodes! Congrats to all who got what they wanted for ressies. Am I the only one not PIF? LOL. All I want is Palo dinner, so here's a question:

If I don't want to book on semi-formal, formal or pirate nights, what night(s)does that leave me for Palo dinner (I also don't want to miss the 1st night at AP, but can't know that now)?

Formal and semi formal are on the sea days (Monday and Thursday) and pirate nite is Cozumel (Wednesday). We are booked for dinner on Tues. I don't want to miss AP either.

I gave up my Palo 11:00 ressie, so maybe that's why one was open. I am trying to figure a good night for Palo (late dinner ressie). But it depends on our dining rotation. I'm not a fan of AP, but I don't know when we are in that room at this point. I may make a dash for ressies on the ship when we board...and here I thought I was all prepared!

Did get my facial for Thursday and Tea for Monday with DH! Dolphin Encounter is already booked and paid for. Anyone else doing Rum Point or Seven Mile on their own? Wondering about transportation...

What is the Wild Side?

It's a teen only excursion on Castaway Cay. If memory serves they go kayaking, snorkeling and bike riding. EM#1 raved about it last time. He had a really, really good time and is treating his brother to it this time around since brother is now old enough to hang in the Stack.

Sure hope those counselors in the Stack are well schooled in sibling rivalry. Now don't get me wrong... my boys are good. But dang! Mom says my sister and I fought constantly but I don't think we fought as much as these two do! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm going to keep checking too, but I've figured it out.... and it's all King Charming's fault (isn't everything?). I think Mickey's messing with him, not letting us even LOOK at Palo brunch ressies.

Palo brunch - I tried last night to change mine from Thursday to Monday but there were no openings. There are still openings on Thursday so if anyone is looking, that is an option.

First round of shopping here yesterday - DH made out like a bandit but Gail - not so much (not anything would be more precise). I love the end of season sales but I just could not find anything I wanted. And it certainly was not for my lack of looking either.

Today we are going to venture in toward Cleveland to our shopping experience so maybe, just maybe I will find something there. Take care and I will check in later.

Good Morning, Everybody!

Enjoy your shopping, Gail! Maybe you could do mine too, while you're out? I HATE TO SHOP!

Been to the pool and the gym, albeit very short workout because I was late and then the pool was late going down. I did my whole routine, just less time than normal on each thing.

Mountains of laundry in progress here now. More work on FE, and packing for our September jaunt to the midwest are also on plan for the day.

Hope you all have a good one!

That sounds like my girls. I swear, those two make WWII look like a tea party!

That'll teach him to mess with the Mickster! :darth::mickeyjum

Fish Extender thought
Are the kid's ages going to be broken down on the room # sheets. Some gifts will be more apropriate for 4 yr olds VS Teens. It would make it easier if we knew the ages

Was a FE deadline for sign up set? Just waiting to get everyone in and well...with limited time on my hands to shop etc..It is gonna take me a while to get everything ready. I know it was spoken about a while back but I have not seen the follow up to this...I may have missed it. Don't want to exclude:grouphug: anyone but just needed to know. Thanks

They are grouped by ages in the workbook. It doesn't give exact age, but within a few years.

I believe we agreed to a Sept 30th deadline so that people could order gifts and assemble them in time. That being said, I think most of us will buy some extra's for those that join after 9/30.

Good Morning, All! On my way to work out and hit the pool. Supposed to be another scorcher here in the northeast. Happy Day!

My guess (and thisis just a guess) is that it'll depend on the space available in the mini-navigator. Later on this morning when Cynthia gets on she might be able to answer this better.

But something I did last year might help you out. I plan to have all my FE gifts in a little baggie for each person in the room and put a label on the baggie to let me know what room to deliver that to. My sons don't know it yet but we'll be having a FE "party" here at the house soon where they'll start putting stuff in baggies. Anyway, at that point I'll still have the spreadsheet so I can make sure the proper type gift gets into the baggie.

Don't know if that would help you but it's an idea, for what it's worth.

Looking over Cynthia's draft, I don't believe it's going to have the family members and their info listed. But like mousemom11 said, the information is available in the workbook. I know we're planning on different gifts based on different ages, but we haven't gotten so far down the road as to figure out if we're going to make a list of who gets what or if we're going to package them...

Regarding the Fish Gift question about age:In the Mini-Nav I will have the disboard name, First Names with age. "Cynthia (51) " followed by a little nemo if they are taking part in the fish gift exchange and then their stateroom number. Now I can tell you that in the past....GENERALLY speaking, people do not group the gifts by age range for the simple reason of time management. HOWEVER, you can if you wish to.

It would be a really good idea :thumbsup2at this time for everyone just to take a peek at the spreadsheet and double check your information. We will be pulling a lot of information for the Mini-Nav as well as the lanyards from it and your names and stateroom numbers are really important.

If we have any lurkers...Please feel welcome to chime in! We are a fun and friendly group and look forward to meeting you!!

Cynthia

And while you are updating the workbook, take a look at the Secret Mickey tab and be sure you have completed all columns as several new ones have been added - or maybe decide to join us in the SM event, we would be glad to have you.

As long as you're in the workbook, make a note of Hypermommy's cabin number so that you can Ding-Dong-Dash them in the middle of the night. King Charming, Mickey made me say that. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
