Okay, so apparently google just changed their procedure to require a google acct before I could invite someone. Y'all help me remember to let anyone else that joins up know that they'll have to have a google acct before they can access the spreadsheet, please?

Great idea, RookieMouse. But don't forget that we also have pictures over in our private board gallery. I only mention it because I know some folks are sometimes hesitant about putting pictures of their kids online. And there's pictures over there of some of us already (don't freak out when you see me, okay? :scared1:).

Hey, does anyone recognize the name stulaurie? I got a request for access to the workbook, but you know how anal I am about making sure that I've seen them on here first. And you know I don't have but one or two memory cells left. I wanna give the person access, but I wanna make sure we've seen them here first. Please help my horrible memory? :rotfl2:

I remember seeing the name-one page back or so.

I just had an idea of another pre-cruise icebreaker for those who wish to participate. We actually did this on the cruise meet thread of our last cruise.

Everyone who wants to, posts a photo so we know who's who in the zoo before we actually meet on embarkation day. If this is NOT your first Disney Cruise, then post your favourite photo of you on a previous Disney cruise.

I'll start off... here is the RookieMouse family on formal night last cruise...

Beautiful family John.

We haven't been on DCL yet, so we don't have one of those pics. But here's one from last christmas of my family.

Have a great week everyone! It's another week closer at least.

Ok, saw a post for a cocktail stop on the way to the ship. I was wondering if when we ship our snorkel gear down can we ship include a well wrapped and cushioned beverage?

Wow,
Is it me or the site acting up today???

Couldn't be the amount of posts on this topic:lmao:

I need access to our webpage...what do you need from me Denise? Didn't know we had a gallery...duh!

What a great story!!! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Emma! My boys are going to be 14 and 16 when we sail. I'll try to talk them into popping on here to say hi. If your parents allow it, one of them has his IM addy listed over on our workbook. The other one seldom has his IM up so he decided not to list. But if you're allowed you could get his IM and start chatting that way. But I'll also try to get them to post on here.

As for the Stack, EM#1 loved it last time. He definitely liked the "no parents allowed" thing. I did go up there one time just to look around (got permission from both Disney and EM#1 LOL) and it did look like a really comfortable place to hang out.

Congrats!!!! It does make it a bit easier, doesn't it?

That sounds great!!! I'd love to make some new friends! My mom helped me set up an IM account this morning on Windows live messenger. Would you please be able to show me where your workbook is so that I can start IMing (is that a real word?!!) your son(s)?

I'm glad that the Stack was fun. So parents really aren't allowed up there? I heard that you can get smoothies whenever you want them, can you ask your sons if that's true?:upsidedow

I totally remember stulaurie from months ago...

I just asked my son, who is now 19, he was 16 when we went last time...he said that on the Wonder, it looked like a Starbucks lounge, with a pool table and video games. He didn't stick around for the dancing, he and his cousins played basketball instead. He's more of a jock...but the smoothies were good. He said that he thinks he had to pay for the smoothies and I think he was right about that. But I read that some people order from room service and then take food in there...that could be fun! What about making chocolate shakes from deck 9? Yum!

That sounds really cool! What a good idea! Thanks for the tip!!!!!:)

Okay, so I was looking over some of the spreadsheet data and I noticed that it xxcell has the same cabin number listed as me and my mom:confused: Looks like we have roommates we didn't know about;)

Hi,

Just registered. I am xxcells DW. I wanted to say Hi and get to know everybody.
If xxcell didn't post it,our DD is 10 and can't wait to meet her DIS friends.
Our DS just turned 16, it goes by too fast.

My DH(xxcell) told me what a great group of people you are and I wanted to be part of the fun.

He went through a rough bout of ailments, so I wanted to pitch in and help with everything.

We are so excited to meet everyone and have fun. This is our 4th DCL cruise. We are DVC members. And love anything/everything Disney.
My DH, is a bit shy, but after a little while he opens up and will have you laughing.
We are getting close to 25 years of marriage, so this is sort of an early anniv. gift to ourselves.

My DD would wants to me to say hi for her. She is very outgoing and loves to talk and sing and dress up.

Being a beginner, I am gonna try to get up to speed. I know she wants to do the FE, though my DH still needs to explain it more to me.
And the SM, he tried to explain ,but?????

Also my 16 year old DS is looking forward to ziplinining with King Charmings DS. He loves sports, video games, chess, shuffleboard. He's a bit on the shy side too, but a real nice young man.

Me, I am a big talker, so please be patient with me. I work at a PC help desk all day, so I love to talk face to face.
As you prob can tell by now-LOL

Nice chatting with you, and can't wait for the big day!!!!

3 months-YES :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Sincerely,
Irish Belle

PS-Any help would be greatly appreciated

I need access to our webpage...what do you need from me Denise? Didn't know we had a gallery...duh!

Just PM me so I can get you the URL. Or email me.

I'll be happy to show you how to get to the workbook. PM or email me. Better yet, mom or dad may already have access. Ask them to go there and you can get the info you need to contact James and leaves yours if you want to.

Well, to be perfectly honest about the no parent thing... yes and no.

It's a teens only space and to be quite honest, you'll find most parents respect that as long as they know you have some responsible supervision. And the young adults that Disney gets to staff the Stack will feel more like camp counselors or older friends than "staff". So most of us leave you alone.

Ummmm, besides..... we're way too busy at the Spa or the Cove Cafe, right? :rotfl2::cool1::hippie:

Now... if some parent really wanted to come up and see the place I'm sure Disney would let them. They let me last year, but I just looked around, saw that it was a cool teen-ish spot and left. Okay, so shoot me... yeah, I respect my son's space but I'm also the original Hypermommy and that's a really fine line to walk sometimes. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

So the best I can tell you is yes and no.

And EM#1 said that yes, y'all get free smoothies.... or shakes or something like that. They apparently have a full drink station up there so you won't have to leave to come down to Deck 9.

But do get up with EM#1 via IM. I'm sure he'll love telling you about it.

Now... a question for the parents: No fair! We didn't get free smoothies at the Cove Cafe or by the adult pool? Oh yeah..... ours were, um, thicker... yeah, they must have had an extra ingredient or two. Ya think? :yay:

Again, my apologies

Boy, I'm so glad to see something like this. I would NEVER EVER have caught that.

Oh, I can just tell you and I are gonna get along great! At least I hope we are.... I'm so glad you came to be part of the fun.

(listen to me.... it sounds like it hasn't been aeons since I've been on here on a regular basis or something :rotfl2:)

We are so excited to meet everyone and have fun. This is our 4th DCL cruise. We are DVC members. And love anything/everything Disney.

OK... we're not even going to beGIN about how envious I am of you.... DVC and 4 cruises!?!?!?!? You're living my dream.

Shhhhhh... y'all don't tell KC.

And the SM, he tried to explain ,but?????

There's a link in my signature that goes to a page where it was explained. Maybe that would help?

Also my 16 year old DS is looking forward to ziplinining with King Charmings DS. He loves sports, video games, chess, shuffleboard. He's a bit on the shy side too, but a real nice young man.

Check out the workbook. Depending on how you feel about your DS having an IM (or using yours) maybe he and EM#1 could chat before the cruise.

Me, I am a big talker, so please be patient with me. I work at a PC help desk all day, so I love to talk face to face.
As you prob can tell by now-LOL

Yeah, you and I are gonna get along great!!! Like I don't love to talk? And PC help is something I CANNOT do. I'm a programmer... put me in a room with a fresh supply of Mt. Dew and popcorn and I can code all day long and make a computer sing. But to deal with folks at a help desk? I would be out of work within a day or so. I just don't have the patience. Sooner or later I'd tell someone "please take your computer back to the store because you just don't have an idea of how to use it. I'm sure you're a very nice person and all but ... um... no."

See... I do much better as a programmer. :woohoo:

Here's the Mouse family at DL last fall. Note that the goofy dude in the back totally barged his way into our picture. What's up with that? :rotfl2:

Denise, you crack me up!!!!!! I am sooo looking forward to meeting you face to face! Even if I'm not fantastic with the computer, we are both Disney freaks right?

A huge welcome to Irish Belle...we are a fun group. I am one of the Secret Mickey chairpersons. Think secret Santa. You have a person that you are assigned to and you deliver little treats to their state room via room host that you catch in the hall, or left in the fish extender that is tied to the "fish" outside your stateroom on the wall. Our rules are listed on the spreadsheet at the bottom under secret mickey info or something like that. It's really easy and it gives up Disney freaks an opportunity to spread a little pixie dust to one special person on the cruise. Secret Mickey assignments have not been made yet, so you are right on time...no worries...

Took only a half an hour due to my brain hiccups, but I corrected our stateroom on the spreadsheet. Sorry for the scare.
