How can I find out or can you find out where we will be each day of the trip (sea day, in this port, ect) and if that day is casual, formal, semi, ect??
Did that make sence? It did in my head :rotfl:

So excited!!! My son brought in yesterday's mail, and we got a "My Travel Kit from DCL"...I can't believe we can book onboard activities in August!!!!! Bring it on peeps...

I was thinking maybe we should have a celebrating anniversary thing on board. What do you think? We're celebrating our 10 years with a vow renewal. Yeah for all the anniversaries!

Just in case you missed the 20% discount offer by Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel, the deal is back through end of June. We missed last month's promotion because DD has done the Dolphins Encounter in Cabo last year and said she was only interested in Royal Swim (but she will not be old enough). Lo and behold, she changed her mind and decided Dolphins Encounter is better than nothing... so thankfully, the discount is back! We're signed up for 1 pm.

We booked that one too! Have you booked your flights out of California yet? Prices are way high right now...waiting to see if SW has anything worth booking tomorrow! Are you flying out of LA?

Woo hoo!! My Fish Extender arrived today. I bought it off Ebay and the lady customized it for me. I had my choice of colors for each pocket, names, head gear, and title. She did a really nice job. Total cost including shipping was $33. Here's a pic:

Sooo cute! I can't wait to fill it for you! Was it gradysmom that you ordered from? How long did it take to get?

Yes, it was gradysmommy. I ordered it April 23rd. The reason it took so long was that she had some to make for June cruises and she asked me if I minded waiting until she finished those. Since our cruise isn't until November, I told her no rush.

I also got my customized WDW maps in the mail today. OMG. I just realized that we had Chinese food at the end of last week and my fortune said that good news would be arriving in the mail soon. :rotfl2:

I ordered these maps off the Disneyworld website here. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/customizedMaps/index?id=CustomizedMapsFlashPage&bhcp=1

You can pick which rides will be displayed on each map and also pick the theming (of course, it IS Disney) of the map. It took about 2 weeks for them to arrive. Since the girls have never been to WDW before, this is a great way to familiarize them with the parks. Unfortunately, the 4 park maps are printed double-sided, so I can't frame them. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to display them. Maybe I'll take them to Staples and get them laminated and we can hang them from the ceiling. :lmao: Here is what we got:

Love the maps...I am designing our fish extender now since gradysmom takes custom orders. I have been scouring the boards finding pics of ones I like. This is crazy!:surfweb:

Buying my air tickets tomorrow...realizing the small fortune we are paying for this trip is keeping me up at night. However, I also realize how fantastic cruising with the mouse is in the first place! Such is life!

I'll be on the web with you tomorrow morning as well. We're flying from Orlando to Raleigh NC after we get off the Magic that Sunday before Thanksgiving and flying home from Raleigh the day after Thanksgiving, so I want to snag those tickets first thing. I'll wait to buy our early November flight to Orlando just in case our Thanksgiving flights go down in price. That way, I can apply the credit to the early November flight. I'm thinking that I can probably get a good price on the early November flight (especially since it's a Wednesday) for at least the next few months, so there's no rush to buy it right now. Unless, of course, it's a screaming deal. Then I'll go for it.

I wonder if Jetblue will lower their fares? They were much lower a few months ago when they released their dates...we wanted to fly on JB because of the service and amenities. But I won't pass up a $99 each flight on SW. That's what I'm hoping for...what are you expecting tomorrow?:surfweb:

I got my Travel Kit from DCL today too!
Makes it all the more real!:dance3:

Woo hoo. Got our airfare today from SW!!:banana::banana:

The prices were so good that I bought all 3 legs.

SEA-MCO $119 OW
MCO-RDU Nonstop (only airline that does this) $97 OW
RDU-SEA Friday after Thanksgiving $129 OW

Total price for 4 of us for all 3 legs with taxes and fees - $1500 and NO baggage charges. Woot! :cool1: I had thought about delaying buying the SEA-MCO tickets since we are flying on a Wednesday in early November. That way, if the prices came down on our Thanksgiving flights I could use the credit against the SEA-MCO tickets. BUT, when I looked at SW fare calendar for November, this was 1 of only 2 days in the entire month of November when the price was $119. All other days were a minimum of $179. :scared1: I decided not to risk it and bought the tickets.

When I first started pricing this trip last year, it started out around $2300. So glad I waited!! Now, if only the price of a rental car will drop between now and November.

Yeah, we are all set with our flights. We bought our outbound flight back in April because it was only $110 on Delta nonstop from LAX to MCO. No luck with the flights back though, so I finally cashed in our AMEX points for Jetblue rewards. We redeemed three one-way tickets from MCO to Long Beach, with a stop in Austin I think.

Good luck with your flight arrangements. I hope you find a good deal on Southwest!

I booked one way rentals from the airport and drop off at Port Canaveral and vice versa. It came out to be around $55 each way.

That's about what I got for our one-way from the Port to MCO. We'll be there for 10 days beforehand and the best that I could do was a minivan from Thrifty for $500 for the 10 days (but that does include the drop off charge at the Port).:scared1:

Our problem is that we have so much luggage because we're going to be gone for 3 1/2 weeks, that I don't think we can fit it all in a full-size. But, I did get the mini van for only $50 more than the full-size for the 10 days, so that's good. If I could score a full-size for $300 for the 10 days, I'd make our luggage fit somehow - stuffed on the back seat floor, in between the girls in the back seat, on their laps, on my lap, between my feet. :lmao:
