Travelbee we are staying in 5020 which we haved stayed in before. Tried to get "your" room for a change of scenery but you had already booked it! Just happy to have a SPH for this cruise!

You're next to us...we have 5022 and 5024!!!!! Hello neighbor!!!:thumbsup2

Well, you're both just around the corner...still pretty close! My DD will turn 7 during the cruise and she'll so excited to know someone her age just around the corner!

This will be our first time getting a SPH and we'll excited! BTW - how is 5020? We have that room reserved for the med cruise in 2010.

Love it! My only complaint is that there wasn't a steamer trunk for extra storage. Location is fantastic!

I'm so excited to be near the kids clubs and theater...that way we can easily take the kids back and forth to the clubs. When we cruised on the Sovereign in '06 it was a 20 minute walk to get the kids back and forth to the kids clubs...it was a pita!

loveysbydesign & sandiegosusie:

Just showed DD where your rooms are in relations to ours. She's excited and ready to play!!!

"I would like to play with your 7-year old girl and your 8-year old girl." Allison (DD) asked me to type this. Loveysbydesign - My DD kept looking at the photo signature because she wanted to know what her "cruise friend" looks like!

My dd is the "social butterfly"of our family, wherever we go she makes friends quickly. She still talks about our 1st trip to WDW in '06 and how she made friends with a girl named Lauren at the parade at MGM Studios. She's so different then my older son, he has a few close friends and that's about it, whereas I think my dd is friend's with everyone in her entire school :rotfl:

My DD who will turn 9 on the cruise still talks about her "friend" Maude who she met at Illuminations at Epcot....in May 2005!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have failed in my self-proclaimed duty of celebrating milestone moments of anticipation...:sad2: :sad2:

All I can do is humbly submit myself to your castigation and wet-noodle lashings... :sad2: :sad2:

Yesterday marked 10 months until our Double Dip Delight! :cheer2:  :dance3: :yay:

I am a weekly counter - not a date kind of girl. I do have a DVC countdown think on my laptop that is counting days, hours and minutes but it is too high for me to deal with. And this -18 crappy weather isn't helping either. 10 months doesn't sound as bad as 292 days or 42 weeks from tomorrow.

I did book our airfare this week (on miles so it was $20) and I have a car rental for our arrival. We will take DCL transportation back - you can't beat that luggage handling they now do - put it in the hall on Friday night and pick it up off the luggage carousel at your destination airport. It is worth the price to me not to have to deal with it through customs and then at the airport.

Stay warm everyone. BRRRRRRR cold here in Michigan.

We're waiting for JetBlue to open up airfare....what airlines are open right now??

I fly Northwest and that was where my miles were. NW opens 11 months out - we shall see how many times it changes. I did look at Delta as well and while they were open for those dates, most of it was a 3 leg flight and I think two is plenty. Our last cruise I booked pretty early and in total I think the time change was right around 5 minutes so here is hoping that my 7:05AM departure doesn't get any earlier.

I LOVE your ticker! How do you make one?? Thanks!!

I actually would like 2, as we are 24 days away from WDW! (OKW) :yay:

If you look at the ticker there is a website to go to and create it. Then you take the code/link created and add it to your signature here in the DIS.

OKW - are you DVC? We are - since '93. LOVE it. We also own at SSR which is where we are going to stay before our 11/07 cruise so we can walk over to DTD and see Cirque.

Pretty much all the major carriers are booking November now - American, Continental, Delta, NW, United, etc.

I'm waiting for Southwest to open, which probably won't be until June or July.

Can any of you tell me which rental car companies have offices at/near the Port? I know that Budget does, but I'm wondering about Alamo and maybe National.
