Does anyone have all thier shopping done yet? I have a good start but not yet completed. I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and if you are travelling home today - have an easy time of it. I have to take DS back to college this afternoon. Or, when it starts snowing again, whichever comes first.

I finished with my SIL on Friday (3:30 a.m.) in line at Walmart...we got everything we needed including a new portable DVD for our cruise. I am going to start wrapping early this year just to make sure I have it all organized. If I can't cruise plan, I'll Christmas plan...as long as I'm obsessed with something, I'm good!

How awesome to have your Christmas shopping completed! I made good headway over the weekend as well - just need to get the tree and "trimmings" up and then can start to wrap (bag actually as I will never figure out how I managed before the gift bag invention).

Okay, just got back from a commando trip to Toys R Us and had to let you know that I found the cutest FE gifts for the girls...... Now if I only remember next October where I end up hiding them!!

Managed to get 6 gifts for $66. - used 2 gift cards so it ended up costing me only $30!! Maybe I should put the savings in the cruise fund....

FE gifts already??? Gotta jump when you see the right thing. Lucky you - although I already know what you all will be getting anyway as I seem to do the same thing each time I do this.

Snowing here - really nasty. 150 school districts in my neck of the woods were closed today. My worst problem was my driveway but the third time was a charm. While it being November will be nice, spring will be nice too.

Yes, we seemed to have missed the 25 cm that they were calling for last night. Instead we got freezing rain mixed with flurries - YUCK!! I don't think we'll be so lucky for the next one.

Yes, every time I see something for FEs, I can't seem to pass it up. But these were such a good bargain (3 for .99) that I would have kicked myself if I hadn't got them!!!

I need to look at a map and see where you are in relation to me. My oldest drove back from Ohio yesterday, started in just rain, got to MI and it went to freezing rain, sleet and then snow. I am sure that we have a foot on the ground - with more on the way. Oh happy day!

Well, no snow in the forecast for today but cold - -5C to you and a tropical 23F for me. And more snow expected daily - probably for the next 5 months! I usually don't mind so either that last birthday did me in or it just started too early as I don't usually feel this way until Valentine's day.

If you don't mind my asking, how many gifts do you buy? I don't mind buying some extras (especially with a good deal), but I don't have a clue what to even guess with beyond the list that Hypermommy made for us... Would you just take that list and add maybe 10% for later joiners?

I've got something in mind, but I'm a little worried that if I don't purchase now while I know I can get them, I won't find them later...

I'm kind of winging it! On our last cruise, there was no FE so I really have nothing to go on. I plan on sending down a box before we sail although that may just add to my stress! I will have extras and if there are any left over, my girls can always commit random acts of kindness and give them out....

You can do as you choose but most of the things I have received in the past are Oriental Trading party favor, gift type things. I do the same family gift each time that I have particiapted. It is great fun.

I will say, the list will grow, and I would imagine we will see a large spike about 2 or 3 months prior to our trip along with an increase as we go along.

I just figured that at 3 for .99, I could at least afford to get all the little girls something and it wouldn't break the cruise budget!
