We're going to try to stay at the Hilton @ Down Town Disney, and head back home on Sunday.

Oh and...we had paid the fuel surcharge too, but months ago we got an email saying it had been removed and would show up as an onboard credit.
anyone else get that email??

No email for me. I called this morning to the CC number to add OBC's to both cruises and had a chat with the lady that helped me. I guess the same thing happened last quarterbut she said she only took 2 complaints on the subject. It stinks that some managed to get it removed, some were never billed it (and good for you if you didn't have to pay or got a refund) but dang it rots my socks that it is even there. I feel I pay premium anyway since I used points but to think we are all on the same ship and some had additional fees and some didn't. Here I go, getting all worked up again. SORRY you all had to read it. I will try and behave now - yeah, right!

TinLizzy90 - I used Avery brand of magnet paper - it seems to work okay but pricey so I do most of mine on card stock and add a magnet to the back...

Thanks for the tip. Sorry about your glow sticks...I was having similar thoughts myself, I'll be careful.

So excited, Gradsmommy sent our FE today. Should get it in a few days. We will try to post a picture.

I think we drove her crazy with all the customization , but she's a great person and so easy to work with!!

:banana::banana:

She has been great to work with for us as well. Hopefully I will be getting an FE in a few weeks too.

So glad it's Friday. Think I'm heading out of the office now, guys. Have a great weekend!

Gail, congratulations, you had post #3000 on this thread earlier today!!!!:banana::banana:

WTG to all of us chatterboxes. Wouldn't surprise me to see us blow past 4,000 before the cruise. :mic::hyper2:

Post 3000? Well, if we are going to get to 4000, we need to keep uo the pace. I did some searching and this is that I found. And forgive me - I was not trying either time and don't pay attention to page locations or post numbers. I have been on threads where this is a game - to get the top of a page or to get to a specific post number.

Post 1000 - Mousemom11 made that one on 02/13
Post 2000 - I did that one on 08/02
Post 3000 - I am sorry to hog the big posts but did that 09/18 which was almost 7 weeks (ok 6 weeks and 5 days).

We can do this - we can, we can, we can.

We are heading to Alma today to watch Drew play soccer - or stand the sidelines as the case may be. He made the varsity team so could be, after warmups, he will become a cheerleader! He did see some playing time last week in Ohio but not much. But, he is only a sophomore so we have time.

And forgive me - someone on either this cruise or the the St. Croix one likes weather reports (I really do talk too much about the weather) but we had a frost warning this morning - 34 degrees right now but we are to get to the low 70's and I am sure we will. Leaves are changing and fall is in the air. I have begun thinking about the weather and our trip to the airport - we very well could have snow at that point. Gad zukes!

Wow 34 degrees. We won't get 34 degrees till maybe February. lol We live in Texas. Today will be in the low 90's.

Well, I better get off the pc my husband is waiting on me. We might get him a new car today. It all depends on how much we get for his trade in.

Have a great Saturday.
Frances

Good Morning! 50 degrees here, and frost warnings in the hill towns for tonight. My husband (the ski nut) is already praying for snow.

Of COURSE we can get to 4000 posts! We just need to pick up the pace a little. Let's see, if I check in 3xs a day, times what? 50 days, that's 150 posts for me alone - get 10 people to do that, and we're on a roll!

Hello all, here's my post to help us reach 4000!
Less than 2 months away! woo hoo!!!!!:goodvibes

Made carrot cake yesterday and froze it so it would hold together while I frosted it today. It did, but I sure didn't plan to be frosting cake at 5 am. Not much sleep around here last night. Did a little yard work, emptied the dish washer, paid the cc on line, made a couple phone calls. after this, I'll make lunch, prep the skewers for dinner, and take a nap. Not very exciting.

But, I don't have much more to do for our cruises except pack. FE's are done, FE gifts are done, Secret Mickey is done (but I need to wrap them.) Guess I'd better get busy on a map for the FE exchangers to use, too. Sometimes just writing out the list reminds me what's left to do. . .

Happy day!

Raining here, high in the 60s today. Supposed to get sunny again tomorrow, but fall is definitely in the air here. Mornings are cooler and the trees are starting to turn their fall colors.

I'm off to walk on the treadmill and then pick up DD8 from gymnastics workout. We're all heading over to my parents so DH can do a few house projects for them and then out to lunch. This afternoon I'm going to be arranging all my blank door magnet art so that I can finish and print them tomorrow over at my BFF's house. Then we'll all play Rock Band. :rockband:

Man...I WISH we were getting Fall weather here! It's supposed to be in the 100's for the next week in sunny Southern California! Too hot!

It's a balmy 57 here, hit around 40 last night.

Todays my B'day, OMG depressing:headache:, getting TOO close to the magic 50 mark.
People don't say I look it ,but I sure feel it:sad2:

But, then again, Irish Belle is cooking up my Favorite dinner tonight and watching the new Wolverine movie.

Jeez, are we dull or what?:upsidedow:upsidedow

On a happier note, we got our FE from Gradysmom yesterday. What a fantastic job she did. Can't seem to load it on the forum, but she is amazing.

55 days to go according to our vacation countdown clock:dance3:

Have a nice weekend everybody:):)

Happy Birthday!!! :bday:party:

I sympathize, I hit the big 5-0 last year. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think "Whoa, where did YOU come from"? :lmao:

Nope, you're not dull. Sounds like a lovely evening to me. Make sure you sit in your rocking chair and knit while you're watching the movie. :rotfl2:

I was one of the folks who like the Michigan weather report. I talked to my folks this morning that they were in the 40's, so much "warmer" than you. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to wearing the winter coat to the airport? I am hoping to avoid that here in Chicago.

Argh! Happy Talk like a pirate day to ye, mateys!!

Happy day!

LindaBabe, I don't know if you need to worry about the map. I believe Cynthia is planning on including this information in the mini-nav.

Todays my B'day, OMG

Happy, Happy Birthday!!!!

Not much going on at our house either. We gave a little money to the neighboring state's educational fund (read: we went to the casino in OK). We're about to head out and run some errands. Nothing too exciting - we are going to try to figure out how to hook the iPod up to the TV though.

About the posts - one thing we'll want to keep an eye on is the number of pages. Once we hit 250, they'll close the thread!

Have a great day, everyone!

Hello from sunny SoCal where the weather is sunny and in the 90s. They say it will be in the 100s over the next few days. Good thing they are going to start digging our pool on Monday :cool1:. The bad news is I had to downgrade from a cat 9 to a cat 12 to pay for a pool safety fence so DS-3 won't drown in the death trap we are installing in our yard. I still haven't received my FE from gradysmommy. Now I know why - you have all been hogging her time!!!! Hopefully it will come next week. Have a great weekend!

Hello All!
My laptop died and I am now up and running with a pretty new one! My husband was able to pull off all my important files so I will be working on the Mini-Nav this week.

The weather here in the DC area is Perfect! I have fall fever!! ( My favorite season!!) I have my FE gifts done and a nice pile of pre-packing started in the guest room.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Cynthia

Sorry you had to pay the fuel charge. :sad2:

Todays my B'day

Happy Birthday !!!!:goodvibes

This morning we spent the morning buying a car for my DH (work car). Then I spent the afternoon baking and decorating a cake for my sister's birthday. I will try to post it soon. I took a couple of cake decoration courses. It's a lot of fun. Well good night.
