11/14/09 - Special Western - 2 CC stops PART2

OPPS :confused3 Sorry that one got by me. I want to make sure everyone knows I had a partner on this project... Mrp4352 aka Michelle! We can try to update the mini-nav on line before we sail, so if there are any other changes please PM me ASAP.
Cynthia

Not a problem at all! The people in 8538 might have wondered why everyone was stopping by to look at their door though.;) Like I said before, you guys did a great job:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Everybody, Please feel better SOON!

Yes, please everyone take care of yourself. It is beginning to get to the point here at work that I may have to threaten my boss with bodily harm if he doesn't stop seeing how far he can spread his germs. He never makes an attempt to cover his mouth when he sneezes or coughs. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denise--Congratulations on the job!! ::MinnieMoGreat!! I am so glad for you and your family!! Getting the boys settled in school will help a lot.:teacher: Have you found a place to stay? Once you get everything settled, you will feel a lot less pressure!!
Cynthia, the mini-navigators look awesome--I really like the deck maps you made.:goodvibes

Michelle -- I already have the room number, too. I made some magnets and am planning on leaving them a FE. They should be really surprised!! What a great thing for their daughter to think up.:bride:
We'll see you all in about 14 more days. We will be at POFQ 4 days before we cruise!!
Barbara:beach:

Mini-Nav's are awesome. THANKS!!!!

We'll be in Orlando on the 11th to spend a day at Universal. Then the 12th exploring downtown Orlando and a visit to Downtown Disney. The 13th we'll be heading slightly north of Orlando to visit the grave of my wife's grandmother, then to Port Canaveral.

I also just got an email stating the DCL House Party kits should arrive no later than the 6th.. WooHoo!!!!! More stuff to stuff into a suitcase!!

:yay: We brought our 12 yo pup home! Xray showed a tumor on the spleen and surgery to remove it was successful. We won't know if it was cancerous until next week... keeping our fingers crossed.

Congratulations! Pixie dust to your pup for good results! pixiedust:

I counted my suitcases for the ship. . . 5 . . . and a box.

More dust for the sickies! Get BETTER SOON!

Well, the Teddy Bears can't carry carryons, and I need a hand free for the cane, so we have more luggage and fewer carryons! It's up to 6 bags and a box, now.

Does anyone one know if they are going to discount any CC packages since we are there for 2 days?

Less than 2 weeks Woo Hoo!:woohoo:

I've never seen it happen, makaylee, but that doesn't mean it doesn't. I would think, like the spa specials, they look at their bookings and put the discounts in the NAV for the things or times that aren't selling well.

Up and at 'em! I was too excited to sleep!

Does anyone still need spreadsheet info posted? If you're needing it I'll do it. It doesn't take but a few minutes.

Cynthia and Michelle, excellent, excellent job on the mini-nav!!!!! That turned out sooooo cool!

Hypermommy - I've sent you a PM.

Ruh roh... I guess I'm in trouble now. :scared1:

Ye, Annie(a/k/a irish belle=DW) was right.
And you doubted this or something????

Yes, we finally figured out where we're going to be living. It's an older neighborhood just south of Sanford which is on the NE side of town. I'll be about 30 min from my job. That'll work out perfectly because there are a couple of podcasts I love that I haven't been able to listen to. Now I can do so on the way to/from work!!! :rotfl2: But get this... we take possession of the place on the 10th. But KC has to be in Tally on the 10th and 11th because EM#1 is marching in the Vets Day parade. So he'll be driving a truckload of stuff down on the 11th. Hope we can get it all down there because if memory serves we have something that we just have to do on the 14th..........

Let us know... pixie dust for the pup!!!

Hey there!

I was just sitting here prepping FE stuff (yeah, I'm finally getting around to it) and realized I never finished the graphic for the dolphin excursion. Y'all had some great suggestions as to what to change. I'd probably be able to finish it up tonight or tomorrow if you'll be kind enough to remind me what your suggestions were. Please?

Here's the graphic again as it stands now.

Dolphins.jpg

Maybe the dolphin Ds are too much? I could just change all the lettering to Disney font and move it around.

In fact that was so easy to do that I just threw it together. What do y'all think of this one?

Dolphinscopy2.jpg

Maybe it should be "dive with dolphins" instead of "do the dolphins".... maybe it's just me but that just doesn't sound right, ya know?

Anyway.... lemme know what you think of either one and I'll get it finished up and available to everyone to iron-on to a t-shirt if you want to.

You don't read the thread a couple of days and I had to catch up on like 5 pages! Hope everyone stays healthy and flu free! I am hoping to stay H1N1 free (as we did not get insurance):scared1: and I am working at the hospital for the next six days straight so needless to say there is a whole lot of hand washing going on!:lmao: Lisa you will be fine! You are a WOMAN, You are CANADIAN and you are ORGANIZED! Just remember these things build character!:banana:Take care everyone and I will see you all real soon!:thumbsup2

That is awesome news. And :pixiedust that the test results are good.

Up and at 'em! I was too excited to sleep!

The time on this post is later than some of yours have been of late. But, I totally understand the "too excited to sleep" syndrome. I am beginning to get it myself and it is way too early for me.

You and Bruce travel safe and we will see you next Saturday!

Glad that everything is falling into place. Take care and don't get too stressed about things - with everyone working toward the same goal, it will get done!

Well, another week down. We leave Thursday - only 3 more work days and I will be out of here. My plan is to get packed this weekend, except for that last minute stuff that can't go in until the last minute - and I am working on paring that down as best I can too. Since we won't see our check through bags until later in the day on Friday, I can't trust them to have anything I might need as soon as we arrive so that will all have to go in the carry-ons. That can sort of be a scary thought - guess I will need my quart zip lock bag at the ready.

I am off to run errands to day - POURED most of the day yesterday and windy too. I just didn't want to do the grocery store in that. Better today so I will get that taken care of - another thing off my list! Enjoy your weekend and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

BOO! Happy Halloween. I feel like such a scrooge. I'm so not in to it this year. Just get me on the boat already.

Baby keeps talking about the big boat, the airplane and everyone who's coming. This will get old way before it's time to go. I figured she was too little to fixate on it. Guess the Mouse has his ways.

I have to add my kudos to the mini-nav. GREAT work. Thanks!

I realize now that I could pack so much lighter if I didn't have to bring so many things-that-make-me-look-presentable (aka toiletries). Ugh. I can't imagine if I was high maintenance (DH agrees that I'm not, so no comments from the peanut gallery :rotfl:).

I'm planning on buying our tickets tomorrow for the turtle farm on-line from Boatswains. Their ad says the transportation is provided. Should I call them to arrange that? I am taking the grandkids while DH goes snorkeling and I'm very nervous about this.

I'd love to take credit for the maps, however, that was one of the FANTASTIC projects that :worship:Michelle (Mrp4352) worked on!
