Just a heads up to everyone on deck 8. Due to a cabin change(thanks Mom!), we are in 8034, not 8538. So if you are looking for the message board, that's where it will be. The cabin number is correct in the list of cabins and on the FE map.

Sounds like a plan to me!! Now to convince the baby. She's permanently attached to me (mommy's girl). It takes a while for her to even go w/daddy sometimes.

Hypermom - smoothies DO cost more (ask my wallet from last cruise. Kids LOVED them at dinner). Good luck with the move.

KC - good luck with all those boxes. I can honestly say I do not envy you. Moving is such a chore.

To everyone - TGIF, although I appear to be in the office working an install, I will be done shortly and can head out for a visit to the bank (travelers checks) and the grocery store.

And - two weeks from today - I will be at Castaway Cay! We have the jet skis booked at 11:00 and I am really looking forward to that. Then we will lunch and head over to SB. Time can officailly slow down in my book - this will all be over before I know it.

Wow, I've missed a lot! Bronchitis has taken me down this week, but at least I tested swine flu negative.

Seems there are others here doing the antibiotic dance - hope you are feeling better, lindababe!

The Mini-Navigators look awesome. I just printed mine. Woo-hoo!

I had hoped to have had my FE gifts shipped out by then end of the week, but that is just not going to happen. I'm flying solo here, as my better half has been in Japan and Korea all week. I always have such great timing when I get sick! I didn't even start packing yet...that was supposed to happen this week, too.

I am glad to hear that Denise is looking at permanent hire - very good news!

And to binky1 - sorry to hear that your getting to the boat adventure got more adventurous. I know that you'll be able to make it all work, though.

Isn't that mini nav the BEST? We don't have a colored printer but I wll get someone to print me a color copy for a keepsake. I will use and mark up the black & white that I have. I have 2 options when duplexing and of course, it was the second option but worked like a charm.

Linda - we leave for Nick and Cara's next Thursday, taking lasagna dinner and spending the night there and then we fly out on the 6th. We are staying at SSR for the night, renting a car on Saturday morning, stopping for beer and Pepsi and will head over to the port. I want to stop and see Shirley before we board but then we will be right there. Can't miss lunch in PC.

Some of you may have seen a plea to help parents celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on the cruise. The parents don't read the board, but their daughter is trying to plan some extra pixie dust for them.

Mom (MsTxMom) has come up with a fun idea! We're going to make an FE for the celebrating couple. If you have a spare gift and wouldn't mind dropping it in their bag, that would be fantastic! PM me for the stateroom if you'd like to help!

I have been in contact with their daughter Patti. I have several magnets made up for them for their door. The FE is a great idea. I was going to give them a little something as well.

Well-reluctantly went to the doctor today. I have the flu, not swine flu. I had gotten the seasonal flu shot a couple of weeks ago. Ray came back last night and he has a sinus infection. We both have scripts being filled. better now than right before we go. Chris-the youngest now has a cough and runny nose.

I did manage to crank out the 58 halloween goodie bags for the classes yesterday and take them in. I had to bow out of the halloween parties at school today.

Needless to say, the painting or drawing on the pumpkin is sounding better and better. there's just no time to carve now. Their soccer jamboree is tonight and between the 2 older boys-5 games tomorrow.

The mini navs look great.

Denise congrat on the perm hire at the job.

I'm glad to hear others are recovering.

Denise & KC - congrats on the permanent position. Yes, moving sucks but you sure have a nice reward coming at ya in 2 weeks.

Pixie dust for good health to all. If it comes down to resting vs doing FE gifts and such, opt for rest. We want YOU on the cruise, not your stuff.

I'm working on the travel notebook today, getting all our paperwork in order, and taking care of all the November bills today since we're going to be gone all month.

I showed the girls pictures of the Dream last night. We all can't wait to go on the new ship. I think we'll wait until the Fantasy starts sailing in 2012 so that we can do a 7-night on the new ships. Looks like you'll find me at the re-booking center on our cruise.
