11/14/09 - Special Western - 2 CC stops PART2

Hello all... well, those who are left. I am writing again for NC-Monkey and NCTiggggr. They are freaking out! Now they are worried that they didn't pack enough or they packed too much.
I have been trying to calm their nerves, but they stumped me on this one issue. Somewhere on these pages, I had a number of people who were participating in the F.E's with ages listed. I helped Debi count everything out, making sure she had enough for everyone and even a few extra's just in case. Apparently, these numbers were not listed in the mini nav. I did see that a few people were questioning the count difference between the spreadsheet and the nav. Will someone have an extra copy of the spreadsheet available? Or is there a way we can get a copy of one before they leave tomorrow?
I am trying to help them out as much as I can. To be honest, I will be glad when they are finally on the ship safe and sound. I won't have to answer any more questions. I'll leave it up to ALL OF YOU to answer all of the questions they have! Good luck!!!

Tell them not to worry - the #s are fairly accurate and with a few extra, they'll be fine. Some people who originally said they were participating are not and have been replaced by others. I'm sure that everyone will be very pleased with whatever they do receive.

No Freaking Out Allowed!!! And tell Tristan that his magnets are ready!!

I may have worded my question wrong. What they are looking for are the ages of the children in each stateroom. How are they to know what age appropriate gift to put in for each child?

As I have never participated in the FE's on either of my cruises, this was one area that was fairly new to me. I did suggest to them to be a bit more general on the gifts, not to be so age specific, but they chose to do it the hard way.

Either way, they put their hearts into their effort to do it right. So if anyone has this info, could you please send it to me by tomorrow (before noon) or make a copy and give it to them at the port. They would certainly appreciate it.

The decorations will go up while we are on board and be completed before we finish the cruise.

Looks like we're that last holdouts as we don't leave until ~3:00 tomorrow. Today is laundry, packing & praying for healthy kids. They keep putting me over the edge with their headaches, 99 temp, etc. Not QUITE sick, but just enough to make me freak out that we'll have to cancel. You should hear all the plans going on in my head right now.

I bow down to the effcient packing . 1 large/1 small for 4? I'm going to blame my packing on baby stuff (diapers, etc) and FEs (I REALLY hope you all like them). I haven't started packing, so there is hope I won't have too many suitcases.

Hope the move is going/went well, Denise.

But, I have maybe 10 more things to throw in my bag, and last minute trip errands have been run. I got my pre-cruise pedicure last night, which is when it really sank in that I was leaving in a couple days. Thank goodness!!! Things have been crazy here - and we can't wait to be on that boat.

Well guys, I'm still here. Gonna start the packing today. I must say I'm not that efficient in packing. I think we'll probably have 2 large suitcases, 1 garment bag, a couple of carry ons, and the boys will have their backpacks packed with snacks, gaming, school stuff and anything else they can fit in there. Gotta get all the meds together. The neb. machine along with all the meds take up quite a bit of room. Don't know how I'm packing all the FE gifts yet. I have to carry them onto the ship. One of the items is very fragile. better get going.

Here's some pixie dust for everyone staying healthy, getting better. No trip cancellations allowed.

Just two more wake-ups

The locals in Orlando would like to remind you to leave the cold weather home. It was almost cilly out this morning there.

Back in Tally tonight for a second load in the big rental truck. It's like riding 5 hours in a paint shaker. So looking forward to smoothness.

We are not an unruly group, we just enjoy DOD's.

Really looking forward to meeting you characters, I'll be the one with the big beige hat, big cup, and silly 'can't wipe this smile off' grin. See you in 36 hours.
