Just thought I'd let ya'll know I have made another purchase toward this trip. Two dresses for formal night. One for Becca and the other for Stia. They'll be stylin'!!

Ok, now I know there's always some who don't follow the rules and consider formal night 'optional'. Black tie = the shoe laces on his nikes.

Well, I'm proud of this group! We're gonna show them what style is!! :thewave:


Now, what are we doing on Pirates night? I'm ready to purchase the theatrical quality pirate wench costume....but I'm not going to be alone out there!!

We're renting a tux from cruiseline formalwear. I haven't worn a tux since my first wedding mistake. LOL

The plan is to go and get fitted this weekend.

We will be bringing DH tux. (He plays trumpet for weddings, so he owns one.) He thinks it is neat to dress up for it and I think I have been convinced to let Aubrey wear her Cinderella costume! LOL Should make for some interesting pics!

I don't know if I will get DH to dress Like a pirate, but I think we will be in the tropical gear like Susan.

Ok was thinking about buying one of those "neat sheets" for the beach (especially CC when I know we will spend a lot of time on the sand) have any of you used them? Are they expensive? Would it be worth it?

The Chiefs will probably not make the superbowl, but they will certianly make the confrence champ game. Why would you put so much presure on P.Holmes. If you were injuried you would want the time to heal. Between Susan and Trish all I hear about it fantasy this and fantasy that. To bad your both in the LOOSERS brackets.

We've ALL got full-on pirate-wear for Tuesday night (unfortunately no Jack Sparrows over here )

As for formal night: men in suits - boys in tuxes!

Whoo hoooo - tomorrow it will be 7 weeks until we sail!!!!!

Just checking in to say "HI!!!!" I really miss our chats. My computer is still down (on DH right now). The entire hard drive has to be reformated . DH swears it is AIM, who knows?

Tracy - you're in the same boat I was this summer!! DH said the same thing over here about AIM, but like you said...."who knows?" We had to buy a new hard drive and then start from scratch. Of course that was after a couple of weeks of TRYING to reformat everything..... I'm scared to install it again, though - I can't live without my internet!!! I'd rather have no TV or radio!

From what I can deduce, it looks like our meet will be at 2:30 in the Promenade lounge - am I right all?

We don't follow football either! DH would "LIKE" to.... I have never understood it. (and I always get my way )
he is a Giants fan. I made a deal with him when we first met, that I would watch the super bowl if his team was in it.... SO far the only time they have been in was during one our our WDW trips.... He said we didn't spend all the time and money to sit around and watch at game... So I got out of it

Whew! Glad to know I'm not the only one! LOL DH will watch the superbowl and there are a few games that I will watch, but not something we "have" to see. I was beginning to think something was wrong with us! LOL

By the way, does anyone know what size the porthole windows are in a cat 8? We might upgrade at the port if they aren't completely booked, but thought that if it was a small window it might not be worth the price. We don't want a verandah because of Aubrey being so small. Thanks!

Most of the windows in the Cat 8's are picture window sized (about 4 feet). There are some outside cabins that have 2 small portholes. I believe the only ones that have those are Cat 9's though. I am sure someone will come along to confirm....
