11/10/05 Wonder 3-nights Anyone going?

I will also plan to stop by. It will be really nice to put names with email names and faces to names. Does anyone know when they think they will get to the terminal. I would like to get there early but also dont want to be too early because the grandkids are young and don't want everyone overwhelmed before we even start. We will be staying in Emerald Island before the trip and will be driving over so will have flexibility as to when to arrive.

We will be at Disney-Boardwalk Villas so I was planning on getting there around 11:30am.

Mickey Pool 4:30 sounds great :cheer2: Don't forget to wear something lime green (DIS colors) so that we can spot each other. A green ribbon or pin is easy to see at a distance.

If you would like to share a table at the late seating PM me. There are 3 of us. We should call with requests before. Saves time on the ship.

We'll probably arrive at the terminal about noon. Tiffany towncar always got us to the port very early. No lines. This time we may take the DCL bus just to experience it. Downside will be the lines. The characters in the port made the wait entertaining though.

We're staying at the Grand Floridian arriving on Monday. DS#1 is meeting us there. He's a student at the Univ. of South Florida, Tampa. We reserved a room for him at the GF too so that we could have a little family reunion. It sure will be nice to see him again. Haven't seen him since August

Have you all made your door signs yet? I'm working on ours.

Kbeam, We're from Hunterdon County :cool1:

Haven't even started the door sign yet oy! We plan on getting there around noonish. I have to get the boys from school and then we are on our way.

shhhhh ! it's a surprise!

Door signs???!!!! I'm new to all this! What kind of door sign? We, too, are picking our girls up from school on Friday. Cannot wait. We're staying at the French Quarter 11/5 till the cruise. We're in Ocean County.

I was looking at an old navigator and it listed the mandatory drill time for 4pm
and the sailaway party for 4:15 to 5:15 pm. Do you think the 4:30 meet time should be changed??

Hi all, I posted a thread and got the times for the fire drill and sailaway party.
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=931589
Fire drill: 4pm
Sailaway party: 4:30pm

How about a DIS meet at 3pm at the Mickey Pool?

I think we will be some of the only people on this cruise from the West Coast! Myself and DH, DD 10 and DS 8 will be in Pirate attire for Pirate Night. My son was a pirate last Halloween and his outfit still fits so we are recycling that and my daughter found a really cute outfit she likes for her Halloween outfit this year. My husband and I eneded up buying costumes. We inteed to get plenty of wear out of them at various Halloween events before the cruise including Mickey's Halloween Treat at Disney's California Adventure on 10/29. I am so excited about this upcoming trip!!! :sunny:

Well I am sure we will make you feel right at home on our east coast. :grouphug:

It sems that I am going to hit the stores to either get something "piratey" or "hawaiian" for pirate night.

Michboro I meant to say thanks for catching our almost mess up with the DIS meet.

Everyone please post when you get your docs. I am going out of my mind waiting for this trip.

I can't say much at home because it is a surprise for my mom and there are only 3 of us in my family. My brother is at work at nights so it's normally just mom and me and boy do I just want to turn to her and say, "30 more days before our cruise".

Okay everyone, I am home today so I am probably going to be posting all day long.

What are you doing about pictures? I have a digital camera and I was planning on bringing my laptop so I could download pictures everynight. I do have 2 memory cards but I don't think that they would be enough and I really don't want to buy another. One is 256mb and the other is 512mb.

I know that's still a lot of picures but I love taking pictures. So what are you guys doing?

3PM at the Mickey Pool Works for me too!!

It's coming up real soon!!!!!

Anyone else saying at the Raddison the night before?

3pm @ the Mickey Pool sounds T-riffic!

Pirate night,oh my. Is that what used to be the tropical island style night?
DS has a pirate costume but this wench doesn't. I'll whip something up. Too bad I had a great dress for the tropical theme. Maybe I could be an island wench pirate pirate:
Still working on our DIS pins and door magnets. :bounce:

I know about the door signs but what are DIS pins?

Whenever we go to a DIS meet I make up pins/badges with our DIS names in green. I've been using the "Fun badges" from Michaels but there are probably other companies that make them at craft stores. They're round clear & plastic with a pin on the back. You just open them up & put your paper badge inside. Snap it shut. I used Publisher to make the paper design which is on my other computer. I'll send an example of last years. After it's all put together I put a green ribbon behind it. They're easy to spot in crowd. :wave2:

Just an FYI to anyone who can see their reservation online....We've been upgraded from a cat 12 to a cat 9...deluxe oceanview room. YIPPEEE!!! I would have been thrilled with a cat 10 just to get the split bath!
