DCL still didn't assign me a stateroom yet, and usually they don't send documents out until stateroom is assigned. My travel agent told DCL to send my documents directly to me right away, even though stateroom is not assigned yet. My travel agent said even though stateroom is usually assigned by now, it is nothing to worry about. I should have my documents by Thurs. or Fri.

Hey Michboro hoping you get upgraded. Won't it be cool if you got a cat 4 or 5.

We are planning to leave WDW about 10am to arrive at the port between 11 and 11:30. I hope to find a place to buy a bottle or two of wine on the way.

I also was wondering if we could use our EZ pass from WDW to the port and back to the airport. I remember last trip wishing we had it.

I am really getting soooo excited!!!! But feel overwhelmed by all I still have to do.

Hi all- Just got home from work and there were the little brown boxes for the trip!One for each family. Just checked them to see if they got eveyone with the right family! NSmith- I am going to bring the EZ passes just in case we can use them. It will be easier than searching for toll money. Hope to see you all very soon!

FROM WHAT I HEARD, YOU CAN TAKE A BUS UNDER 2.00 A PERSON OR TAKE A CAB FOR ABOUT 25.00 ONE WAY.

IT IS LOCATED AT A BEAUTIFUL RESORT (FORGOT WHICH ONE WILL LOOK AT MY PASSPORT FOR INFO) I HAVE HEARD YOU CAN SWIM IN THERE POOL, AT NO COST, LOCATED NEXT TO THE BEACH. NO ONE REALLY CHECKS.

HERE IS AN OLD THREAD, THAT I COPIED & PASTED LAST YEAR

I WILL START A THREAD ABOUT IT, & SEE THE GOOD & THE BAD ABOUT IT.

To go cheaply, Walk up through the market and look for
the bus stop (wrong side of the road, remember).

You want the #10 bus that's going left to right as you
stand withyour back to the market - I think it will be
marked cable beach, but I would n't swear to it. It will cost you a dollar each, each way, unless they've recently raised the rates.

This is not a huge bus like the city buses back in the states, but the folks are friendly, and I enjoyed it.

Hi all, Our docs came today.

It was at our front door so I got it instead of my mom. I can't believe that I am going to pull this off. She still has no idea about this trip.

I can't wait to go to bed tonight so I can read our docs. It will be my nighttime reading for the next 12 nights.

Hi Nov. 10th Dis group. You will all be boarding the Wonder right after my Nov. 6-10 group leaves. Someone in our group reported that as of Nov. 6th, Blue Lagoon Beach Day and the Dolphin Encounter excursions have been cancelled by Disney. Disney is busy making other arrangements for the people who have booked them and everyone will be contacted.

Check out the last few pages of our Nov 6th cruise thread if you need more information. Fortunately my son and daughter-in-law booked the Dolphin Encounter directly from their site.

Thanks Patricia for the information. I did a little research on the board over the weekend and I think the thread noted the hotel to be either the Wynhdam Hotel or the Nassau Beach. Stated the Raddison wasn't very welcoming. Cab runs about $5 per person (but probably a $20 min) and is a 15-20 min ride. The bus is a dollar or two but trip longer and the stop is next to the Hagen Das Ice Cream Store on Bay Street. Now if only I had saved the thread # you could have read it yourself! I,m slowly learning how to get around these boards I'm sure that whatever we all decide to do it will be Wonderful.

My husband and I are thrilled to be taking our children on this cruise - DS age 14 (has CP) , DS 13, DD 11, DS 7, DD 6, DD 4, DS 3 - we are also taking my husband's sister and her husband for some extra hands! We have 3 rooms on deck 5. Who knew there were so many details to arrange - I think we are almost ready and will pack the piles in the suitcases this weekend - we are doing 4 days at WDW first - this is a first for all of us. Looking forward to it!

Hi! I,m sure everyone is busy getting ready. We will be heading out this Saturday and I know many of you are also getting to Florida early for some pre-cruise time. We wish everyone a safe journey. Looking forward to our long awaited trip!

I just do not feel like I have done enough reading/planning. When we have gone to WDW...I have done mega research. I have poured over these boards (as always ), but I just don't feel like I'm ready.

I'm getting excited about going!! We're leaving on Sunday morning to spend 4 nights in Disney World before the cruise. I have to start packing now.

We leave in 11 hours, the limo (shhhh its a surprise, don't tell the kids!) at 7:30am tomorrow to begin our adventure to Walt Disney World, looking forward to meeting you all on the ship, 3pm Mickey's Pool see you then. Gotta go, I'm not packed yet!!!
