11/10/05 Wonder 3-nights Anyone going?

We are from California but will be on the Jersey Week cruise. Have DD10 and DS 8. Would be interested in DIS meet if there is one.

Hi! We are from Jersey, with 2 sons who will be 6 and 7. We are not taking passports, since we don't have them, but will be taking birth certificates and photo id driver licenses. I would like to get together for Dis meet. Does anyone have an idea for time and place? I can't believe it is less than 2 months away!!

Forgot to mention that we decided to go for the passports. We have 3 of the 4 now, just waiting for one more to be processed and come back and we'll be all set!

Jersey Week is basically the first full week in November. It's the Teacher's Conference and some of the schools have off the full week, others just the last 2 days. Lots of people take the oppourtunity to hit WDW then.

As for a meet...I have a 14 yr old and a 7 yr old. The 14 probabily wouldn't be too interested but the rest of us would be. This is our 1st cruise too so I don't know when the best time would be but I'm guessing right after the sail away party would be a great idea. So who wants to volunteer to get this shing dig going????

As for passports, we don't have them and will just be using bc's and dl's for id.

That fourth passport came in today's mail. I just feel more secure having them. Ours will be good till 2015 and the kids till 2010. I guess I had better start planning that international travel!

The time is getting close! I have been thinking about going through the closets and drawers where I have been stashing away thing I have been putting away for the family for the trip! Seems like getting ready for Christmas when you know you put something somewhere but are just not sure where! I have been enjoying doing this planning but I think most of the group thinks Im getting a little nutty. I did warn everyone that they better be sure they got their appropriate ID ready! Other than that we are pretty much ready to go and really looking forward to it! If a dis meet can happen that would be great but time is so short with just the three days. In any event I also got some of the Green Mickey paint chips and plan to make tags etc. Dont think I'll let the rest know that they will be Dis-ers by proxy!LOL

We'll also be on the 11/10 Wonder cruise. We're starting in Disney World 11/5. I have 2 daughters, one 13 (a month shy of 14) and one 11. Hope there will be others their ages!

Having a DISer table would be fun. We have an 8:30 seating? We could all request tables together.

we have first seating and will be a gang by ourselves with little ones. sounds like it would be nice for the young teens

We're driving down to Florida from NJ for this trip, so I decided to make my 2 daughters surprise goodie bags. I found, at Target, Disney disposable cameras, Disney chapsticks, Disney playing cards. I also got the new Disney DVD board trivia game. I thought that could help pass the time for them...for all of us! Any other ideas out there?

4:30 by the Mickey Pool would be great. I believe this would be after the safety drill so this would be a perfect time.


I live in PA but I work in Jersey.

We actually went to WDW this Aug and came back with a bit of a surprise: we bought into DVC. So we decided to head down to Disney on 11-8 and stay at the Boardwalk Villas for 2 days. Then we are going to stay at the Sarotoga Springs Resort on sunday night. We will return on Monday. yep, I am going to take 2 days off work. I feel so guility (not!)

I can't wait either especially since this is a surprise for my mom. She has no idea Let's hope that she doesn't open the cruise documents when they come in the mail.

I am also game to linking dinning. We have late seating.

I believe the sail away party is at 5pm and the mandatory fire drill is at 4:15pm so we should be fine.

I will also plan to stop by. It will be really nice to put names with email names and faces to names. Does anyone know when they think they will get to the terminal. I would like to get there early but also dont want to be too early because the grandkids are young and don't want everyone overwhelmed before we even start. We will be staying in Emerald Island before the trip and will be driving over so will have flexibility as to when to arrive.
