11/06/11 Dream 4 Day

I beg to differ. The ONLY prince we know, from the context of the film, can actually cash the checks he's writing is Prince Naveen.

Ian, I had to look up who Prince Naveen is? I haven't seen the last few Disney animated films, except for all the PIXAR ones.

MNSSHP and Disney Dream Pirate Night where Jay and I get to be Pirates twice:

jamomo and it's not too late to get in the group! We have a meet at 3 on embarkation day at vista. I made my magnets last week, and am still searching for good trip reports if anyone has any ideas.

Favorite Disney character - Pluto
Favorite Princess - Aurora, Belle and Tiana
Favorite Pixar - Lightning McQueen
Favorite Winnie Character - Poo or Tigger - heck all of them - who am I kidding?! I even love Eeyore :lovestruc
I also love the buddies especially Rosebud - of course that's probably because I have a cute little/big golden retriever girl named Nola for my favorite place and place we got engaged - New Orleans! Also the home of my favorite pro football da Saints!

Anyone have any suggestions? I am a little torn - my bday is CC day and I have ressies for Palo which I have done before for dinner. I really want to enjoy pirate night (even though I know that menu isn't the best on Disney) so I was thinking if I could book brunch when I get onboard maybe we would drop our Palo dinner?! Am I crazy? Or does that make any sense at all? I would like to take our son to dinner during late dining and dress up etc. I feel like trying to do both will become stressful. pirate: Thanks!

Everyone: What is your favorite Disney/Pixar/Muppets Characters ?[/COLOR]

Phil and Jay

Ariel is my favorite Princess

I love all the Pooh characters, but Eeyore is my most fav

I also like Tinkerbell (I want to get a Tinkerbell tattoo on my ankle, just don't have the nerve :)

Hi all!

Everyone: What is your favorite Disney/Pixar/Muppets Characters ?
I guess Tink would be my favorite...my dh likes Stitch, my DD is a big Donald Duck/Chip and Dale fan, and my ds...well, it's not quite disney but it is in the parks...he likes Darth Vader!

Question, I haven't been on in a while and I know I am signed up for FE's...but when do we find out how many we need to bring? Should they have our names on them? I will be doing my shopping on the 22nd and I need to make sure I know the quantities and accessories I will need to have them all ready to go before the cruise! I can't believe it is less than 4 weeks away! I have been planning this for 7 years...ever since I was pregnant with my ds! I am so excited to meet everyone!

Later,
Sarah May

Sarah May,

I apologize but I do not have you on our FE exchange list - did you email your information to me and did I confirm receipt? I feel bad that you are missing - our cutoff for signing up was on Sept 25th and the final list has already been sent out. If you want to join, you can pm me your information (names of the adults, names and ages of the children, cabin number, and email address) and I can send out an email to the participants. I can't guarantee that everyone will be able to accomodate adding your family since it is such late notice, but I know some might be willing to include you. Once I received your information I will add it to the list and can send you the list of everyone participating.

Again, I'm sorry for any confusion and apologize if I missed your email.

Just got home, had a great evening at the movie theater watching The Lion King. Still as moving and magical when it first came out. Can't wait to pick up some merchandise at a Disney Store before I head to our cruise.

27 days, folks!

I watched the blu-ray this weekend.

Only merchandise we'll be looking at is on the ship. So sad, we'll be so close to WDW, yet so far away.

My 8-disc set from Amazon.com is still on the way. Takes a little longer to arrive here.

Yeah, kinda sad for me too. No WDW visit this year, but at least Disneyland instead. Since I fly into Miami, I'll probably hit the Aventura Mall Disney Store the day after my arrival. Plan to pick up the large Simba and/or Nala plushie. Of course I'll also look into DCL merchandise, probably a shirt and some Dream specific stuff.

At Disneyland, I intend to get their new remote control monorail playset, but I'm not sure if it will be released by then. A couple of those were sold at the D23 convention back in August.

I love Palo brunch.. it is a favorite of mine.. so switching is a no brainer to me..

I wonder if when you're at DL the Haunted Mansion will still have the "Haunted Halloween" overlay? I've always wanted to see that. Also, It's a Small World may have their Christmas overlay.

The Chirstmas season at DL starts on November 14, I will be there from the 16th to the 20th, so it's safe to assume that I don't get to see any Halloween stuff. Looking forward to see the castle lights, the special parade and fireworks. Never been to DL during christmas season.

You will be able to seethe nightmare before Christmas overlay at haunted mansion, it continues until January, you must go on it, it is great. As well as small world overlay.

I love Palo's for both. They are both worth it, however - I have done both on a 7 night cruise before, but not the 4 night cruise. I have ressies for Palo's for night 1, and am hoping to do brunch on the at sea day if I can get ressies for that once on board. It will be like Palo bookends. LOL. If I can't get brunch ressies it will have to wait until my 7 night next year, and then it should be pretty easy to get ressies because we will have 3 at sea days on that trip, so plenty of opportunity. :goodvibes

I agree with you though, if you are doing Palo dinner on Pirate night and then trying to get up and do brunch the next morning at Palos might be a little stressful to get it all in during that 12 hour period. So, if you have to choose only one - hard call in my book, but I would probably lean more towards brunch. It was beyond anything I have ever experienced.

Welcome Reto!

My hubby LOVES jungle book! It is one of his favorite from his childhood and we have shared that movie with our boys. They really like the movie too! It took me a while to get it added to our DVD library as it was very hard to find. I think I was searching to purchase it at a time when it was not for sale.

Your trip sounds exciting. You will have to be careful not to blink as you drive across the country. 6 days to see it all means you will not have a lot of time to makes sight seeing stops.

We have Palo for dinner on Pirate night and the high tea for the sea day. Then on the first night of the 3-night afterwards we have Remy.

I'm glad I reviewed my reservations recently because I hadn't realized that I had Palo booked again on the 3-night. I cancelled that booking this past weekend.

Hi jajomo0118, Great magnets !

I would love to go to Palo for the Brunch, I may check at the restaurant when we board the ship, but I am guessing we will arrive too late for any reservations to be left.

Anyone doing the Castaway Cay 2 hour Boat Excursion around the island ? Has anyone else done this before? Curious what you thought of it.
