You know, I really miss you guys.
I am kind of depressed to be back at home.
I had such a great time (and so did Sean) but now I am home and there was
nothing special to come home to (except I missed my pets).

Meeting all of you on these DIS boards was very special to me and then to
meet you in person on the ship......this was great!

Michelle and Suzanne, you felt like family/best friends to me. :grouphug:

Running into Joann, Lisa, Sue, Julie and Chris, Beth, Beth, Claire and Jeff,
Holly, Bill and Fred.....and more.....it was just so cool to walk around the
ship, or at ports and say "Hi" and to know some new friends.

I miss everyone!
I hate being back at home :(

Now I'm going to get my Sunday morning vanilla latte at Starbucks,
but it won't be as special anymore as zipping up to Cove Cafe.

:grouphug: :wave2: :grouphug:

I had to get rid of my ticker. It was too sad to look at.
I'll make a new one when I've decided which week I'll be
going in 2007.

Hi everyone,

After a long drive home, I'm back at work today. we arrived about 4:45 yesterday and a long and hazardous trip - Next time I will fly! We all had a great time, and I miss being on the ship. I keep thinking, one week ago I was..... I did try to post a long trip report, but I don't know where it went or what happened! I got a duplicate thread message, but can't really find it. It makes me mad because I spent alot of time typing it! We did not rebook on board, but hope to book some time in the future, maybe in 2007. Claire

Suzanne--We rebooked for the same cruise as you. Got to love that double Castaway Cay, and we really enjoyed Costa Maya. Try booking now for the Dave and Ivan tour; it was incredible, and both my kids loved it. I'll let my DS know that your son will be on the cruise next year. I know that they were partners for making flubber in the lab. My DS will just have turned 12 next year, so he'll still be in the lab.

Does anyone else still feel the swaying of the ship? My DH was feeling it till last night, but I'm still waiting for my 'land legs'.

I also keeping hearing the ship horn in my head, and waiting for Brett's anouncements. :rotfl:

Lauri,

I am still swaying, too! Claire
I'm so glad you guys said that. I thought it was just me. The first night off the cruise I kept feeling the resturant rocking. (or I thought I did).

I wanna go back now!!!!

I still feel the boat swaying too!
I read a thread about this and someone suggested taken Bonine/Dramamine
for a few more days after you get home.

I really miss everyone! I was so depressed yesterday I didn't even want to
talk to anyone. Today, back at work I felt better. Everyone asked about my
trip and I rambled on all day about how it was the best trip of my life!

I told people about how it was just so great knowing people onboard before
we even cruised, and then meeting up with them in person, and just how
much fun that was. I love all my new DIS friends! :grouphug:

I miss you all so much I wish we could do this every year. But unfortunately
I can't do it next until 2007. I booked onboard, but am unsure when I really
want to go. Probably the November week would work out really well again.

I still feel the pull and push of the ocean... they call it sea legs ( i think). I need to find my land legs soon.

We had a fabulous trip. I need to do a few postings later this week concerning the noise level of our room.

We booked captian marvians- went into his house to meet him after the water portion of our tour. his sis- in law showed us around!!!

we also booked outside of disney for a beach break in costa maya that was amazing.... a slice of heaven!

The over the door shoe holder worked soooo well. I found that tip here. Also, cant say enough about the tip of picking your bed up and storing all the luggage and life preservers under the bed. Made for a much neater room.

I got a real kick out of meeting in parrot cay for our drill. At least if the ship would have gone down, we would of had full bellies. I never did find out which life boat was ours...

Ann

Ann,
Where did the beach break go in Costa Maya? We kine of did our own thing and wondered where you found paradise at there.

Sean

Sean,

Here is the link:

http://costamayacruiseexcursions.com/CostaMayaBeach.htm

Maybe there were 30 people there.. the food was fresh and good. It also included an thathed roof-(open- unlimited drinks with the price) bar that had swings for seats.

My Hubby and I sipped our drinks and watched our girls play in the calm water. Then we snorkeled right off the beach with them. They saw see urchins and fish not 20 feet from our lounge chairs. It was breath taking.

This separation anxiety is such a hard thing to kick..so is the swaying... I told the kids in 1 week we'll all be better. ...only wish I could believe that! We're actually heading down to Disney for Christmas so that is helping a bit. Gotta get that chain going.

We wound up booking a 3 night for next November but to be honest after a 7 nighter it'll be hard to do anything less. So after discussing it we decided to change it to the 7 night again. I'd prefer to do the Eastern but the only time we can go is on the Western (NJ week).

It was so nice meeting all of you on board. What a great group of people!! Thanks Rose, again, for all of the hard work you put into making those tags! They were awesome!!! Suzanne...thanks for bringing meet to this meet board. You helped me meet some really nice folks (Just look at that great picture!!!) Michelle...Jordan had fun playing with your son on Castaway Cay for that short time....(The three of you have beautiful sons!!!)Lisa and Boo's Gram it was so nice talking with you! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the cruise!
